I love the color in the tube, but it goes on sheer. The quality of the gloss itself is nice; it has a nice smell and texture. However, the color is too sheer to be worth much for me. I use it over like-colored lipstick for extra shine. It's nice for that, but I won't restock if/when I run out.

I'm a fan of all the Glazewear lip glosses. The color in the the tube looks like it will be bright, but on your lips it is a very sheer wash of color.

This looks bright red and sparkly in the tube, but when I applied it, it was a very sheer red. No stickiness at all, and the smell (sort of vanilla?) isn't too overpowerful or cloying, and goes away pretty quickly.

this was ok for a lipgloss. it had light red tint to the base a/ red glitter.
gave it to my daughter since it didnt do a thing for me. but i love most of avons glazewears

As many reviewers already stated, the catalog is very misleading regarding this color. I fell in love with the color as shown in the brochure (rich red with sparkles mixed in), but when I received my Avon order and applied this gloss, there's absolutely nothing to it. While it feels nice on my lips, there's zero color associated with it. Kinda disappointed. Wouldn't purchase again. I'll try other shades instead.

I really wanted to like this one. Like all Glazewear liquid lipcolors, the texture was nice, not sticky. The scent- light and somewhat fruity, there's a hint of a sweet flavor, but not much. I was expecting a glossier shine. This looked more like a sheer light pink with flecks of glitter on. I'll still blend it with my favorite lip liners. Won't re-buy.
Oh well.

Its a very very sheer red tint gloss. Its pretty when I dont want to wear alot of makeup but still need a hint of color. In the catalog, its really misleading because I thought it was a bright red, but its not. I'm NC30 and it barely shows up on me but its ok. Its still a keeper because its VERY moisturizing, but i wont be repurchasing as I like a medium colored glosses such as Rosebud or Tickled Pink.

I love this stuff. The photos in the campaign catalogue were deceiving and made it look like a very sparkly bright red...And it's actually very sheer with a little bit of glitter to it. It smells and tastes lovely and is so sweet and subtle on.

Love this lip gloss! It 's not sticky at all! When I was looking though the Avon catalog, I thought it was going to give off a bright red glossy kind of effect but I was wrong; it wasn't red red, it was more like sheer red with sparkles. Really does make make look a bit more natural and sometimes when I look pale I use it to add a little bit of color. Over all a very good simple lip gloss for the price! Will definitely buy again.

In the catalog the swatch is bright sparkly red, and it looks that way in the tube but its actually very sheer. It just gives a hint of red with soft sparkles. I like wearing this with bright eyes, as it gives my lips enough color without being too over the top. This also is great on days when I just want a nude lip. The gloss is thick but not too sticky. There is no scent. This cost just $6 but is half off more often then not.

If you are wanting a very sheer red tint, this is perfect. I was hoping for a tad more pigment though. More like Revlon's SL Cherries in the Glow. I like the formula of Glazewear better than Revlon though. Great natural look.

This is by far my favourite colour in Glazewear. It looks really pretty on. Plus it's super cheap. I usually get a tube for $2.99. This is one lipgloss I can't be without, I wear it everyday. I love the colour and the price is great.

I bought this after reading the reviews here and noticing that people liked the sheer color. I just love it, it is now my staple, everyday gloss. I use it over lipstick or wear it alone. It never drys or irritates my lips, it is not too sticky (my long hair doesn't get caught in it), it smells nice and adds just the right amount of color for my fair complexion when worn alone. I have stocked up on quite a few tubes as I am afraid they will discontinue the color (I hope not, but that always happens when I find something great). Thank you for the reviews, I never would have picked the color on my own, it looks too bright and sparkly in the tube, but it is just perfect!

This one is a very pretty brightish shimmery shiny red. It's a very holiday red like that associated with Christmas, Valentines Day, or Patriotic Holidays. Great for all skintones in my opinion, and great smooth silky texture and shine. These glosses have no scent, maybe a very light vanilla smell, but it's really not noticeable at all. I love these glosses. They are probably my favorites along with Neutrogena's Moistureshine glosses. Pretty colors at great prices!

Very disappointed. The color looks beautiful in the tube, but there is no pigment when I put it on. I'm better off putting Vaseline on my lips!!! The few sparkles are not worth even the $1.99 I paid. I am a PPP with rosy lips but I expected some kind of color.

Ruby Slippers is my favorite Glazewear color! It's bright red in the tube but applies very light and nice. I have very fair skin and cannot normally wear red without looking freakish. Ruby Slippers just gives my lips a fresh, natural rosy color. Love it! Glazewear glosses are not sticky at all which I love in a gloss. Very moisturizing and smells great - a very warm light vanilla scent.

This is as close to red as I can wear, being light complected blue-eyed and blonde. I used to wear Mystique Glazewear from Avon for my red and recently I discovered that it is just too dramatic-looking for this down-to-earth gal. Ruby Slippers is a much more understated, natural way for me to put a pop of color on my face. I also didn't feel like it was too juvenille (being 40ish - I have to watch that). LOVE it, definite repurchase.
