I like this lipstick (definitely more of a lipstick than stain), but it worries me that it contains BHA, a known carcinogen and endrocrine system disruptor.
I emailed Bloom for their ingredient list, here's the full ingredient list for Bloom Lip Stain in Nude/Stain/Tint/Veil:

I know this hasn't gotten very good reviews so far, but this lip tint is truly a nude colour on my lips. Its also a tint for me and not as much as a lipstick. It's actually the closest thing I own to a lipstick, as I'm more of a lip gloss girl.
Having said all this, I am an NC44 and with quite pigmented lips so I can see how the colour would come up quite strongly on other reviewers.
One down side for me is that it is not very moisturising and as another reviewer mentioned, I would need to use a separate lipbalm under this.
Love the slim packaging

This product touts itself as a soothing lip balm that gives lips a sheer hint of colour. However, it's a lot more like a lipstick than a lip balm, and it's definately not sheer. It's a brown/plum colour on my lips. It's not horrible as far as lipsticks are concerned, but I feel like the product marketing is misleading!

I feel like I ended up with a different product than the other reviewers. I was hoping that this lip tint would have a plumish rather than a brown tint but on me this lipstick ends up showing up on me as being brown - no sign of plum at all. Now this could be because I have very unpigmented lips so whatever color in in the lipstick tube is what ends up showing up on my lips. I also do tend to have lipstick turn orange on me - never fushcia but just as big a dislike of mine as those of you who have the fushcia problem. Because this is so brown/orange on me I am sending it back. I still like my one other Bloom lip tint in the color tint but all the other colors available in this style of Bloom lipstick look off limits to me.

ITA with the previous MUA'er. This is SOOOO not nude, on me it has a plum tint as well (NC20, brown, green) & also, it's not moisturizing enough. Mine is going back to Sephora too. Damn Sephora and their $#*tty swatches.

I ordered thinking this would be more like a lip balm with color, but it's more like a color with very little lip balm. It's not as moisturizing as I need. I need to apply a chapstick or the rosebad lip balm first. I don't think the color's that "nude" either; it has a plum tint. I won't buy this again. Update: I felt bad, but I returned it to Sephora.
