I'm using this in teh spring, when our weather changes from wet/rainy to dry with midnight fog. (Bay Area of San Francisco). This is when my skin turns sensitive, so I'm appreciating tourmaline mask. It does not irritate (and I am VERY sensitive), and leaves a shiny, almost glossy, glow. My skin feels supple and soft. Does not cause break outs, and does not leave me red faced. Pleasant smell and consistency. I follow it with tourmaline day cream for added benefits. Good stuff!

Put the moisture right back in my skin after a bad run with some acne products drying out my skin. The first night I put this on for about 45 minutes and I could immediately tell there was a difference. I will use this twice a week at night for about a month and then once a week. Will not stray from Estee Lauder products again.

This masque is one of the best things I've ever put on my face. It purifies, detoxifies, gently exfoliates and nourishes my skin. I use this masque 2-3 times a week and every time I use it my face feels better afterwards. Not only does my face look clearer and fresher, but my skin feels relaxed and detoxed. To increase its effectiveness, I use this in combination with Neostrata's Resurfacing Duo (scrub before masking). You will feel like you just had a professional facial afterwards.

My mom has this so she let me try it. She raved about how great it was, so i had high expectations. Left this masque on for about 10 minutes then washed it off. After looking in the mirror, i did not notice that much of a difference--no radiant skin, shrunken pores, etc. This tube costs $30 anyway, so im glad i tried her's and didnt buy my own!! Maybe it works great for others (such as my mom) but not for me! Skip this. I enjoy the other masque by Aveda much better and it is about 10 bucks cheaper.

Wow! I love this product! Its does exactly what it is sopposed to do- makes your face radiant. I apply a thin layer and leave it on for 10 minutes. Its a great product for sensitive/ dry skin. Since my skin is so dry im also looking for products to make it dewy and this is perfect for that! LOVELOVELOVE! Its going to be great for those cold dry winter monthes when my skin is expecially dull. Try this product out, you wont regret it!

OBSESSED WITH THIS MASQUE. I can't stop using it! I've recently switched my primary skin care to Sircuit, but I will ALWAYS use the Tourmaline mask. I use it every day before an important event, and on the day of I am looking FLAWLESS.

This is a fantastic purchase. You will not be disappointed.
BTW- this is an exfoliating mask. Not one for drawing out the crud in your pores.

I worked in a hair salon and got a couple free samples of this. I don't like it on my face because it makes my extremely sensitive skin itchy (minus two lippies) HOWEVER, per the recommendation of my aunt who is an Aveda junkie, I tried using this as a lip mask and it's fantastic. If your lips feel like they need some smoothing or plumping, put a layer of this stuff on for about 15 minutes a few nights a week. Then wipe off with a warm, damp cloth, and put on some lip balm or chapstick right away so it soaks in. My lips feel SO soft. I use this little trick every week whenever I feel like I've been neglecting my lips, or when the weather gets dry. I also took a couple of lippies off because I don't like the fact that it comes in a tube. I like masks to come in jars, because I feel like I have more control over how much product I use, whereas when It's in a tube, if you squirt out too much...whoops.

I have been using this product for about 2 weeks (4 times so far). My skin is looking dewier and my pores are minimized - I noticed this immediately. I have minimal breakouts to begin with but have not noticed any kind of reaction that some have said they have. My skin is softer and more moisturized than before. I would recommend this in a heartbeat.

This mask is best for normal/dry to slightly oily skin I've found. It does an amazing job of helping skin to get a glowy-dewy effect. I have oily skin and it helps to make my skin feel clean, but not with the sensation of stripping everything off of it. A small amount is needed for an entire application for your face and after about 10 minutes, it doesn't seem hard or cakey or difficult to wash off. Love it.

This relatively benign mask was used on me during an Aveda facial at an Aveda spa in Philadelphia. It seemed - as I said before - benign. No stinging, no "active" feeling, not too moisturizing and not too drying. Just "meh". Smelled ok, applies and removes easily. Can't say I see any "amazing" benefits" so for the price (kinda high) I would skip it.

Got a very generous sample of this at the Aveda store, about enough for 4 applications. I used it once and I highly doubt I will use it again. My skin feels like it has a weird layer of film over it and it's actually made my pores feel clogged and within a few hours of using it, I broke out. I have combo skin which tends to get surface dry in the winter and my skin is not sensitive. I don't normally break out with products. I really don't see the appeal of Aveda products. I've tried so many and had almost no luck with any of them. I hate their hair products and most of their skin care line. There are far better 'natural' products out there and Aveda is overpriced and overhyped in my opinion. If the products did what they claim they are supposed to do, I would not mind paying higher prices but as far as I'm concerned, Aveda products are crap. This mask joins my "no" Aveda pile. Luckily it was only a sample and not a purchase.

This seems to be a highly effective mask. It seems to tighten my pores and leave my skin feeling smoother. It hasn't irritated my sensitive, combination skin. The tube has a narrow spout so it's easy to just squeeze out a little bit and apply a thin layer.

However, this mask is incredibly pricey and I'm not convinced it works that much better than other clay masks I've used so I gave it only 4 stars overall.

Beauty w/o Cruelty's clay mask is still my favorite in terms of effectiveness and price.

I have tried this and it really does make your skin renewed and radiant, like many mask they are suppose to help with bringing your skin back to a glow, similar to what once a week detoxication of hair when you use those once a week hair stripping of pruduct shampoo's.. After you use Tourmaline Charged Radiance Masque for a while you can see a diffrence, you just need to hang in there like anything, you dont loose 20 lbs in two weeks, so you dont get radiant skin overnight as well. Just try it for about 2 weeks and you will see a diffrence.So many people expect results overnight.

There is nothing bad to say about this mask, except that it is very overpriced. It is very pleasant to use but only provides mild hydration. It is a thick white cream which performs optimally after about 15mins. Fragrance is virtually nil, washes cleans and is very easy to use. I would recommend this for normal-combination skin as it doesn’t really provide that much moisture. All in all, I am on the hunt for something with more of an impact. In terms of radiance, the only difference I notice is the plumpness from hydration but nothing wow.

I had the tourmaline facial done at the Spa that I go to. Unfortunately, I had a reaction in my eye area when the product was being taken off and it has been almost a month and my eyes are still irritated and puffy. The rest of my skin on my face looks great but the product was too chemically strong. I have tried sleeping with petrolium jelly to help with the drying but my eye area still tingles.
