I bought this because of the great reviews it had and because I need my hair to smell good after I wash it. My hair is sooooo thick and long and its really hard to get it clean deep down. This lathers well and washes out easily. I have been trying to stay away from cones and while I am sure there are drying agents in this my hair is looking shiny and soft. I will probably use this every few days and use something creamier once a week. Really worked well to clean my scalp and leave a deep down fresh apple scent.

This is a good shampoo at least imo. I bought it just because it was on sale & I thought I would try it out. Not a bad investment for the price. It smells good. I think the packaging is basic but good enough. Does an overall good job at keeping my hair clean. Would recommend it among Suave products.

This is a great simple shampoo that won't cause buildup or strip your hair. It actually contains fewer detergents than most other shampoos and there is no no sodium lauryl sulfate, which is a very harsh detergent found in a vast array of other shampoos.

I wanted a shampoo that left my hair feeling clean, didn't cause buildup, scalp itch or dandruff, that could also remove buildup from conditioner, and this is it. My scalp feels better than ever, and my hair is squeaky clean. Plus, it smells delicious in the shower. That being said, I don't notice that it does anything particularly positive for my hair such as providing moisture, but be that as it may, I will be buying this again, and recommend this as a no-frills, basic shampoo.

I only used this once, but I used it after a long day at work and I didn't want to really lather up my hair and all diddly, my head felt refreshed!! I was like, WOAH. I used Suave for a long time, the 2n1 kids, stopped when I had buildup and large chunks of hair was falling out so I was skeptical to continue this. However, I think I'll use it once in a while when I had that one night. Not a green apple fan either, but smelled good and didn't linger too. Worth a try.

I purchased this because I enjoy green apple scented items. This product delivers the apple goodness I was expecting, although the scent does not linger. It washes well and keeps my hair feeling clean until the next washing. Will repurchase.

I like this shampoo & at the same time I'm disappointed, but all the same I might still repurchase this.

I like it because it's fresh & works great - cleans my hair, leaves it squeaky fresh & doesn't over-strip my natural hair (despite all the ALS in it).

I'm disappointed because it there's barely any apple fragrance. I love the color but I'd like it to smell more apple-y. The apple scent was the whole reason I searched high & low for this shampoo only to ultimately have to order it from Drugstore.com b/c none of my local stores carry it.

Well it's a great shampoo & the scent is nice but just a bit lacking.

I've been on this "all-natural" (expensive) shampoo kick, and even played around with no-poo methods which really didn't work for me! I kind of looked down my nose at the old "cheap" shampoos like this that my mom would get when I was little. My husband *always* uses this shampoo--when he's out of it, he just gets another one. After spending money on so many products and techniques that didn't work, I just got disappointed! So last night in the shower, I picked up my husband's trusty bottle of Juicy Green Apple--and my hair feels great! After spending so much money for hyped up products I couldn't afford...I am going back to this brand. I have strong hair and an oily scalp, so the extra cleansing ingredients don't bother me.

I bought it for the scent, but I find that after washing with it and using the matching conditioner the scent really doesn't last at all, maybe because the conditioner is so runny that it washes right out. Immediately after using the shampoo though, i felt my hair was squeaky clean but also very dry, and the conditioner didn't help to moisturize it at all. Since the shampoo and conditioner were so light and got all the dirty stuff off though, my hair seems to be less weighed down and has more volume after I dried it. I think I'll just keep it for a deep clean wash once a week, but for the other days I'm switching back to a less drying shampoo.

This is the best smelling shampoo I have ever purchased! At less than $3 for a pretty nice sized bottle, there is nothing to lose. I am an apple fanatic, and buy anything with the scent, but this is one of the better ones! It is not a cinnamon-type apple scent, but a pure freshly-squeezed apple from an orchard. Now, about that actual product! It's not bad, but it's not the best. I find most of Suave's products to be a bit drying, but I still cannot help but use this! The good thing about it, is that it does remove all of the gross build-up in my hair from hairspray and what-not. If a conditioner is used after this, it is perfect. Try it out!

I use this shampoo as bubble bath and loooove it for that. The bubbles are amazing! They last during the whole bath and it only takes a little to make a huge amount of bubbles! I use it layered with my Asquith & Somerset bath products in Pear, and this green apple scent is very similar, sooo deliciously yummy.

Suave recently reformulated their Naturals shampoos so I decided to try this one. It is so much better than before. My hair was getting build-up so I used this and now my hair is squeaky clean without being dry. This shampoo smells good and is cheap. What could be better?

This shampoo along with the Fresh Mountain Strawberry were the staples of my childhood. My mom always kept huge bottles of this in our tub for family use. I remember how clean, soft, and shiny my hair always felt after using this before bed. And the smell was heavenly. I had been using more expensive shampoos as an adult but my hair was starting to feel weighed down and I longed for that clean feeling again. I bought this and was not sorry! Same fresh green apple jolly rancher scent with rich bubbly lather that leaves hair squeaky clean. It is a great value and a reliable product. It is not thin like the V05 shampoos but a nice thick gel. Try it!

This is a great shampoo to CLARIFY!
I had this shampoo a few years ago, and it really moisturized my hair well, but on repurchasing, I found it really dried out my hair.
I like to put coconut oil in my hair to moisturize every now and then, but I have the hardest time getting it out!
After using two different clarifying shampoos today in one shower alone without any luck of removing all the residue, I noticed this shampoo sitting on the side. One wash was all it took for all the oil to come out... my hair was literally squeaky clean!
Since this really dries out hair, make sure you use a good conditioner! I followed with the matching conditioner, and then followed with Marc Anthony's Strictly Curls conditioner to really soften it up!
For a GOOD clarifying shampoo that smells wonderful, get this!

*The reason the packaging wasn't too great was cuz it leaks out a little when you pour it out.*

It was suggested to me that pretty much any kind of Suave shampoo could be used to clarify every once and a while, so I decided to give it a shot. I mean, the shampoo costs $1.45, so it's worth giving it a try. I actually used to use this years ago before I knew much of anything about hair products and I remembered loving the scent, so I grabbed it up again to try. I just wanted something to get all of the gunk out of my hair after swimming.

I have a very sensitive scalp and often if I switch shampoos away from my zinc shampoo I get horrible flakes and irritation. This did not occur when I used the juicy apple shampoo & accompanying conditioner. It DID leave my hair feeling kind of dry, but I was expecting that since I wanted it to clarify. I just followed up with some Bumble & Bumble Tonic Lotion before and after blow drying and my hair was back to normal. It's sleek and shiny and feels great. I won't use this more than once a week or so, and the family size bottle was very cheap, so I won't have to repurchase it any time soon. However, I would buy it again if I ran out-- maybe in a different scent? The tangerine one was kind of tempting too. :)

I had been using Tressemme and alternating with a dandruff shampoo because my scalp was very itchy with lots of flakes and I have never had problems with dandruff, I bought this to use and it completely cleared up my problem. I think the Tressemme had left some gunky buildup on my scalp. this shampoo lathers nicely, cleans very well, and leaves my hair feeling fresh and looking very shiny. My hair is naturally pretty wavy with a fine to medium texture and is about collarbone length. This shampoo also works great as a body wash and the smell is wonderful.

This shampoo smells great in the bottle but I found the scent wasn't as strong on my hair. It cleans very well but can be a little drying. My hair feels light though and isn't weighed down. Definitely a good bargain.

I love the fragrance - it is invigoratingly pleasant but not overpowering. Also love the new packaging. It does a nice job cleansing, and I use it as a clarifying shampoo. This product is well worth the price ($1.49 in Duane Reade in New York City).
