I'm reviewing both Stila's Flicker and Salsa. No, I've not become lazy, it's just that I can't tell the two of them apart! And no, I'm not colour-blind...

I've bought the pair (and 5 other shadows) in a nearly unused, mint 8 pan compact. I was only in the market for the compact, but since this is a rarity here in the UK and the only one I found on eBay had already a few eye shadows coming with it, I thought 'what the heck, let's spoil myself'. I bought everything for a little more than the price of a new compact. Probably one of the best bargains I snagged.

And coming with the gorgeous palette were the aforementioned Flicker and Salsa eye shadows. Both are peachy, warm nudes with Flicker having a slightly more reddish tint to it in the pan. But, I swear, I can't tell them apart on my eyelid. Both are beautifully light and shimmery and go well in combination with a lot of other eye shadows, such as Kitten, Launey and Pigalle. As with other Stila eye shadows, the consistency is right on the money. Soft, smooth... and ultra blendable whilst not creasing or coming off too soon.

Furthermore, Salsa is supposed to be used as a blush as well as an eyeshadow. But it looks wrong on me. Even though I am a PPP, Salsa has nowhere enough pigment and too much shimmer to make it a good blush. And it's too orange... meh.

To sum it up, Flicker and Salsa are wonderful eye shadows, but they aren't exactly 'you rock my world' sort of stuff. If I want a nude eye shadow that makes my eyes pop, I use Kitten.

Salsa is a light peach with pink undertones and gold shimmer. Very pretty as a blush, but too sheer to be used as an e/s, IMO.

I really love this colour. I received it in a great swap. It kind of reminds me of the pink in the legally blonde warm set, but with more peach in it. It really brings out blue eyes. I wear it with starlight all over, salsa on the lid, and barefoot contessa to line. It also pairs really nice with a green eyeliner (I use Rimmel exaggerate in pine) for a really cool look. I definitely recommend this!

This is absolutely gorgeous on my eyes and cheeks (warm toned PPP-LLL, blue eyes). It really brings out the color of my eyes and gives my cheeks a lovely subtle shimmer. I recommend it to all pale warm-toned ppl!

Salsa is a warm creamy pink with gold shimmer that can be used on eyes and cheeks. Some people find it similar to NARS Orgasm, but I think it's much prettier. I like to wear Salsa on my cheekbones with Tutu on the cheeks. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm truly sad that it's been discontinued.

Salsa is one of my staples! I *love* this pretty shimmery medium slighty pinkish peach! I like to wear it on my lid and up into my crease area, a little Jezebel in the crease, and Twig to line. Very pretty peachy look! :) Pan retails for $14, I think.

Salsa is a medium peach shimmer with slight pink undertones. The eye rouge formula can be used on cheeks or on eyes. I got this as a GWP and am so happy I did! It is a really nice color to put on the lid to create a great summertime look.
