I like this fragrance - it's very fresh and slightly flowery. But, for me this is not a must have, there is nothing that stands out about it as memorable. Yet, it's airy and very light, so if you are a lover of light fragrances, or have a sensitivity to stronger scents, this might be the one you will love. It's feminine and lovely but unfortunately it had no staying power on me... This is not something I would buy, at least not for myself. All I can say is try it and see if it works for you...

I bought it during the winter, and thought the scent was too sharp. Now it's summer time (well almost), I tried it again today. Suprisely, I liked it. It kinda remind of ocean and sandy beach. Not my favorite, but nevertheless it is a good refreshing summer fragrance. Would be perfect for a easy breezy summer vacation.

I think I need some efferescence in my frags, and this one seems to have none at all. It makes me think of Etro's Heliotrope even though it has no heliotrope note: very, very sweet with (now this sounds weird) a fuzzy edge to it. It's opaque vs. transparent; soft vs. sharp; powdered sugar vs. grain sugar; cloudy vs. clear. It also reminds me of Champs Elysees, even though there's no note match except the rose and LOV. The scent maybe differs the most from any other scent I own. If you love Capri, though, you're very lucky. The bottle is adorable and the poem on its front is touching.
Capri:
Top notes: Lemon, Black Current Buds, Water Lily
Middle notes: Italian Jasmine, Muguet, White Osmanthus Petals
Bottom notes: Bois de Rose, Island Tree Moss, Warm Musk

From the insert:
Adrienne Vittadini Capri is a luminous uplifting fragrance. The crisp bright top note blooms with the Water Lily, Black Currant Buds and the signature Limoncello Accord, which blends Lemon Peel with effervescent Tonic Water. The hear of the fragrance is a lush bouquet of Italian Jasmine, Muguet, and White Osmanthus Petals. The background landscape of Capri is captured in the accord of Bois de Rose, Island Tree Moss and Warm Musk.

Okay, I smell the Black Currant all the way through and into the dry down. I also get the bright florals and musk and it smells quite 'clean'. Actually it smells quite tropical, which was a surprise; there is a light creamy feel and I'd swear there was a coconut note somewhere in here, which I don't care for. Florals mixed with coconut creaminess isn't something I usually go for, but it has worked in other creations - like Mahora, Sand & Sables or other beach/tropic inspired scents infused with tuberose or gardenia. Here it doesn't, imo, but maybe that's because I wasn't expecting from the notes/composition listed. Nah, I just don't like it.
Yep, I don't really care for this one at all, as the 'clean' quality is more in the vein of a 'Fresh Breeze' ( or insert the latest generic industrial fragrance) toilet cleaner, than a refreshing soap.

Capri is a very sheer floral with a lot of musk. On me Capri smelled like a very very weak Fendi. Something about this one bothers my allergies. As soon as I spray it on I start to sneeze. While I couldn't imagine Capri really being strong enough to offend someone, I couldn't see it being a scent to be really excited about. If you like Capri it can be found sometimes at TJ Maxx for $17.99 for a 3 pc. set; includes the purse spray, full size and body lotion. The style of the packaging and the bottle is simple and cute.

Based on everyone's previous descriptions, this would have been the perfect fragrance for me. I'm sooo disappointed! After lemming for ages, I spotted it at my local Winner's and scrambled to sample it. A sharp, marine-like scent, seemingly one single note, that was to my nose closely reminiscent of bathroom cleaner. And of course, once I got that thought into my head, it just wouldn't leave. An unoriginal scent, something I just wouldn't want to wear.

I found this to be the best of all Adrienne Vittadini scents, but that's not saying much. It's fruity and somewhat of a clean scent, but rather dull and uninspiring. Cute bottle though.

So far I like this. I bought it at TJMaxx for $7.99 so maybe it is discontinued?
I may leave this in the fridge and spray it on for a refreshing mist for hot days.
The bottle is very pretty - frosted glass with a poem:
"Memorie di Capri
the sea and shore
become one,
spirited and free:
A lifetime of
sunshine and beauty."
However, the cap on the bottle is hard to take on and off - I have a feeling I may just lose the cap at some point...
The scent itself is sort of a light-ish marine fruity slightly tropical scent. I'll have to wear it through a whole summer day to see how it wears in the heat.

I love this bottle. The scent so reminds me of Biolage hair products -- a fragrance I adore. People who do not like fruit fragrances should not buy this. It smells more like the tropics than Capri.

I love this for the spring and it will probably be my HG for summertime too. Refreshing and happy, and a fragrance unlike any other I've ever smelled. I want to say it's marine, but it's not, I want to say lemony but I don't find it so even with its limoncello top note (which I can't really smell AND i've made my own Limoncello before so go figure). A distinctive smell that is semi-tropical, very breezy and a tad bit sweet. Reminds me of drinking a Mai Tai in fact. Wonderful. I am giving it 5 lippies.

Smells like a refreshing hot weather fruit drink. Not a cold weather perfume but I am looking forward to wearing this in the spring. Fruity, uplifting, fresh and just a little different. Thanks MUA for recommending this one. Would have never run across it on my own.

This is amazing! At first the lemon note makes a brief, bitter appearance, then a calm, breezy fragrance emerges. If you are a fan of marine scents, you will probably like this. One of my new favorites.

found mine at Marshall's for $9.99!!! This is EVERYTHING I wanted Cacharel's Amor Amor to be.
The bright fruitiness stays and it is so refreshing. I will be wearing this a lot spring thru summer The only bad thing about this was the bottle. The lid (on the 1 ounce EDP) was so hard to remove and replace. Yum Yum.

I ordered Capri unsniffed from fragrancenet when I was ordering a fragrance for DH. I was just intrigued by the name and the bottle! What a delight to discover that I love it, and it surely is not my usual incensy-woodsy style.
Notes: Top, limoncello accord (from slivers of lemon only from the isle of Capri) blended with effervescent tonic, blackcurrant buds and water lily notes.
Mid: a lush bouquet of Italian jasmine, muguet, and white osmanthus petals.
Base: bois de rose, island tree moss, warm musk.
This fragrance starts out crisp and sparkling, you can almost sense the effervescence. The florals develop slowly and nothing seems to dominate or overpower. And then the base! The musk is hardly present on me, just the rosewood and moss.
Here's the best part: Inside the box (100ml) was a small silver purse spray (a quarter-ounce!) that was not mentioned when I bought it!
Sometimes the unsniffed turns out to be a new fragrance love!
I would give this five lipsticks but I have to reserve the ultimate rating for those few ultimate fragrances. This does, however, come very close.
