I think this product is a harsh reminder of what adversising can do to us poor consumers.

I bought this lipgloss when I saw it on for like, 90% off the original price.

Overall, I've used them up, but the quality is no better than a cheap drugstore brand or even what I would expect to find in a dollar store.

I didn't notice any plumping quailities, nor was the color anything special.

This product is just ok, but I honestly this it is atrocious that Jessica thought she could charge such prices for lousy products with her name on them. Shame on her. No wonder her career is over.

Bought this when it was on sale at Sephora. It gives the lips no colour, tastes/ smells artificial, and it burns.

Unfortunately I've succumbed to this gloss as well. I have just about all the others from the Dessert Treats line (drugstore) and like most of them but snatched some of these up at the $5 Sephora price. The smell and feel are just lovely (vanilla coconut) and it does seem to make lips appear a little bit fuller. I knocked off two lippies because there is no color payoff on this at all. Gals with pigmented lips or medium to dark coloring would be very disappointed since the tube looks like nice nude gloss. It's just basically clear.

I actually had a good laugh when I saw Jessica's products at Marshalls, I think thats pretty funny seeing as though they were being pushed at full price at Sephora only a year ago, and they have slowly been getting discounted, until they disappeared totally from Sephora and are now at Marshalls. I originally bought the Spray Mist at Sephora in 05 and always wanted more products but decided they were too expensive. So i waited, so yesterday when I saw them at Marshalls, i picked up the Creamy Lip Gloss. I was so excited as I put it on. Then I looked in the mirror and saw that there was absolutely no color on them. This gloss is colorless and lasts for about 10 min. Complete and total waste of money. i suppose Jessica's products would have had a longer run had they been a much higher quality and a lower price, but I guess no one thought quality would matter? I had no problems with any of the scents, I thought they were great. Its just the quality of the products were horrible. I guess the geniuses at "Dessert Beauty" didn't care about quality.

This shade is a sheer glossy nude color with a caramel-y sort of taste. Not really plumping, but it tastes damn good.

I love vanilla scented stuff, so this stuff was pleasant as far smell goes. The consistency was nice, and the shade was nice w/o being obvious. I liked the little minty-ish tingle at the beginning. You get what you paid for.

This was my first and last Dessert Beauty gloss. I have tried the Dessert Treats Sweettalk mini set, and I wasn't impressed with that either, but the Sephora sale got the best of me, and I thought I'd try it for $10. What a waste of money. This is nothing more than a clear gloss with no moisturizing properties, which I at least expect from a non-pigmented lip product. There's nothing redeemable about except the packaging which is kinda' cute. I wasn't even impressed with the smell, which I was expecting to be vanilla-ish and creamy. All I smelled was milk. Sent it back, will listen to the productville reviews next time!

I am in a minority here, I kinda like this stuff. I already have plump, pigmented lips, so the plumping action adds an extra touch of sexiness. The color is barely noticeable, nor is the shimmer, but it is super shiny and super smooth. It has great staying power, and is very kissable (I didn't have to re-apply after testing out the kissable factor). As others mentioned, because of the plumping ingredients, it does make your lips very numb for a few minutes after you put it on. The scent is nice, but I thought it would smell more like the other creamy dessert products. Glad I got this on Clearance at Sephora, I would never pay 21 bucks for this stuff, I still think that the 10 bucks I paid was too much. Higher end lip glosses (MAC, Bourjois) go for 14-16 bucks and are waaaaaaaaay better, they may not have a flavor, but at least they show up!

I love this stuff. It really plumps your lips and smells amazing. And not to mention it tastes wonderful. Not the best choice if you are looking for color though. It's a bit weak in that department.

Not in love with this gloss. It does not stay on well, but I am giving 2 lippies because I love the color.

This had absolutely no color in it. A big waste of money. The smell/scent is ok but avoid this.

creamy is delicious. i don't care that i have to reapply it all day because i love reapplying it. it makes my lips all tingly and smells amazing, like vanilla and steamed milk.

I really liked this product because it was sheer and looked very nice on in addition to the wonderful tasty flavor. Still, I will agree with the other reviews in that it doesn't have any staying power- You have to keep applying all day and I do not like that aspect at all. For that reason, I probably will not re-purchase.

I love this gloss, it looks FABULOUS on me - I'm fair-skinned with dark hair and eyes, and I'm OBSESSED with black eyeliner - so with a simple nude lip, it looks dramatic without looking trashy.

Vanilla is my favorite scent and so I LOVE "Creamy." I have it in "Juicy" too and adore them both.

However, for people who like the taste without the price tag, Jessica Simpson also has "Dessert Treats" ( which is $3 cheaper at Walgreens than Sephora ) that contains lip gloss in other flavors ( Banana Split, Butterscotch Toffee, etc. ) I haven't tried the "Treats" lip glosses, but I figure I'd post it here since a lot of people were talking about the price.

It smells and tastes good and all but it's way over priced for what it is, you could get the same stuff from bonne bell for way cheaper. But then again it is jessica simpsons line, if your into that sorta thing.

I didn't buy this product (which should tell you something) but I tried it on in sephora. Firstly, the color was ok, not very noticable even on my PPP face, it does taste pretty yummy which was nice. I'm not sure I would be willing to pay 20 bucks for a tasty lip gloss though-- unless it was for a specific special occassion or if my boyfriend really liked it. My tongue felt a little numb about 10 minutes after I put it on though, disturbingly enough. Did anyone else notice this or was my ming playing tricks on me?

This smells very sweet. Sweetness is all I can detect but I am assuming they were going for a vanilla cake batter scent. Its not an unplesant smell though. Creamy does not have a whole lot of pigment...its lighter and more sheer than it looks in the tube. But I really like it. Its a sexy looking nude that works next to my PPP skin (most nudes dont). It definatly makes my lips look bigger (either just from the color or the plumping stuff in the gloss), which I love. I would re-purchase even though I think the price is to steep.

while this product doesnt have good staying power, it looks good on all skin tones. it smells sweet and sugary and while its $21 i think its a nice treat. i suggest ordering off qvc (has reduced prices) or going to your nearest sephora to avoid the outrageous shipping costs of dessertbeauty.com. if u order direct, u will pay a minimum of 10 dollars shipping. i see that people have problems with packaging but that hasent happened yet. ill keep u updated. i got the pillow talk sampler set so i got a little tube of creamy, juicy, dreamy, lucious, slip, and slide! score! if u have a question about any dessert products just send me a question on my makeup alley mail!
