I do not use this as a definer. I tried once, and I looked like I had pink eye. For me, it is too light and a bit too mauve-ish to work as a liner. However, this is a beautiful crease color. I use natural or shell eye shadow over my lid with this in the crease. I have blue eyes and think it really makes them pop!

This shadow, as with most of Trish's other shadows, blends beautifully and easily.

The more I wear this the more I love it. I use it in the crease w/ shell all over the lid. It's a great color, but the reason why I buy Trish shadows is for their blendability and lasting power. Both Stila and NARS have great colors but doesn't last as long on my oily lids.

I originally bought this to line my eyes, but the color didn't work for me as liner, Praline makes a beautiful crease shadow however. It works very well with Deep Aubergine as the liner. It has some sparkle to it, but when you blend, the sparkle is not overdone. On me it looks like a light brownish plum-really nice and subtle. For reference, I have very light skin with yellow undertone and green eyes.

I'm so glad I bought this definer!!! I use it as a crease color and e/l. It gives a beautifull deep look. There is some slight shimmer in it. It's a rather complex color: brownish, mauvish. Perfect for my day work look.

When I look at Praline in the pan, it seems to look like MAC Trax's warmer cousin, almost. It's sort of a complex color, and when I look it at, it seems to be reddish, brownish, mauve-ish all at the same time: it's hard to describe. The SA recommended that I use it as a definer (powder eyeliner) slightly above a brown definer, and it works! I would not wear it as a definer all by itself. I have also mixed it with other shades for crease colors when I want a bolder look. All in all, I personally like this definer, but I'm glad I got advice about how to use it, or I probably would have returned it to Nordstrom.[Edited as of 12/15/04] I like this shadow more and more each day - it is super pretty and very versatile. I think it would look good on a wide range of skin tones.
