i got this on sale for $20.
i was super excided. the glosses are tiny, most of them smell pleasant, i dont notice any plumping effect worth mentioning. the texture is very thin...i guess a fun product although nothing special at all.

Purely hype! I feel ashamed of the fact that I got mad at my mom (I know..pathetic, but this was about a year and a half ago!) for not getting me these overpriced ($42), yucky feeling glosses. I surrendered to the hype after reading about the "yumminess" and flavor of these glosses, and their "plumping" effect. The tubes are TINY, almost microscopic (smaller than the URBAN DECAY lip gloss set which includes six glosses). These glosses have NO staying power whatsoever: prepare to reapply four to five times every half hour. Some of the glosses are okay, like Juicy (sheer berry) and Slip (cherry red) which have a relatively okay scent (my boyfriend says they smell like Cherry Tylenol)but Dreamy and Luscious are horrible! The smell is so artificial I can't even describe it, and they taste disgusting! They give little sparkle and are sheer enough for a Kindergartner, although they are advertised with words such as "sexy. delicious, provocative",etc. Believe me, they're a rip off. Don't let Jessica Simpson, who I'm sure uses MAC or Chanel, fool ya!

I bought this set for my hairdresser after I was majorly late for an appointment as a sort of apology gift. She loved them :)This is a great set for anyone who likes glosses and just wants to try these out. They taste good, you get a bunch of flattering shades, and the tubes are small enough to carry in your pocket or a small purse.Cute.

The lip glosses are the only thing in the Dessert line which are even remotely worth the money, other than the glitter powders. I say that sadly, because I'd love it if the fragrances were longer lasting. I bought this set to see if there were any glosses I particularly liked. I like them all, as it turns out. They are fairly sheer and taste and smell nice. I'd go with Slip and Creamy as favorites. I do wish they'd included Sunny and Bunny in the set- it would have made the price easier to take and truly completed the set. I might re-buy.

This product is so wonderfull. I am a Dessert Beauty lover, so you could imagine I love these as well. The packaging is so cute, its very fun. I have too full sizes of these glosses as well as this gloss set! I can't imagine why anyone would complain about these, they are the best. They smell, taste, and look incredable! They are thin in texture, so they don't feel sticky or too thick and icky. They plump your lips just enough for that georgous look!So yummy! The quality of the item is really good, so when you think about it, the price is'nt bad at all.

I rarely wear any of these - so I can't imagine running out of it and wanting to buy more. The scents are all really sweet and can get overpowering with reapplication. The plumping aspect was virtually non-existant.

i LOVE this... all of the glosses are DELICIOUS, beautiful, and not too dark... the texture is kinda thin, and it's kinda pricey, but the flavor and the glimmer is to-die-for!!!!!!!!

All of these glosses taste delicious! They all look fabulous, but the problems are that they aren't very moisturizing and they don't give you much for the money.

I only got these because they are mini size. Would not buy again. Just like everyone says, they are too thin in texture and the mint tingle dominates the flavors too much. If you want tingle, I recommend TheBALM glosses. For cute packaging, Sugarbaby. Cheaper price, Bonne Bell. For saturated color plus gloss, Urban Decay. UD also has minis. In other words there are so many expensive and cheap glosses are out here better than dessert, only buy this if it keeps you up at night wanting it!

Well, I'm going to go against the majority here, and just say I hate this stuff! Agreed, it's one of the better values in the Dessert line--you receive six .3 oz tubes of Creamy (vanilla/caramel), Juicy (berry), Dreamy (chocolate/coconut), Luscious (buttercream), Slip (cherry) and Slide (caramel). Let me start by saying I couldn't even get past the smell of some of them when I opened them--ICK!! I was nauseated. Since the Creamy fragrance is one of my faves, I decided to sample that one on my lips. Unfortunately, the flavor isn't consistent with the other products that feature Creamy. These are supposed to be "plumping" lip glosses, so there's a little tingle in them, and what I detect to be mint. It had a plastic vanilla-mint taste to it, not at all like the sweet vanilla caramel flavor featured in the fragrance. All I could smell and taste was plastic-mint, UGH! Next I tried Slip, as it smelled the most appetizing (sweet cherries). Again, the tingle and the mint--it was like Robitussin Cough Calmers (cherry-flavored cough suppressant lozenges), absolutely sickening! Maybe I'm a mint purist--I love the smells of peppermint and spearmint, but not combined with other food scents (such as vanilla or cherry). As for the plumping effect (I couldn't see any), I'll stick with DuWop's Lip Venom.

This is a bit pricey, but a cute set. Colors are sheer and pretty, they smell awesome. They are about half the size of a regular Dessert Gloss, way way bigger than the samples Sephora sends out (i.e. Goldrush). A lot of people have been thinking they are that small, they are not. So if you consider size, a regular Dessert gloss is $21, the set is equivalent to 3 full size (you receive 6 half size) and is $42. So not outrageous price-wise, but certainly not cheap. Hope this helps someone :)

I don't really like lipstick so these glosses were perfect for me. They have just a hint of color and they taste / smell good. The packaging is cute, too. If you are looking for a lot of color then you may not like these. My only complaint is the Juicy and Slip colors were really to bright for my taste. I love the other ones, though!

A bit pricey, but I love this lil' lip gloss set sooo much! The colors go with every occasion, and they smell/taste sooo yummy! I think the Dessert line lip glosses are the best! The price is a lil' tooo high though :/

Even though I really like this set, I wouldn't buy it again. This is, however, a great way to try the lipglosses in this line without buying the full sizes. Overall, they are 'okay'. They smell great and give a nice shimmery shine (not much color though). I like them because they are small and easy to slip in a pocket. And I am a sucker for mini's. This would make a great gift for a teen.

I love all these glosses. They are super shiny and not sticky at all!! I love that I can switch glosses everyday. I tiny tube is actually lasting me a LONG time too, definitely worth the price (which isn't even that bad). Every time I wear a gloss, people around me ask what it is that I'm using because it smells soooo good. I just wished it lasted a little longer on the lips...

I have been lemming this since the day it popped up on e-bay. Well, there it was in the Bon!! My sweetie bought it for me & I love each of the glosses. Slide is definitely the most pigmented color of the set-a beautiful rich reddish light brown color. Creamy is my favorite of the scents mmmm so delicious! Like brownies:)

Anyway, if you are hoping to try the dessert glosses I would absoloutely recommend this set. So cute and nice!

This is a great set. It includes six of the Dessert line's lip glosses, Creamy, Dreamy, Juicy, Slip, Slide and Luscious. The tubes are somewhat small, but it's still a good deal, if you like variety.
