This is the very first CD item I have tried. I was expecting a lot from it, and was not 100% pleased. The taste is horrid and it is somewhat sticky. But the shine and glitter is off the wall amazing (except for the gritty feeling)! I don't think I will re-purchase this, but it is nice to have in my collection I suppose.
Update: I had this at 4 stars, but went down to 1 star for this reason:
No more than 3 hours after trying this lip gloss, I got a nasty sore bump on my lip (like a pimple, but worse). I never break out on my lips...lame :(

Sorbet Meringue is one of my most favorite of lip gloss. Elegant when worn alone because the sun hits it like an optical illusion of diamond dust crushed and dabbed on the lips. The high quality micro illuminating glitter flecks are great and can be worn for any scene uptown, down town, clubbing or casual or any time of day or with a little makeup and a signature fragrance with the hair up. The glitter doesn't fall out and on the lips and it's not tacky. Highlights and Sunshine. A little goes a long way. With any glitter product no matter how well the glitter is blended into the texture. I always suggest 2 powerful nude and flesh tone lip liners to double line the lips.

So I was able to find this on Ebizzle as I wanted to find out about this - usually when I see "glitter galore," or such descriptions, that's a red flag for me to check it out since I love glitter, shimmer, sparkles... Now this is all that and a box o' godiva choc =D All it took was literally a lil dab right in the middle of my bottom lip and it gave my lips a beautiful, shiny, frosted, shimmery, sparkly fabulousness. The staying power is quite impressive too, through drinks, eating + I'm a habitual lip licker - most of it stayed even through that. It is a just a tad sticky, which I like, even though my hair can get caught up in it, because that makes for better staying power. Be forewarned, even though there's no big obnoxious chunks of cheap glitter, it is still VERY sparkly, frosty, shimmery - so if you're not into that I wouldn't go for it, but if you're a sparkle queen like me, then go search this out - it's d/c'd, but you can still find it here and there on Ebizzle. I found a backup the very day I got this one and snatched it up right away!

I recieved this as an extra in swap from a lovely girl here on MUA and I have to say, this is nice, but not amazing or spectacular. It goes on pretty sticky but that goes away a little once it sinks into your lips a bit more and starts to moisturize slightly. The lasting power is decent for a lipgloss and the scent is amazing. The only down side is that the color is not unique at all and could easily be found at the drugstore for a quarter of the price and similar formulation (if not better). It's very silvery and jam packed full of glitter w/ a bit of multicolored glitter added in. I think the glitter could've been a little bit finer, not as big (but this gloss isn't chunky in any way, so I guess if you like big pieces of glitter, you'll love this gloss), and the multicolored glitter bits could've been skipped over. It would've been better if they focused on one color of glitter in addition to the white glitters, so this gloss doesn't look so generic. I love pairing this gloss with a red or coral lip because it doesn't make them overwelming like adding a red/coral gloss over it would. For paler lipsticks though, especially with nudes, this will make it look a litter to silvery and metallic. Overall, I would repurchase this line of glosses if I find a color I love. It's a good value since you get a TON of product. But for this specific color, I will not repurchase since I can probably find about 10 drugstore or lower end dupes for it.

It's very glitterly and spark. But the base of this gloss is transparent that I don't like

This is like diamond dust jam packed in a tube with a tad of multi-colored sparkles. It has a slant tip applicator. Very pretty! Would be a 5 if it didnt have the colored sparkles in it. I just like the diamond dues on it's own.

I love this lipgloss. There is a nice amount of product and I even had lost it in the bottom of my makeup stash for a while and when I found it I was so happy, literally jumping up and down. I like to put a dab over my Electric Mauve Dior Addict lipstick (or over ANYTHING I want sparkly) and this thin layer of sparkly shimmery yummyness is so gorgeous. Not for everyone, but that means more for me...haha... love this stuff <3 The new packaging sucks, it is about 1/2 the amount. tsk tsk dior...

I received a deluxe sample of this from Sephora a bit ago, and for a glittery clear gloss, it's quite pretty and isn't over the top. The scent is nice, and though it's a bit sticky it has decent lasting power. It isn't especially unique and I wish that Dior would stop using toxic ingredients in all of their products, but this is still a nice gloss.

