I had to go and get the can to double-check to make sure I was looking at reviews of the right product. Because I seriously don't get the descriptions I am reading of "great hold" and "smells great". I can spray and spray this stuff on, and it's like I put nothing at all on. My hair just goes limp and flat and certainly doesn't hold it's style at all. And it smells hideous, it remind me of mosquito repellant. Hideous, overpriced stuff. I bought two Redken hairsprays at the same time to try,and I hate them both. I have bought many, many drugstore brands that have performed much better for me. To me, this was a complete fail.

This is the only hairspray I use, it offers a light application but impressive hold (for a hairspray so light). Love this stuff. Also like the Redken straightening balm I bought a tester of.

I recently purchased two full size cans on sale. Gives my long curly hair a great hold that lasts throughout the day and is not heavy. Love it!!

My absolute favorite hairspray. I have two full 365ml bottles sitting in my closet as I am still making my way through my current can. My mom knows I love redken products and got them for me a couple weeks ago when they were on sale back home.

I like that it is very light but still keeps my hair held. I curl my hair from time to time and I loved that it held my curls without weighing them down. I have used other hairsprays but found they were too heavy and just pulled the curl out of my hair.

I love love love this product!

I got the travel size from Ulta to give this a go and I am pretty happy with it. I used the whole can first before I wrote a review so I knew exactly how it would work.

This is a firm hold, fast drying spray that builds decent volume and doesn't flake or get heavy. I like it on my hair because it is a little more fine and it has never weighed it down even when I used more than I probably should have.

It smells fine, like hairspray, but I didn't anticipate miracles with that. I just wanted a replacement for a Sebastian spray I had that smelled like cough syrup.

Love this stuff! As a former dancer, I still get into the habit of slicking my hair back with tons of gel and hairspray (I call it "the helmet") so needless to say, I can't wear a ponytail without hairspray. Enter this wonderful stuff! It doesn't give me a "helmet" like most hairsprays and gels do, and it doesn't flake, which is a major gripe I have with hairsprays. I only knocked a lippie off because it smells when you first spray it...you know, that typical hairspray smell. I hate that! But it soon fades and I'm left with a clean, smooth ponytail, which makes it all worth it. I'm definitely repurchasing!

This is a great product. I've got shoulder length, medium thickness, curly hair. I use this after I've applied a curl cream and have my hair the way I'd like it to look. The instant dryness really helps prevent my curls from sagging or losing shape. The key to avoiding a gunky feeling is to make sure you're holding the can far enough away from your head before spraying. If you spray too close it adds too much product and sort of defeats the whole purpose of the "instant dry" thing. I have bangs and I don't recommend it for those because it overwhelms them a bit, but for the whole head it's fabulous. I haven't noticed any flaking but I don't really mess with my hair very much after I've applied it, so maybe that's why. I even like the nozzle. The locking mechanism is perfect for me since I'm notorious for losing the caps for things. -m-

My hair is very short and very fine and once styled it tends to drop flat fairly quickly. This spray makes my hair quite stiff and immovable. Some people might not like the product, but if this is what you are after in an instantly drying spray, you should be quite satisfied.

I have fine but thick straight, healthy hair and this makes my hair appear dull and I have noticed sometimes it flakes. It also tends to get my hair quite stiff.

I bought this last week and I use it everyday now. I love it so much, I don't even use my Bumble & Bumble hairspray (the pink bottle) anymore. I use this instead of hairspray, per the suggestion of the cool girl at pursebuzz.com/hair. I have fine hair and a lot of it, so I give off the illusion of having thick hair, not so much. Normally I hairspray the heck out of my hair and it looks good before I leave the house but by the time I get home, it's flat & frizzy. I did not encounter these problems with Quick Dry Finishing Spray. If you spray too much, your hair will have this weird tacky feeling. My hair maintained "volume" when I got to work and even gave me great next day hair better, what is my ultimate achievement because I'm lazy and don't like to spend too much time on my hair.

Good to use after you blowdry your hair or before curling it.

