Sex on the Beach is a frosty, shimmery peach-pink that has both lavender and brownish undertones. It has both gold and silver flecks, which are tiny in comparison to most polishes.
This color gets raves and deservedly so - it goes with SO many skin tones. It's a mid-tone color that's a true neutral and it's neither too warm nor too cool. It also has some bling but is toned down enough to wear to work.
So, yes, Sex on the Beach is one of those hard-to-find "blingy" neutrals that works well for most.
My only issue, and this is my issue with the entire China Glaze line, is that the brush is tiny and doesn't give coverage without lots of strokes. I prefer a wider brush that covers in three strokes - unfortunately, ChG is not one of them.

Given as a gift to me from my hubby I would not have purchased this on my own (it looks boring in the bottle) but after wearing it finally I am in love with this color! NC25 here. I usually go for cream finish polished and this is some sort of glitter frost combo but without being chunky. It applies to the bottle in just two. I would have to describe this color as a glimmery golden pink. Its so flattering! I love loud colors on my toes so this is suitable just for my fingers imo. This is my first try at ChG polishes and I want more!

This is a great spring color. I would describe it as a princess pink with silver sparkles in it. I LOVE the sparkles in the polish. Normally I'm attracted to matte color but I absolutely love this. It's kind of sheer so I would recommend 2 coats + a topcoat to give it extra shine. Definitely a very pretty, feminine color!

Just bought this for less than 3 dollars! It's a mauve with silver flecks. I'm not a big fan of flecks, though. Without light, it looks sandy or like a dulled lilac, but with light it gets pinker! And I just loove pink polishes. If you love pinks & neutrals, this is for you!! 2 coats is enough, 3 works too! i like it so far, and the name was just great, which probably caused me to buy it in the first place (since i havent seen swatches until AFTER i bought it.) I like it, and can't wait to wear it in the sun! I may be a bit too tan for this color, because it looks so neutral and peachy on me (not bright enough). On fair skin, I would assume it would show up darker. Since it is so sheer, it's different on each person which is always fun to see when you host nail polish parties!

This color is nice. I am into bright colors and all shades of pink, but this one just doesn't get me overly excited. It is a very pretty color if you are looking for something neutral. It has a very nice effect in the sunlight. It initially looks pink, but has some mauve undertones and a golden shimmer. The color really depends on the lighting that you fall into. I am glad that I bought this color because I don't have anything like it. I am going to wear it with a nude color dress that own, so it will go to good use.

Leeming this for a while, these kinds of colors tend to go extremely well on my PPP. I would put this in the category with my favorite OPI shade "argenteenly pink" its very similar but has that extra kick with the shimmers and slight glitters. Very pretty. If you love OPI argenteenly pink, this is a must have.

Pretty neutral polish. It's a hard color to describe and it reminds me of those neutral shimmery eyeshadow colors. Two coats was opaque fore me. The application is smooth and it wears very well.

This is a very subdued color and yet complex. Depending on the light and angles, it can look peachy, lavendar, rose, or even taupe. The silver sparkles don't look chunky. The wear is ok, I can still see my tips after 2 coats but it's opaque after 3. Although I like the color and thus giving it a 4, I will not repurchase it doesn't do much for my skintone, sometimes it looks like I'm not wearing any polish. And sometimes my hands look green :( Pretty color but it's not for me.

This is a unique color. I got a whole bunch of new polishes (OPI/ChG) in the other day and this one kept catching my eye as being the first one I wanted to use for a fresh new pedi. The color reminds me most of the pink gold that is sometimes used in jewelry. It has a great amount of shimmer/metallic (I am not too familiar with the difference) but at the same time, manages to look kinda neutral ''with a twist''. I think I am NW20 and on me it looks great! Definite repurchase for me.

I really dislike the color, it is so hard to pin down what color it is... it has a mix of greenish tone, pink and abit of shimmer. It did nothing for my NC35 colorings. Blah is what it was. Maybe on other colorings it might be better?

Gorgeous color! Very hard to describe though, but I'll give it a shot. To me, its a golden rosy pink with lots of silver micro-glitter. Its a light shade even though it has glitter, so its not "flashy" and could be worn by anyone in my opinion. This would look great with a tan!

I love this color. To me it is Nars Orgasm in Nail Polish form ( perhaps a little more rose toned and darker ) I don't have anything else like it in my aresenal. I love china glaze polishes ! This one is different enough to justify getting it !

This is a good color, a coppery-toned pink. It goes on easy, dries fast and isn't "too" pink with my skin tone. The only drawback is that it's a little sheer for me.

I just got this today, & I'm really liking this a lot. It's a difficult color to describe. Kind of a pale corally bronze or a light pinky/peach color. From an angle, it looks like a light pink. Then when you look directly at it in the light, it's a peach. And there's LOTS of shimmer in this, almost a silvery golden glitter! This would go with a lot & is almost like a neutral color, but not so neutral that you wouldn't notice it on your nails. Really pretty color, & I definitely would buy this again! This is replacing OPI's Nomad's Dream for my favorite shimmery pinky/peach. ** UPDATE ** I do like this, but I've ultimately decided that this has just a little bit too much pink it in for my warm coloring. OPI's Cozu-Melted in the Sun is almost a dupe of this, but it's more on the peachy/warm side & a little less pink, so decided to opt for that instead.