This was my FIRST make up purchase EVER that I made while I was in some airport at Vienna in August 2005. All Sorbet Meringue did was add a lot of shimmer and have a pleasantly sweet smell. It didn't even go on very smoothly! I paired this lip gloss with VL's Lip gloss in Venezia Red, and I received SO many compliments when I combined those 2 together.

I think this particular DiorKiss lip gloss is really fun! It's dramatic, eye-catching, and funky. Sorbet Meringue is a clear gloss with bits of multi-colored glitter. Now when I say glitter, I mean GLITTER!! Just a 'normal' lip-gloss dosage of this DiorKiss, and you got yourself a disco-ball on your lips! But if you use it in small, rationed quantities, then you can get a beautiful shimmer that catches everyone's eye...its a product that can be OTT alone, or used along with another lippie, to enhance the look, and add a dynamic effect. The gloss consistency isn't too sticky or tacky, but smooth and hydrating...And the best part of all?-- smells like lemon meringue pie...mmmmmm....

I have this in Sorbet Meringue, I would not buy this color for myself but I got this as a gift from Dior, so I really shouldn't look a gift lipgloss in the mouth, so to speak, but I don't like this one. :-(
Color is clear with way too many silvery glittery sparkles. Major glitter overload. It smells really yummy, like lemonade, but it's so gritty, I hate the feel of it on my lips. Maybe I'll re-gift it to my 14 year old daughter, if she'll take it... I detected no plumping effect on me, but I think that's due to the fact that I could not tolerate leaving it on long enough on my lips. The grittiness is nasty. Too bad. May try some of the other colors to see if they are not as gritty/glittery. Would not purchase the clear one...

I picked this for my free sample from Sephora. It was weird. The only way I could describe it is imagine taking Elmers glue and real craft glitter, mixing them together on a plate, then you bend over, kiss the plate and quickly look in the mirror, say, "eeeew" as you wipe it off....and you realize it doesn't really want to come off. You manage to get it off but later notice stray specks of glitter that hopefully will come off when your skin does its natural renewal process. I tried giving it to my 16 year old...I can't even give this stuff away.

it smells like lemonade. the glitter IS TOO MUCH. after i purchased this gloss i applied it without looking at myself on the train. i wondered why people are STARING at me. when i got home and looked in the mirror it looked like i was eating GLITTER. a lot OF GLITTER. frosty silverish gliter. it felt sticky and grainy on the lips. good thing about this product is that it has a good lasting power. but its WAY too much GLITTER.
did i mention it has a lot of GLITTER? lol.

Very pretty summer color! Goes on clear/pale pink with tons of sparkles. Lasts just as long as the mac glosses but doesn't dry my lips out like mac. It has a hint of vanila and lemon flavor that doesn't bother me at all.

This is one of the staying-est lip glosses I've ever had! A bit thick-feeling. Very glittery - not for, say, the workplace. Lots of product, I wonder if anyone's ever really used all of theirs, lol. But nice smell, too.

Thank goodness, I got this as a freebie. I naively put it on covering my lips, like actual lip gloss. HOLY MOLY. I felt like I was putting gooey sandy sludge all over my lips. This gloss is super sparkly, and you can feel the sparkles on your lips. Ugh. Maybe it's supposed to be an exfoliator? Hrm. Anyhow, it was also pretty thick and sticky.
I read the reviews on here saying to put just a DAB over a lipstick, so I tried that. MUCH better. Just a tiny dab on my lower lip and I got a little shine and sparkle.
Also, this gloss is pretty tasty.
So, 3 stars, it looks nice used VERY lightly. But points off for stickiness and grittiness.
AND, it's expensive.
If you don't need the shimmer and just want a glossy top coat, Wet n Wild clear lipgloss works wonders, imo.

Is white with tons of multicolor sparkles. IT DOESN"T GO ON CLEAR - it makes ur lips shiny pale pink w/ tons of color. THIS IS NOT MEANT FOR THE NATURAL LOOK. I couldn't wear this in the day, but I would wear at the club. This is a unique color so I might buy again. THe other colors not really, why pay $19 for a gloss when u can get another exact one for $2? click continued to see picture.
