This was my very first moisturizer. My mom got me started on a skincare routine when I was 12, when my skin was still perfect and hadn't yet suffered under the doom formally known as puberty. I loved it then and I love it now, though I am noticing a few downfalls this time around.
The smell is AMAZING. Its really hard to describe, just overall very fresh and fruity, like a cool drink you would sip on a hot summer day. Its very refreshing and smells moisturizing, if people understand what I mean.. it just smells like something that would give a healthy dose of quenching moisture to your skin.
Which it does, though it takes a while to get that way. I don't remember this from when I was younger, but it seems to take a while for my skin to absorb it. This isn't a huge deal breaker for me, though it would have earned the 5 lippies if it did. It leaves a bit of a tacky film over my skin, which goes away in about 15-20 minute, reguardless of weather or not makeup or other products are placed over it. I assume this is just residual product that takes a longer time to be absorbed into my thirsty skin.
Good product overall =] there are some things that could be done to make it better, but I like it anyway. I would recomend, and im CONSIDERING rebuying, unless I find something better.

This is an amazinnng moisturizer for the summer. It's light and smells really fresh and fruity. It's a fluid - so it's very thin and doesn't feel greasy on my face after applying.
The SPF 15 is really great too of course, I definately recconmend this to anyone that doesn't have any major skin complications, it's a great purchase and a little goes a long way, my bottle lasted from July until October.

Mehh was my first reaction when i saw this.. It says its a liquid but its moer of a cream thats about 5 years old.
I only used it because i wanted a temporary make up base.
It said it was an excellent make up base but really it was under average. As a moisturizor it either made me very oily or very dry.
I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again.

i remember using this a few years ago when i was still in high school. it didn't moisturise well at all, it wasnt able to soften any of my existing dry flakes and my skin did not feel any better either. i gave it 1 lippy because it smelt nice (though a little strong and fruity for a face moisturiser) i wont be buying this again, it brings back so many horrible memories of having dry flaky skin because of this moituriser.

Ew. That is what my skin felt like when I used this last summer. It was all sticky and gross and liquidy but not moisturising and just...no. I will never buy this again.

I love this stuff, it makes my combination/acne prone skin feel like velvet and doesn't make me break out at all.

I love this moisturizer. Works great for a summer moisturizer. It smells nice and absorbs quickly. Best of all it's not breaking out my sensitive, oily skin.

I actually really like this. I am becomming quite a fan of Garnier skincare - I own loads of high end products, but I quite often use this Fresh fluid. It is great for my skin - my skin does not need a lot of product as it is quite 'normal', but as i need to use a cleaner to remove my mineral makeup, I then need to put some moisture back in. This stuff is great - not too heavy, just some nice moisture that I need. This is my fav. moisturiser at the moment.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the good side it smells nice and fresh, my skin absorbs it easily and it doesn't make me break out. However, my face feels tight afterwards. I have combo skin (i'm oily in the t zone and normal in the cheeks) and ever since i've been using this, my t zone has become normal and my cheeks have become dry. 24 hour moisturization my a**! I wanted to love this, i can't get enough of the smell! But sadly, my skin simply won't tolerate it. I think it would be ok for really oily skin though. Back to the hunt for the perfect day cream...

I needed a light moisturiser for my combo skin so that I wouldnt break out and Garnier Fresh looked like the answer. It was pleasant to use, refreshing and non-greasy. However I found myself reapplying the stuff because it was too light, furthermore when I did this a horrible gel like layer built up on my skin, and it felt rather grubby. I also found that with alot of the Garnier naturals face creams they tend to run out very quickly, so it actually turns out to be quite expensive.

I would give this about a 3 or 4 out of 10...I wasnt that impressed.

It's funny, my skin used to like this product a few of years ago when I was still a teenager and not wearing makeup. I stopped using it back then just to try another moisturiser. Anyway I bought a tube recently and I find it isnt really that moisturising, especially when I had dry spots of skin. And my foundation didn't sit well on top of it as well. So I gave it to my younger (teenage) sister, and she loved it.

I don't think it's a good make up base at all. I thought the product was too drying and is not beneficial for my skin in any way. Without the SPF or anything, I generally thought it was a useless product. My best friend carries her bottle around and reapplies during the day. A good moisturizer shouldn't need to be reapplied so often, IMO! Will not repurchase.

Mostly a pretty good product which I have bought a few times now. It does tend me make me break out sometimes and be a little greasy in the summer months, but is perfect for use in the winter months.

Edited to say - I am very annoyed that this 'Fresh' range from Garnier has been discontinued.

It's a lovely light moisturizer for young skin. It has a gel-cream consistency that spreads easily and absorbs quickly. The smell is nice and refreshing, very fruity. It contains sunscreen but it's not a broad-spectrum protection. However, I use Clinique Super city block over it,so it is not a big deal for me. I sometimes mix it with my foundation to create my own tinted moisturizer, which is better than many high-end TM. Lastly, a little goes a long way, the tube will last forever..........

This is really nice lovly and refreshing not good if youvé got drier skin I would recommened this to even oily skin because the garnier range in general is a bit drying .But really nice I've been using this for a month now my skin is clearing up a little, no black heads I don't think its a clogging kind of moisturizer and good for the price.

I really like this gel-based moisturiser, because of a number of factors: first of all the price is right, second its consitency is heaven and it does refresh ur skin nicely. But i dont see any other pros i am afraid. It is well marketed, in a nice green jar with a lot of fruity pictures. I keep buying it however and probably will keep doing so, good value for money.

Hmmm.... I did break out a bit. But I don't know if it was from this or not. We'll assume not for the time being, since my face is so breakout prone anyway. But this stuff is really nice! Light and smells so nice. But try this, put some on your hands and use it as a hand moisturizer. I did that and found it left quite a weird plasticky feeling film. Like when you put silicon shine stuff in your hair. You know that dry oil feeling? That. So it makes me wonder what's in there? Something pore clogging that just sits as a barrier on top of your skin, hence 24 hour moisture it claims to be??? I'm a bit worried. But I'll continue to use for a bit and see... Not sure if I will repurchase. Maybe. Maybe not. There should be an "undecided" button. Oh, also, I must comment that they need to make it a flip top lid. The cap is a bit tricky.

**I assume this is the same as Garnier's 24 Hour Hydrating Day Cream as it is sold in Canada.**

I love this moisturizer. I picked it up when I went home to visit my parents and forgot to bring my usual Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish. The consistency of this moisturizer is light but it sinks right into skin, leaving it smooth. It seems to have a bit of a mattifying effect that works wonders for my T Zone. The package says that it contains pure fruit waters and Vitamin E. Vitamin E is always good. Fruit waters? Sounds like a bunch of advertising hype, but hey, this stuff works and works well! It was about $9 Canadian. I would definitely repurchase.

**Edit** You know what? This stuff reminds me of Lancome's Vinefit oil free moisturizer except it's not as slick and doesn't smell as strong.
