Best nail varnish brand ever, hands down. You only need one coat of the reds and pinks. As good as the top coat, altough the top coat, which I beleive the best coat in the world tends to get thicker and gluish by the time.

I bought the Secrets of the French Manicure set, and it is fantastic. It is so fantastic that I had a nightmare last night that I took off my french manicure and put on my old favorite nail polish, China Glaze Ruby Red Pumps. But, when I woke up I saw my nails and they still had the Seche Vite on.

I don't understand why the instructions don't have you put the base coat under the white tips? The top coat makes my nails look thick, and it is self leveling so it is very, very smooth. They almost look fake except that I have newly extremely short nails. Ooh, speaking of short nails- I have never used the guide stickers because I have good fine motor control, but I don't understand how people with short nails are supposed to paint white on only the tips and not get it on the tips of their fingers. So that was helpful.

Apparently the top coat requires you to buy thinner or it gets too thick to use after a while- I am not really interested in doing that, so I am not sure I will buy again.

I am reviewing Seche Red - it comes in the "Secrets of an American Pedicure" kit (which comes with base coat - crappy, nail prep - great, and fast dry top coat - EXCELLENT!). I picked up at the beauty supply store for $10 for the set (which also had orangewood sticks and toe separators!)

The polish is AWESOME! Two coats gives a smooth, shiny, opaque colour and with the fast dry top coat, it is durable and lasts at least a week on me with no chips. The brush is small and easy to use on my tiny nails. The formula is liquidy - which I prefer as it is easier to control than a thicker consistency which I find globs and streaks.

I highly recommend trying Seche Red if you are looking for a true, candy apple red that is glossy and gorgeous on any nail length :)

I have the color "Dark Chocolate" - i was looking for a great dark, fall brown color...one that was not too sparkly, and that seemed more like a creme.
This actually has some sheen to it, but not much - it is a lovely dark brown and perfect for fall. This is almost identical to Lancome's Sable nail color - i tried them on side by side, and i swear i could not tell a difference, except this is $6.50 instead of $14.50!
I highly recommend this as a deep, rich, chocolatey brown color for fall. I love it!
