This is a very vibrant yellow/gold color but I CANNOT live without it. This is my number 1 must have but I will say that I love my bold bright colors which is why MAC is the only one for me lol. I use this mainly as an accent color but it goes with pretty much everything and put a lil of it on the inner lid near your tear ducts ...it makes blue eyes POP. LOVE it

i am pale NW20 with blue eyes, i love and always wear gold eyeshadows, i started with melon pigment from mac as this one looked scary but on its actually more flattering even tho asistant told me melon would go better with blue eyes, i then went on to goldmine which i didnt like at first cause thought it too yellow but then i started to notice how it made the blue of my eyes stand out and actually looked quite natural, better than melon i thought this gave me idea to get golden lemon and glad i did, its really flattering HOWEVER it is flaky and has more fall out than melon but if youre careful its not a problem, and some mac lustres are worse fallout wise, bottle will last forever and is good value considering amount you get, but its easy to spill , im thinking of putting it in the maxfactor dip in eyeshadow containers best packaging invention ever for a loose eyeshadow!

Golden Lemon is a bright yellow. This pigment has bigger flakes compared to other pigments. This pigment is best applied wet so that you get less fallout. It looks great with other bright pigments.

I recently purchased this pigment, and it is so gorgeous!! I was hesitant to purchase this because it looked so bright and yellow in the container, but I went ahead and tried it anyway. I'm SO glad I did! This pigment really brightens up my look and makes my brown eyes pop. If your looking for a true gold though, this isn't it. It's definitely more on the yellow side, but not TOO yellow. It has just enough gold in it to make it wearable. I love it, and I will probably repurchase, even though it will take me forever to run out :)

This is a very sparkly yellow pigment with just enough gold to keep it from being crayon yellow when you wear it. I was hesitant about wearing this at first because it's very shimmery and yellow in the jar. I bit the bullet earlier this week and wore it in the crease with Mauvement pigment on the lid. It really gave that basic look a wow factor. After loving that look so much, I wore it on the lid with Forever Green powerpoint pencil on the upper lash line. More wow factor! My only complaint is the amount of fallout. Pressing instead of sweeping it on helps to minimize this.

I received a sample of this and it is definitely very pretty. It is more yellow than gold though. It is very sparkly and frosty. I have worn this during the day but I think it might be better for night wear because of the shimmer. I probably wouldn't buy a full size jar though because I like more bold colors and I am not really a pigment person anyway. Too much shimmer and fall out for me.

Golden Lemon is *gorgeous*!! The name IMO, is slightly misleading, because it' not quite "gold", but more yellow than gold. That said, it's a softer yellow that's surprisingly wearable, and applied sheerly, looks incredible on! I love to dab this slightly damp on the lid, and it combines with a myriad of deeper "crease" shades. It looks equally awesome with deeper greens, plums, burgundy, purple, navy or my favorite .. charcoal (Typographic + Golden Lemon = YUM!!!). The only negative of this pigment is the texture isn't quite as smooth as some of the other pigments MAC has put out, but the color makes up for it. All in all, one of the few I have a full size of, although I can't see actually finishing up a pigment in this lifetime!

I only have a sample of this pigment, but I really must buy a full size. Golden Lemon is a shimmery, slightly frosted golden yellow shade. Looks metallic when foiled. Lasts hours when applied over primer. As someone else stated, there is a lot of fallout, but if you pack instead of sweep, it's reduced. I'm pale - NW15 - and this still looks lovely on my skintone. One of my favorite looks: Golden Lemon on the inner 1/3 lid, Paradisco on the middle 1/3, and Fuschia pigment on the outer 1/3.

GOLDEN LEMON! omg, it took me forever to recall the name for this. I transferred a little of this into a little sample container to use (to avoid contamination of the entire original container) so the name isn't with me right now.

I was originally going to get this, but then my friend persuaded me to get the Melon pigment instead because she thought this one was a bit scary looking. I did listen to her and got the Melon instead, but being the stubborn old me I got this too afterward.

To be honest, like another reviewer has said, this isn't really a "gold" color. It's really really yellow, almost like the NYX loose eyeshadow in Canary but with more glitter.

Although it's not really gold or what I was looking for, I still like this pigment because I can use it when I'm feeling really crazy and want something more bold. I think so long as I don't apply this up to my eyebrows I'll still look like a girl rather than a tranny.

Will I repurchase? Nah. It's going to take me forever to finish this and when I do, I'd like to try out another gold instead.

Golden Lemon reminds me quite a bit of Rock It Yellow Pigment, except golden lemon has a lot of sparkle. For those looking for a real gold color, you are looking in the wrong place, this is a pure primary yellow color, nothing golden about this. It is an amazing color for either extremely bright look, or a golden glow.

It is a totally beautiful pigment that works well with any other yellow, orange or red...and if I ever want to do rainbow color eyes this color is perfect because it is so easily blendable and yet so bright at the same time. To make an everyday look I often use this on the lid with melon in the crease, and it tones it down just enough to not make it look completely outrageous.

Definately one of my favourite mult-use pigments. Gives a bit of something-something when used with mousse in my light, golden blonde hair. As an eyeshadow, it's a lovely, yellow-gold shade.

That said, the fallout on this p/m is massive. If I'm going to use it as an all-over wash on my lids, I have to use mixing medium, Visine, or foil it with some Fix+. Without, it's a neon-yellow mess with 24K glitter. Foiled, it's a lovely, bright, gold. Not for the faint of heart if you're pale - it is noticeable.

But definately a needed pigment to have in stock.

So Golden Lemon.

Golden Lemon is a bright, shimmery primary yellow, and that's about all there is to it. This is probably one of the shimmeriest pigments I own, and used wet, it's almost blinding.

Golden Lemon pairs well with oranges and other "fire" ish colors, but also with blues and greens for tropical looks.

If you want yellow, this is that. If you want gold, look elsewhere.

Hmm. I'm confused about this one. I love the color in the pot and it doesn't look horrible one me, but the texture is funny. It feels drier than other pigments and results in more fall out. I prefer Goldmine e/s although they aren't the same shades exactly.

I bought this for a bumble bee Halloween costume and it looked amazing! I admit that I have not worn this outside of that one time but it looked pretty darn good I'm sure I'll find uses for it in the future. I put this on my lid and layered MAC's gold glitter over it with a medium brown in the crease and a darker shade in the corner. It looked awesome!

Very pretty! Looks a tad bit shocking in the pot, but it goes on (on my medium skin, anyways) more like a gold color, only better and brighter. I found it very wearable. It didnt just bring out the green flecks in my eyes, it made them look full-on green. very nice!

well i use it about every few months. and it only takes the SMALLEST amount to use it. it does look very pretty, but i only use it when none of my other makeup is intense and it is summery out. it can get messy, but totally worth it. $20 is alot but like the lady said at MAC, it will NEVER run out. i seriously think i will have it for another 10 years. i think it is worth the money. but the powder is very loose and tends to fall of fast but with my Urban Decay primer it is perfect. i think if i were to get another pigment i would go for a more natural light shade. though this is really nice to. not my HG but i love it all the same.

NW15

This a lovely bright yellow shade. It's beautiful as an eyeshadow, and I'm sure it would make a great highlighter too. I don't use it very often, so I'll probably never have to buy another jar, but if I needed too, I would.
