This product does smell quite terrible like other reviewers have mentioned, but it soaks in nicely and the smell disappears.I use it in conjunction with skinmedica's tri-retinal complex at night and before a vitamin c serum in the morning. My skin is baby smooth and has a much more even tone after five weeks of religious use. I should note I only started using the vitamin c about 10 days ago and it has had a marked difference on the tone evening but my skin seemed to glow even before and it has decreased the severity of burgeoning fine lines around my eyes. I'm only 25 but I've been a smoker (recently quit) for about 4 years and it took a toll on my eyes. It's very pricey and I will be trying out other products when I finish to see if I can find a cheaper comparable product.

I bought this from a surgeons office after hearing about how great it worked. I was a bit skeptical, especially since it's very expensive. They offered a 20% discount since I had attended one of his seminars so I bought this which tightens the skin as well as the SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Antioxidant which is supposed to smooth & even out the skin.

First of all, the color is supposed to be a bright red gel. If it's rusty red, it's old. The smell is like old gym socks left in my sons football cleets for a week. I mean it really smells BAD! The smell does go away when dry. You must apply moisturizer over it because it is NOT a moisturizer, it's a treatment.

The bottle lasted me exactly 43 days and my skin looked great! How do I know it really worked? Well because I bought a second bottle from Amazon and found that the smell and color were NOT the same. It was an old stock. When it's more than 2 years old it loses it's effectiveness. I began to notice that my face wasn't looking so great as it had in the past month! (NOTE: The Phloretin CF made my skin radiant by the way)

Good product overall. I used a bottle every other night (alternating with Renova) and then followed it with the Dermal Repair Cream. I didn't think this was a life changer, but good enough for me to buy another bottle and give it some more time. As previously mentioned, the color, texture. Also you really need to use a moisturizer over it because the product itself is almost drying (esp in the winter). Best to incorporate into summer routine.

After a complete face transformation in early February, which included a facelift, upper and lower eyelid and brow lift, my plastic surgeon's aesthetician GAVE me the TNS Recovery Complex, Ceramide Treatment Cream and moisturizer as part of my post op care. Obviously, they had confidence in these products. I healed amazingly fast. I was ready to face the public in a mere 3 weeks. I give much credit to the first two products. On the advice of my aesthetician, I eliminated the Ceramide cream after one month. However, I continue to use the Recovery Complex daily to great effect. This product was designed for post facelift candidates. It can be purchased on Amazon for half price. The smell is no issue.

Okay, upfront ~ this product smells nasty but it works. At first it totally smells like b*tt, I am not kidding - and yes it is funny! But, (pun intended) it is totally worth it. My skin looks so great! I am 40 and I get carded all of the time, no joke. And, the smell dissipates quite quickly after it dries so don't be alarmed. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a more youthful appearance. Cheers!

I have used TNS recovery complex for years. It is one of the best anti aging products sold on the market today. It illuminates my complexion, it lessens fine lines and gives my skin an overall more beautiful look. I purchase TNS at my dermatogist's office. It is a bit pricey, but, I feel that the results are priceless. I highly recommend this product to anyone, no matter what their skin type. You will see a remarkable difference in the appearance of your skin. Your skin will look it's best with frequent use of this product.

I absolutely love this product. I used for the first time about 5 years ago (just the orange stuff then), and stopped due the cost, and I didn't notice any huge change in my skin.

I recently purchased the TNS Essential Serum at the suggestion of my doctor. I noticed the skin under my eyes becoming crepey, and Botox did not help this. The TNS made the difference. I use twice daily, along with Renova about three or four nights a week, and absolutley love the results!

I bought the first bottle at the doc's office ($250) and the second very recently on Amazon for about 1/2 the price. I was tickled with savings, but am a little worried if it's the real thing. It looks and feels the same, but the smell is a little stronger, and the orange stuff tends to dry up and harden between uses. Is this normal? My first bottle didn't do this. But, it's a different package (but the same appearance as on Skinmedica's official site). I put Scotch tape over the opening on the dispenser between uses (along with the cap) and this has stopped the hardening.

I hope the Amazon stuff is the real deal b/c the TNS Essential Serum I bought at the doc's office is fantastic! I would highly suggest. I do smell what others do, but really don't think it is a big deal at all. It fades with time, and certainly after the application of subsequent products.

I have used the entire pump container (wish I could pry it open to get the last bits out) and I'm really uncertain if it has done anything for me. It's been 2.5 months of using it every night and it certainly hasn't helped with any of my small brown spots from sun damage, or visibly with fine lines beneath my eyes. It also hasn't helped at all with the redness on my cheeks and chin that might be the start of rosacea.

On the other hand, it hasn't hurt my skin either. It's possible that it's a tiny bit firmer under my chin--- not counting the immediate tightening you get when the serum dries. I have faith that the active ingredient can jumpstart cell renewal, so I may try it again.

I use it at night because the smell is still really strong: if this is reformulated, it must have been truly awful before. Also, I need a moisturizer over it, so I use Decleor Neroli to counter the odor. Not a magic bullet for me, but not a total rip-off either.

For me, TNS recovery had immediate results. I have combination skin so I only use it on my forehead to keep it smooth and glowing. When I applied it to the rest of my face it was too"pulling, tight". This may be a plus for others, depending upon your skin type. I also have to admit, I use straight retin A every other night also. The combination seems to work very well for me. No need for botox yet!! Late 50's....

Absolutely necessary every morning. I combine it with Bliss's "The Youth As We Know It" serum to provide some moisturization. At night, I use a tretinoin to exfoliate, and every three days or so I use a scrub. At 47 my skin is glowy and vibrant. Can't beat it.

