Indeed, this is a very nice color. I would not call it a true red ... spice is far more appropriate in my case. A little red, a tinge orange, gold and brown, but very nice none the less. I hope I can wear this. My biggest problem with this item is the fragrance. I think it smells like vinegar. It reminds me of easter egg coloring with the Pas tablets. You would have to add vinegar and that's what this smells like. It doesn't linger too long; seems to dissipate after a minute. My husband thinks it smells a little like a red wine. It is thicker/ tackier than most lip glosses and it is very pigmented. I can't wait to see how it looks when I have on a little make up. I'll update when I have an epiphany regarding this particular item.

Colour: dark red with a bit of brown and a little gold shimmer
Size: 8ml
Staying power: medium-high
Me: PPP-LLL, blue eyes, black hair.

Have been using this shade ever since it first came out, and although I keep trying other brands for similar shades I keep coming back to this as I believe it is the perfect reddish lipgloss for my skin tone. I also love the consistency not too runny not too sticky, which means it can fade wo leaving those nasty traces around the lips. Even my mum owns it (she's PPP, black-reddish hair and green eyes)!!! If your skin is pale-ish and you have dark hair I would strongly recommed you try this beautiful lipgloss! Am on my 3rd tube (don't wear it everyday) and will keep on purchasing it.

I love this gloss! It is a beautiful red that is not too dark or too bright. It is perfect for the classic look- esp w/ black e/l and neutral makeup. Very Audrey Hepburn. It's not a high gloss, but has a nice consistency that feels very smooth but not too sticky. I am brunette/blue/medium and this is HG of red glosses.

this shade is GORGEOUS!!! when applied, it looks something between red, brown and berry, with the subtlest shimmer for a truly pouty look. it has a perfect balance between being sheer and glossy, and full coverage. wears like a lipstick and has great staying power. not runny at all (with dark glosses, you sometimes get the "clown" effect after an hour of wearing). it is not a nude shade, yet it looks a really natural red. for my taste, it`s a perfect everyday red-brown lipgloss for autumn and winter. just a bit sticky, but I like it because that way you know it`s still on your mouth. I don`t even mind the slightly annoying smell of red wine because this gloss is sooo gorgeous. I`m glad I waited untill fall with this purchase, because I can start wearing it right away (I`ve been looking it since the spring but IMO it really isn`t a summer shade).
by the way, I`m fair with blonde hair and hazel eyes. my lips are very fairly pigmented.