The only thing I don't like is the nozzle lock thing. I traveled with it and it held up ok but it would be nice to have a cap for it.

This is a very interesting product for me since it literally dries the instant it makes contact with my hair, so I'd better be darn sure I'm done styling before I spray. Overall a very effective spray, a bit too strong for my taste but does well if you are putting your hair up and need to give it a good shellacking. I don't know if I'd use this on hair worn down, however.

I LOVE this stuff!!! Dries quick (SUPER QUICK), isn't sticky or stiff, & smells good. I just cut bangs in my hair & I spray some of this on my fingers & use it to piece them out. Love how u can "lock" the spray part.
EDIT: Still love this stuff!!! The only bad thing is the spray clogs up a lot:(

A very, very strong holding spray. It dries very quick. My only beef is that it is too strong. I have tried to put it on lightly, and even then it feels like I have plastered my hair. I have very thick naturally curly hair, so I was looking for something that would give me all day hold. This definitely does that- in fact so much so that if I apply it anytime before my "do" is completely finished, I won't be able to redo a section of hair. I am now only using this for times when I have pulled my hair back and need something super strong to hold stray hairs down, or if I wear my hair up. For any of you ladies that need a super strong spray to hold an updo in place, look no further. Overall, I would buy this again, but since I won't be using it every day, it may be awhile before I need another can. I have also noticed that when it is humid outside, the spray seems to get gooey on my hair. And if you get caught in the rain- forget it, you may as well count on sticky wet clumpy hair even after it has dried again.

This didn't work on me, sadly. I gave it a neutral 3 lippies because it does dry quick and because it provides a nice hold. The reason I won't purchase is that it flakes off easily (I have brunette/reddish hair) and the flakes are really noticeable (huge no no). I also don't care for the strong chemically smell. Although I should add I got a small size with the free Marie Claire coupon, so I don't know if that affects the formula. But the flake effect alone will keep me away.

This is my all-time favorite hairspray. I use it on my roots to give a little lift and also as an all-over finishing spray. I have a short style with a lot of fine-textured hair and need a spray that provides a decent amount of hold. This product does just that and more. It provides great flexible hold that lasts most of the day, without the tacky stickiness of many other strong hold sprays and no annoying, cloying scent. Also, as a nice bonus, it gives a slight sheen to my light brown highlighted hair.

This is a really good hairspray, as it dries quickly and is good for styles you don't want to have to wait for spray to dry. What I don't like about this, is that since it is a quickdry formula, it tends to "coat" the hair with something that feels powdery, and therefore, makes the hair lack some shine. When I had blonde hair, I loved this product. As a brunette, I won't use it.

I agree with people in this review that this hairspray is awesome. If you like Sebstian's Shaper HS, you'll like this even better cause it doesn't smell as bad. It's light and dry yet it doesn't leave your hair crunchy or dry or dull. But it is moist enough (unlike Sebastian's HS) that you can use your fingers to mold rebellious pieces of hair into place. I have used it for regular styling hold when I have my hair down, or to control the pieces of hair that stick out on the tops of my head or on my bun (bec. my stylist did a crappy job of cutting my hair). Just love this. I wish they made travel sizes bec. the bottle is just so darn long to carry around ...Oh, and it has a nice even spray.

I love this stuff. I had always had trouble styling my hair because it's so fine and slippery. Anything I did to it would undo itself in less than half an hour. All the hairsprays I used made my hair crunchy. This allows me to finally style my hair and expect it to last the whole day. And I can still run my fingers through it! I highly recommend this.

I can't remember the last time I used hairspray. It's literally been years. I think jr. high was the last time I used any spray of this nature. Anyway, I got the travel size kit of Redken's All Soft trio and this came with it. I was just about to chuck it, but then I decided to give it a whirl- just for giggles. I must say, I was not disappointed. I sprayed it on lightly but it gave a nice, flexible hold. I loved how fast it dried, no wet spots! I remember that hairspray used to do that to my hair back in the day. I'm not going to become a hairspray junkie or anything, since I don't dig the prim Bree Van De Kamp look the spray gave me. Gotta keep my edge, you know?