I am 50 now and have always had oily skin, which has helped to stay off the wrinkles. But I am definately losing tone and firmness in my skin, and can see some slight sagging around the jowls. I have been testing products, searching for something that makes my skin feel more toned and lifted. TNS Recovery Complex is the first product I have tried that feels like it is really doing something more than just moisturizing. In the beginning I loved the "tight" feel this gel gave to by skin, instead of the normal heavy greasey feel of a lotion. It also seemed to normalize my skin, so it was not so oily. I would have kept using this product for those reasons only. But then after about a month, I noticed my pores were much less noticeable, the tone was more even and more glowy, and yes my skin looked as though it had somewhat lifted. I do feel it is strenghtening and adding back something to my skin that it had lost. Other more expensive products like Perricone's, did not do near this much for my skin. One last word of advice is that exfoliation is extremely at our age, and if your not also using a strong product to remove dead skin layers, this product may not penatrate well and give the results you could have. I would recommend MD Forte's 30% aha rejuvination lotion at night to really keep your skin exfoliated, and use the TNS gel during the day. The combination of these two products has done wonders for my skin.

Great product. Is a bit sticky so I use at night before other products. Its great at recovering and turning the skin over faster. I actually stopped using it because when I did, my tan faded much quicker! lol

Back to using it and its great!!!!

My dermatologist recommended this to me. It's actually the TNS Essential Serum, which consist of the Recovery Complex and the APS Corrective Complex. So far it seems like a great product. It reduces oil, gives my skin a matte finish, moisturizes, and smooths my skin. I've only been using it for two weeks so I haven't been able to see some of the other benefits yet. It feels great on my skin, and I plan on purchasing more. The product is very expensive $250 for 1 ounce. However, it's cheaper on Ebay.

If you don't count the negative reviews for the smell (which they must of reformulated; there's no bad smell), TNS would get a good rating. On this premise, I gave TNS my full attention for four months, following the instructions down to the last detail. The result: nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not even the tiniest of improvements. What a huge disappointment. And a considerable loss of cash.

On the bright side, SkinMedica's Vitaman C & E Complex, which I ordered with TNS, is excellent. Particularly effective on acne, which it can terminate overnight. Much better than all the acne medications I've ever tried.

I LOVE this product! You can literally feel your skin tighten when you put in on. I have seen amazing results as my skin is literally getting better as I age. I sometimes only use the product once a day because it is pricey, but it is worth every penny! It's like liquid gold! I highly recommend this product and wish that everyone could use it.

This product does work wonders! I am an esthetician and we have tons of patients at my medical spa on this product, as well as myself. If you are thinking of using this product, purchase it from a doctor's office or medical spa and let them tell you the details. It's important to know why it's pricey, the protein alone, it's important to know that the scent only last a few minutes, it's important to know that you won't see results within 4 weeks it takes time. I believe that if you are informed right, and be a bit patient then you will fall in love with TNS Recovery.

I purchased and have been using TNS Essential Serum, TNS daily moisturizer SPF 20 and Dermal Recovery Cream for approximately 45 days. The initial few weeks I was thrilled with the moisturizing benefits and firmness. In the past two weeks I have developed "flat acne" (blackheads, whiteheads, little tiny pimples) all over my entire face, neck and chest (where it was applied) for the first time in my life! Hideous mess that has sent me to the derm for medication. I definitely developed a reaction and would contribute this to the serum.

Stuck with expensive stuff that I can't use. This regimen was recommended by by plastic surgeon in conjunction with Botox treatment. Yuk.

I SWEAR by this product. I started using it about 2 years ago when I read an article where they interviewed female dermatologists and plastic surgeons, and the wives of dermatologists/plastic surgeons. Many of them used this product in their daily routine (the only ones who didn't said they were were using 'their own' line of products.). That was good enough for me to try it myself. I get compliments on my skin all the time, and I don't even wear foundation or blush. This stuff smells AWFUL, but has been shown in studies to REPAIR damaged skin, not just make it look better. It also been proven to stimulate collegen production in double-blind studies. Until something better comes out, I will keep using this along with my other products every morning and evening. Take a pic of yourself before you start using, and then again at 3 months. It works.

I'm only 25, but my skin has seen its fair share of the sun and I could swear I'm starting to get spots and some fine lines. I've been using TNS Recovery Complex for about a week now and my skin has never looked better. My previous skin routine involved endless masks, scrubs, toners, moisturizers, Biore pore strips, you name it. Now, I use only Dove soap and TNS Rec Complex and the results are unbelieveable.

The scent - yes, it does smell a bit musty towel-ish. But that goes away about 15 seconds after applying it. It doesn't bother me enough to stop using it.

The texture and color- its a medium-thickness, red serum that goes on smoothly. It blends into skin very quickly so it helps to NOT rub it between your fingers before applying, if that makes sense.

The results - smooth, more event-toned skin. My skin actually glows when I use this. I'm so impressed with the look and feel of my face that I don't even wear foundation any more - just concealer under my eyes. And I haven't broken out from it yet, which is a plus!

It's pricey at $140 but since it's the only skin product I use, it's worth it. I'm not wasting money on a ton of other products now. And good looking skin is really something that's important to me, so I'll repurchase.

I was disappointed with this product, which I used in conjunction with the TNS Dermal Repair cream (which does a good job of masking the smell of the Recovery Complex, by the way). Not only did I not see any improvements, but my skin actually started to look worse after about a week. I don't have many wrinkles, but I looked like I had more after using this product (my skin seemed sort of dry and crepey). Then my face broke out like crazy! I don't know which product caused the breakout, but I went from having clear skin to zits all over my cheeks, so both are going into the trash! I can handle not seeing immediate improvements when trying a new product, but NOT having my skin look worse than it did when I started!
