I love this toner, smells nice and fresh, leaves my skin so soft and clean, no sticky residue or drying of the skin as with some toners. Gentle enough for my sensitive skin yet keeps my oily, blockage prone skin under control. The all natural ingedients is a plus too. Will definately purchase again

I love this toner along with the rest of the Astara line. The base is aloe vera, holding multiple herbal extracts including witch hazel and cucumber. The bonus in this formulation is the Lactic Acid at a low percentage of around 5%. Just enough to slough off that upper dry skin layer and leave you with vibrant fresh skin showing through. Of course, anti-oxidants and citrus essential oils round off the concoction, and I find it a superb formulation. Organic, natural, perfect. UPDATE***Have found that the ingredients listed on the Astara website are only a partial list. These formulations contain artificial/chemical ingedients just like everything else. When a developer is not proud enough of their recipes, and tries to limit full disclosure of the product, it makes it look like they have something to hide. I'm pretty disgusted, and feel like they "got me" under false pretenses, but will not change the rating until I've used the system for at least six weeks.

I rather like Astara's toner - although it may not be suitable for the extremely sensitive as it is a bio-active (AHA containing) formula.

Smells nice (natural essential oils) and leaves no residue.

I alternate usage with other toners to about 3X per week. (I have normal to dry skin and if I use it every day it becomes too dry.)

This is one of the best toners I have come across. It actually does what it claims to... exfoliates! It is a little strong, but I have oily skin, so it really helps to balance. I only use it at night, though. I think twice a day would be too drying! Would definitely buy again!

This is the only toner I have ever been excited to use. It smells great and doesn't seem to mess with the moisture balance of my skin. It leaves me feeling refreshed. My love for this toner is made stranger by the fact that it has ingredients I usually stay away from--grapefruit and lemon. It doesn't irritate me in the least though. It does leave me feeling slightly sticky, but that's a small price to pay for a great toner.

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Gel, Infusion of Witch Hazel, Lemongrass, Comfrey and Calendula, Lactic Acid, Cucumber Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Vitamin E Acetate, dl-panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), Rosewater, Pink Grapefruit Oil, Lemon Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Chinese Geranium Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Ascorbate, Isoceteth (vegetable-derived), Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA.
