This is a great product. A friend recently passed this onto me and I'm sad that it's been discontinued.

If anyone wants to get rid of theirs, let me know.

This smells like licorice. I hate licorice. But I can't believe how it does wonders for my pores. It goes on dark, but as it dries, it turns to a light gray.

THAT is when u can see your oily spots. You can literally see what area has the most concentration of oil.

Afterwards, I usually just jump in the shower to get the mask off.

Warning: This stuff is potent! So after you have washed your face, go over your face with a toner and a cotton ball to remove the access clay that is still logged in your pores. (This might be the reason why some people said they broke out after they used this mask.) But if you follow this step and then end with a moisturizer, you will have some great results.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed in this mask,it was recommended to me by a BBW employee so I decided to try it...when I did put the mask on there was alot of stinging but I just assumed that was because it was cleaning my pores and etc..but when I rinsed it off my whole face was extremely red and the next day(after I put medicated lotion on my face) the skin around my nose and lips was peeling and very red..I'm not exactly sure what happened but needless to say I will never repurchase this...but, as I'm looking at other reviews, perhaps it was just too harsh for my skin, as others seem to have liked this mask.<3

I really don't like this mask at all. I'm always trying new ones (I don't know why, I LOVE my Queen Helene), and this one was a big disappointment. I see basically no improvement with use. My skin just doesn't feel CLEAN, and any zits I have look as red as ever. And you can't use it as an overnight treatment, you'll have to forcefully scrape it off your skin the next morning. Way too expensive ($15) for the results.

this is my favorite mask. it smells slightly like black licorice, and it is thick and dark and fresh. when you put it on your face, it feels cool, and it dries from a dark grey to a light grey. when it dries, it is very firm and it is hard to move your face, but you can see the impurities that it pulls out of your skin!! it washes off fairly easily (when you use a washcloth, as soon as the mask gets wet again, it gets soft and starts to wash off), and when you dry your face, it feels fresh and very smooth, and your skin smells good. it wasn't cheap ($7 on half price sale) but worth it.

WOW~~ I read all the reviews and decided to try this based on them and OMG~ It is hands down the all time best mask I have ever ever used. You can literally see the oil being sucked out of your pores when the mask dries, who knew you could see so many pores as it dried, I'm thoroughly impressed with this mask. You have to try this!:)

I got this mask on sale because I liked the way it smelled - like black licorice. Yummy. But it works FABULOUSLY! You can really see the oil absorbed into the mask as it dries, and my skin feels so soft and clear after removing it. I don't find it messy at all, but I apply using a foundation brush (dip, spread, dip, spread...). Great value!

AMAZING! This was such a treat! At first I liked it for the scent, but as it dried, and I felt how tight it got, it really felt like it was working! Rinsing off was a little tough, but it was not tough enough to make me decide not to purchase again or even make me dread using it again. I also love how it is in a tub. Usually I hate this, but since I dipped into it a few times to get enough product for my whole face, it may have been messy to use a tube of it. Would definitely buy again!

I much prefer this to Queen Helene mint julep masque. It's so thick it's hard to get off and then when it dries it cracks a whole bunch and feels really uncomfortable. I love the way the All in a Clay's Work is a consistency where it's thick but easy to spread thin and evenly. It also dries much smoother, which I think helps since it seems to have more contact with my skin instead of cracking and flaking off- I definitely agree with the reviewer who says it dries tight. It also seems to have actually lifted stuff from the pores on the tip of my nose. People swear that masks don't have the ability to pull stuff out of the pores, but honestly this one did. I also noticed that my pores really do look smaller for at least 24 hours and the last time I used it my blemishes were smaller and less red the next day. Obviously this mask might not work miracles for everyone, but I do recommend it over the QHMJM. Although, I do think QHMJM works better as an overnight spot treatment with a band-aid because it goes on so thick and therefore would be better at absorbing oil over a longer period of time.

Great product. I love the smell. Although I don't like black licorice, The sweet smell is so much better than the clay smell of the other masks I have used. This is the tightest holding mask I have ever tried. And because of that you would think that the mask dries you out but it doesn't. I have the healthiest glow after using it. It is one of the best masks I have used and I would definately repurchase. A little goes a long way with this stuff. One bottle should last for months.

This is really a great mask. I have combination skin. I hate licorice, but the smell really is worth it. It goes on black and dries to a gray color. It is kind of hard to wash off, but your skin will thank you for it. It doesn't dry out my cheeks, and the overall effect is less acne in my acne prone spots. Warning, this stuff will last forever, so you may want to make up some samples to trade on MUA if you want to go through a jar!

This is a pretty decent mask. It takes about 15 minutes to do. It makes your skin less oily, smoother and my face seemed cleaner. My blackheads seemed less dark as well. There is a faint licorice smell, but it is so mild that it doesn't bother me much, and I am not a big licorice fan. The price is bearable and the product is pretty good. A nice mask to alternate with my HG QHMJM. I have combo skin, and while this mattified my oily t-zone it didn't make my cheeks dry.

This mask is one of the best I've ever used. I used to use a special clay powder from India mixed with water, and since I had run out of that, I was looking for a packaged clay mask that would deliver similar results - smoother, softer, brighter-looking skin. This mask exceeded my expectations, and I like it even better than the clay powder I used to have.

This is the greatest mask I have ever used. It does more for my skin then getting a facial at the spa does. I am so happy I have discovered this. I will never stop using this. I recommend everyone try it. *it is a bit messy when taking it off, but, who cares its worth it*

I've been using this mask every Monday morning for about 5 weeks now and can tell a difference in my skin. If you don't like black licorice, then you'll be turned off by the smell, but I happen to be one of those people who eat all of the black ones first. :)
The mask goes on as a wet black. Once it dries to a grayish color (10-15 min), you rinse it off with water. My skin feels clean and fresh, but not dried out at all. I have a slightly oily T-zone and dry cheeks, so this really evens out my complexion for the day.
The jar is plastic, and I'm guessing that it'll last me about 8 months with weekly application.

I love this product. I loved how it cleaned my pores. It doesn't put tears in your eyes like the Neem and you can see when it drys it drys around the pores. Awesome stuff.

I'm very surprised I liked this :) The pumpkin didn't do much and the neem was a bit too harsh and dried my skin out. This product is a "detoxifying facial" according to the package, and is a new BBW product. I have to say I agree. My skin was much smoother, the blackheads on my nose and cheeks were lessened, and the blotchiness/redness was toned down quite a bit! It did bring some few small zits to the surface, but that is to be expected. It has licorice root extract in it, which explains the mild black jellybean smell :) I happen to like licorice. This looks very scary on because it is a deep charcoal gray color :) I like that when it dried it is a light green color, cause you can really tell if it is done or not. I have combo/sensitive skin and haven't had any problems. It does tingle a bit on but not nearly as bad as the pumpkin or neem. Also, I exfoliated the day before I used this so I expected my skin to be a bit dry but miraculously it wasn't. I think this wouldn't be a good mask to use the day of or day before a big event, but a week and a half or two before would be great! This costs $15 for 7.5 oz. The reason it gets a four and not a five are 1) I have only used it once so we will see how my skin continues to react to it and 2) The packaging is really cheap looking! Here are the ingredients:
Kaolin, Water(aqua), Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Carbon, Iron Oxides, Glycrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Xanthum Gum, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben.
