LOVE this color...too bad its now discontinued. Looks sooo great with my skin tone and works as a stand alone product. I would not wear this over another color as its perfect just as it is. I do think it would look really weird on light skin-toned women. I'm bi-racial with yellow undertones and its awesome!

Even though this isn't the best lipglass in the world, I won't use it by itself exactly. I found I can put it over brighter lipcolors just to tone the color down. It is a dark gold-brownish-grey, I don't see myself buying this again.

I don't really like this color. It's a bit too brown for me. I think it would look awesome on a darker skin tone, for a DDD. Anything lighter, it probably won't work. I find that if you mix it with mark's pink crush, it turns into bit of a nude shade. I dunno, I may experiment with it more and do some mixing of colors, but it definitely doesn't look good alone.

I find that I can only wear this color with certain darker lip shades...I can't wear it alone If I want to be taken seriously. I'm not really sure how to describe the color. On it's own, it's not very flattering, with smoove l/s it gives a just a little more umph...same goes for x-s l/s. I wear it at home, just to get some use out of it, but I don't think I'll repurchase once I run out. Update: I returned it after realizing it was too much trouble to try to make the color work for me

I really like this color. It is very unusual, and I wouldn't wear it alone... but over a darker l/s color, it's gorgeous. i bought it to go over Mac's Under World l/s, and it looks awesome! It tastes and smells yummy too. All in all, a sheer, neutral, unusual color.

This color is a pretty silvery brown in the tube. However, it is a very pastey looking grey on my lips - no matter how light I apply it. I will be returning this item as fast as I can. I really couldn't imagine anyone being able to wear this color at all. Matter of fact - why, oh why is this called 'good as gold' when there's no gold in it? The name should have been 'Mud' because that name/description fits best.

Ok, I got this today and I'm trying to figure out where is the gold in this color. This is a darker grayish version of chai and I do mean gray. I recommend putting on a very light coating of this or you will look like a corpse, I kid you not. Why does MAC either put loads of glitter or silvery-gray tones in their neutral/bronze lipglasses? If you have Chai or Explicit then don't buy this.
