I cannot get started without this product, I have fine straight, wavy, poufy, curly, frizzy, kinky hair in that order.(as my hair dries, it transforms in that order) This is my base product after every shampoo (just a drop) finger through hair give a few minutes then add products to style as usual.

This works nicely (when I don't use too much) to smooth down my thick, straight coarse hair and give it a shine and softness it doesn't otherwise have. It's pretty expensive, but a little goes a very long way, and since it doesn't appear to contain any alcohol or other harsh ingredients, I feel safe using it regularly on my hair. Does occasionally make hair a little greasier/stickier the second day around, but if you're careful about the amount, it's generally OK.

I'm on my 3rd bottle of the Lite formula and I absolutely love this hair serum. My hair is thick, slightly wavy, fine and prone to dryness in the crown area. When my hair is shoulder-length, a dime-sized squirt is enough to cover my hair and give it body, silkiness, and shine. After drying my hair looks calmer and the ends looks smoother and less frizzed. This isn't a miracle product. You won't be left with sleek straight hair but it will be a heck of lot easier to manage. With some products, you must be very careful with the amount you use. With this hair serum, I think you would need to use quite a bit before your hair would start to look heavy and greasy. Very good serum for fine hair, and for the money!
Edited 7/31/06: I don't know what the Frizz-Ease did with the Lite Formula but it's not the same as it was. I recently purchased a new bottle and the new packaging should been my first clue. The forumla feels thicker and my hair doesn't perform the way it used to. I've tried using a smaller amount and still no success. Why did a something so good have to change?!

I bought this for my wavy hair that tends to get dry/frizzy in the summer. I use john freida ocean waves, which I love, so I thought I'd get this for heavy duty humidity. I applied 3-4 times the recommended amount and not one bit of difference, I have used cheapo hair gels that worked better than this. It's going in the trash!

I use it every day. Fine blonde semi-wavy hair a little longer than shoulder length. Hair is very prone to frizz and very dry ends. Two pumps of this, mix together in hands, then smooth onto ends and a little above. Comb through, blow dry. Doesn't build up, doesn't darken blonde (but I shampoo every day) and doesn't smell. Dirt cheap too.
Edit: this stopped doing it's magic for me after 10 years of use. The lite version is a little better.

I think this is one of only a handful of products that I can say worked wonders on the first use! I decided to try the Lite formula instead of choosing the one that would be for my hair type (I should have bought extra strength for course hair) I have a major thick lion mane, but I decided on the LITE after reading reviews (for the other serum types) about the "heaviness" of the regular and extra strength. I chose right. Instantly my hair was de-frizzed, it felt healthy, soft and was not at all weighed down. The formula didn't smell at all (some reviewers said it smelt bad). It was even on sale at shoppers drug mart for half the price. I would pay full price without even flinching...this is so good! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
