beautiful sheer light-gold shade. I love Patina from Mac, but it takes too much work to build up. This shadow is not identical to patina, but it is a sheer version of it that glides on like butter. i like it as a warm highlight on my tan skin, or as an all over shade for an easy day look. it is expensive, but it's worth it.

I received this product today and I am amazed by it. It is definitely the most mlbb colour I have ever found so I will be wearing it every day as a base colour at the very least. Makes the eyes look clean and enchanting and definitely not muddy. I have a very neutral medium skin tone (NC37 in mac is closest). Goes great with every crease colour and fabulous on its own with a bright lip. I definitely recommend to all those with similar skin colouring.

It looks lovely on my skin (NC 30/35) and I feel comfortable wearing this color anywhere.

This is such a beautiful shadow. It's great all over the lid or in the crease with a lighter goldy color. It was really difficult to justify spending $20 + on a tan shadow, but the texture and color is amazing! And I do think you get a lot of product, which is great considering the price, but it's still pricey!

Got this today and I am jumping on the bandwagon with everyone to sing its praises. I am generally a fan of NARS with only a few exceptions and I have been wanting to buy a neutral everyday shade. The problem is, I have never been able to justify $22 for a shade like this. So I was torn...thought about Abysinnia, All About Eve (duo), Cyprus and a couple others in his line. I went with Cyprus and I'm very glad I did. It is similar to Chantecaille Topaz (discontinued, my HG gold) on me but a little darker. Like another reviewer stated, it can be built up to a darker version of gold. On some ladies I am sure this will work as a highlight. For me, it is too dark for that. I have it on today as an all-over with WnW Nutty in the crease and outer V. I really want to try it foiled to enhance the metallic nature of it. I said I will buy it again, but only time will tell. It will greatly depend on if I find another product with a similar color that is cheaper with a better consistency. Too soon to tell really, but I love the color, pigmentation and texture!

Cyrprus is a beautiful light golden bronze shade. I love NARS eyeshadows for their pigment and staying power. This shade can be used lightly to give you a light golden wash or applied more heavily to really bring out the bronze tones in it. It is a very beautiful, versatile shade.

Ignore Nars' description of this as "bronze" and don't look at the image on the website (which makes it look almost pink). Cyprus is a fairly neutral gold lid color that will work with virtuallly anything in the crease. Works as both a wash as well as a heavier more pronounced application. And while it's been in the Nars collection for years, it's a very current color - similar to many of the golden neutrals being introduced this season. Only complaints are of the general Nars nature: I've been having problems with Nars eye shadows crumbling in their cases, which this one did as well, and those sticky black rubber cases.....

I really like this eyeshadow. I have tanned yellow based skintone. This suits very well with my skin colour for the everyday look.

This e/s is the perfect highlight shade for me(NC44)
I use it with quite a light hand and it compliments my skintone so nice without looking to obvious!

This is gorgeous as a wash of color on the lid. As other reviewers have said, it's not bronze. It's more of a neutral beige tan color. I can put almost anything in the crease with it. It's very soft in formulation like other Nars singles. Love it.

This is another gorgeous, high-quality wearable neutral from NARS. Cyprus is described as a bronze on NARS's site which goes too far, I think--I'd describe it as a slightly cool gold, which is perfect for a cooltoned PPP like me. It has shimmer but it's very understated, and the texture is amazing--finely milled, buttery soft.
Because I have a problem with repeatedly buying dupes from different brands, I'll put this here for others with this malady: this color is very similar to MAC's Blonde's Gold pigment and Warming Trend e/s. However, it's paler than Warming Trend and less shimmery than either. And best of all, it's still available.

A very pretty sheer gold colour. sometimes i think it goes on a little too yellow-gold, but it is very pretty nonetheless. wears well, and the texture is exactly like all about eve duo. so soft it feels creamy. but the colour it is definitely dupable imo.

This is such a fabulous every day colour and looks beautiful for going out when teamed with NARS Galapagos. It is a semi frosted Champagne colour and pretty much suits any complexion. It is hard to fail with this colour as it is so easy to blend and you can use it very lightly if you just want a subtle wash of colour. I love how it isn't too frosty, and you don't get much fallout either.

I love the cyprus colour. I wear it pretty much everyday all over my lid and on lower smudge line. Its gold enough to make my blue eyes pop, but also looks very subtle and not to overdone. It has a very metallic look when applied heavily which is also gorgeous.
This is my most favourite eyeshadow of all time - will purchase again and again.

My lovey NARS MA suggested this to me when I told her I was looking for an everyday neutral/warm. This totally fits the bill! Its a perfect, slightly shimmery, nude/golden shade that is so rich and creamy to apply. (though that also kind of goes against this e/s as mine is in the verge of crumbling/breaking. I don't think I dropped it..just from everyday wear and tear in my mu bag.) It blends nicely into my MAC NC30-35 skin tone. This is my overall go to e/s color these days!!

This is the PERFECT neutral for eye lids! In the compact, it looked like it was going to be too white when I first put it on, but for my fair skin tone, it works perfectly as an eyeshadow basic! It's like a cream with a very small hint of shimmer/gold, so it really brightens up my eyes! I am devoted to NARS, so while this shade can be easily duplicated, I wouldn't risk it because of NARS' high-quality pigmentations. I will definitely be using this on a daily basis!

This is a pretty golden beige color, that is a great neutral on my light brown/tan skin. I usually wear it as a wash all over, with black liner, and then black mascara, and it's a great neutral look, that works well for work and can translate into evening. This is not chalky, blends easily, and is very long lasting without primer, although I usually wear a neutral MAC paintpot underneath to help it last. What I like most about this color and all NARS colors though, is that it's very unique, it's not your typical gold shadow, it's not your typical beige, it's very hard to dupe, and when shelling out 20+ dollars per shadow, a truly unique color makes the purchase worth it.

I would call this colour an antique gold. Its quite a dark gold I find but I love it. Its got a bit of a metallic sheen to it & looks good by itself or I also like to pair it with NARS glitter pencil in Area.

Great neutral shimmer that looks good on its own or as a base, only annoys me that it seems to crumble easily, so I might need to replace it sooner than later.

I purchased Nars Cyprus because I wanted a golden-toned nude shimmer shade (I'm MMM/GGG, with yellow and red tones). I was especially attracted to this one in the store because it appeared to be a rich but understated sandy, cool gold.
But when I ordered my own, the color turned out to be frosty and one-dimensional on my skintone. I think Cyprus just has a bit too much silvery/white pigment in the formula. The texture was very smooth, but alas -- I could not justify keeping this blah-on-me color for the price.
I might try Cairo next because it's supposed to be slightly deeper.
