Ladies, save your money this is CRAP. It was my first heat protectant spray and I used it with my GHD straightener. It always made my hair feel stiff and look dull. I stopped using it and didn't use anything because I just thought that all heat protectants would be the same. After reading reviews on Tresemme I realise that they are not all created equal. I will be getting the Tresseme next and its a hell of a lot cheaper.

I do not care for this product hence why it has been sitting in my medicine cabinet for years. I recently ran out of my much beloved 3 day straight by frizz ease, and reached for this. I know this isn't meant to do the exact thing that 3 day straight, but I also didn't think it would leave my hair unmanageable, frizzy and sticky. Too bad, I have so much of this product left. I may possibly just use this as a hairspray as suggested by another MUA member. Unless this product works wonders as a hairspray, I don't see myself buying this again.

I have used this spray for over two months now and just now finished it off today. I like this hair protectant spray but I do not think I will buy it again. It made my hair thicker and healther but it didnt protect it. When I sprayed it on my hair it turned sort of to hair spray so I then had to keep brushing it out. I like that It didnt make my hair look gross. And I have long thickish hair.

I heat style my hair quite frequently and this thermal protector has been fantastic. After using it for the first time my hair felt smoother/stronger and less brittle. It's kind of pricey in Australia, but I do think it's completely worth using, especially if you use a straighter and blow dryer frequently.

I'm not sure why this product has such a low rating but I believe it's because people are using it wrong. I have a thick head of frizzy yet fine hair and this is my HG thermal spray. This product is great for blow outs and flat ironing but shouldn't be used alone!! What I do is towel dry my hair then apply an oil (such as the Moroccan oil), THEN apply this and proceed to blow dry then finally flat iron. Also you shouldn't apply this and then flat iron, it should be used before you blow dry or else you'll end up with dry sticky hair.

Love this spray! Really flattens and tames my coarse hair after blow- or airdrying and protects from heat styling. Makes my hair smell great too. I usually apply it to dry hair and then straighten it immediately with a flat iron.

This basically is hair spray. The girls at the beauty supply store said that a lot of people buy this. I've found a super use for it though, I use it when I use hot rollers. I spray each section and I have curls that stay pretty long. I think they should re-package this for that purpose. Ladies, try it before you curl, I think you might like it.

I love this product. I use a flat iron approximately 4 times a week and this keeps my hair smooth, shiny and touchable- without being tough or static-y. (I do have straight hair - I just use a flat iron for an extra-sleek and polished look. I guess this might not be a strong enough product for someone with really curly hair). It's not greasy and I like the smell, too.
EDIT: I still use this, and I like it, especially when I'm too lazy to use Farouk CHI's flat iron serum, but it doesn't protect the ends of my hair enough, especially compared to CHI. They end up being sort of stuck together and VERY dry by the end of the day. I do like this a lot for a styling product prior to the dryer, though - it finishes the blow-out quite well.

Well I have the say that so far it's been working very well. I can't really tell if it's protecting from the heat, but it IS helping with straitening and it isn't sticky at all. In fact, when I'm done straitening, my hair is REALLY soft and touchable. The smell is also a great bonus! Apparently it either works or doesn't with people, so it's best to try it from a friend or get your own to see how it is.
Edit.... Ehh it didn't seem to protect my hair at all, which is sort of a downer... Sure it smelt nice, but if it doesn't help with protection, I don't want it.

i am disappointed with this product,although i like the spray bottle it comes in,that is about it..i agree with another reviewer it actually feels like you straighten your hair using hairspray.i hate the sticky residue feeling of this.i purchased it in a hair care shop and asked the guy which he thought was best and he recommened this for me..its expensive and a horrible product.maybe it just doesnt suit my hair type as its seems to get great reviews and poor reviews.all in all i would never repurchase.

Delicious smelling (berry vanilla?? YUM!) and SO effective!! I use it even when I'm not straight-ironing for the protection against the blow-dryer. This made my hair extremely shiny and silky smooth. I am SO glad I found this stuff...amazing!

Eww this stuff made my hair so sticky and lifeless. When used in conjunction with my Chi flat iron, it seemed to suck all the moisture out of rather than protect my hair. My hair looked so dull. I was hoping for soft, silky straight hair but instead got stiff, dry hair with no shine to speak of. Never again...

It was advertised to do 2 things:
1. Protect
2. Keep the style
It did 2 very well. It really kept my hair in style much longer than without it. I usually straighten my hair and without the spray, usually by the end of the day, there are all sorts of kinks in it.
It does not do 1...basically, at all. In fact, it feels like I sprayed hairspray in my hair, then straightened it. It left it sticky and knotty, which...is not what I was going for. Will not repurchase

This is not bad at all. Back when i was really into CHI-ing my hair, this helped protect it from the flat iron and added smoothness and shine without weighing my fine hair down. You also only need a couple of sprays and you're set and so the bottle has lasted me a long time. It retails for $20CDN

I used this on my vacation to Miami where its very humid! I used this after Chi'ing my naturally curly frizzy hair to hold my hair in shape and it worked amazingly!! IT kept out the humidity , so I was using it sort of like a hairspray only on dry hair, on wet hair it works awful!

I'm surprised at the bad reviews on this product! I swear by it, especially when using hot rollers - it holds the curl perfectly as well as protecting. Has the great KMS berry-vanilla smell that a lot of the products have. Not quite as ideal for straightening - a bit too much 'hold', but okay if you don't use much.

I have thick coarse wavy slighty longer than shoulder length hair.The sa suggested this when she found out I use the straightening iron regularly. This would protect my hair from heat damage.
dont notice any protection. But when used my hair feels stuck together - there is not movement at all. Come to think of it,this works like hair spray! Not repurchasing cos even though it does "fix" your hairstyle, it makes my hair very greasy & i have to wash the next day. So its useless as a hairstyle fixer and a heat protector.

Unlike the previous reviewer before me, I cant STAND the smell! I think it is ok, not good not bad. I do notice that it makes my hair "sticky" but I just brush through it a few more times. I got this on sale at Regis for like 6 bucks which is probably why I'm not complaining :). I will use this up and then try something else.

Have only used this once so far, but it seemed to be a little too sticky; I sprayed it on damp hair prior to ironing with my CHI, and it made the iron snag my hair, rather than making my hair smoother. It smells good enough to drink though (the scent is described as "Berry Vanilla"), and the packaging is super-cool. Will give it another shot, but am not impressed thus far.
