A good mask but not my favourite of the Queen Helene range because I prefer clay masks - but it does leave your skin feeling very fresh and soft.
I find that it is kind of difficult to peel off unless you slather quite a lot on.
Still worth the buy though because of the price. This is my boyfriend's fave out of all of the Queen Helene masks!

I really don't use masks. I am one of those hoarder people who buys something and I think, "If I use it now, I won't have it to use later." So I just don't use the masks.
However, I was bored and saw this on my counter and thought "peel-off, HOW FUN" and slathered it all over. After it dried I gently peeled it off, with a little stinging, and very heavily moisturized. Later in the day when normally my skin is dry and the lines in my forehead are more prominent, they were not nearly as visible. Kind of remarkable. It prompted me to go out and buy one that wasn't expired and sitting in my cabinet for like 4 years.
It not only made the lines less visible, it also made my skin look much dewier. Normally my cheeks look very matte and dry by the end of the day, but today they still had that nice sheen to them (I wasn't wearing highlighter). I really like this! I don't have issues with clogged pores so I can't really comment on that aspect, but my skin definitely felt much nicer than it normally does.

Get your self some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball, cheaper way to get the effects of this mask. I would only use this as a spot treatment since it is extremely drying to the skin.

My Ulta FINALLY had this in stock, after months of waiting I finally got it! The mask made my skin look brighter and more refreshed, and I could see a difference in how clean my pores were.
There are a couple of downsides to this product, first of all it smells like Fabreeze!!! Literally smells like you are smearing Fabreeze all over your face. The smell fades gradually as the mask dries, but I would steer clear if you are not a fragrance person. its also super thick and hard to spread all over your face. Its definitely a good mask to have on rotation (I have all the QH masks), but approach with caution.

I have been using this mask on and off for a number of years and keep coming back to it. This is a basic,peel-of mask meant for clearing pores and gently exfoliating. I does it's job rather well.
Pros:
Super cheap. The most I have every seen this mask for is $5, and I can usually find it online for around $2.99.
Dries quickly and actually peels off, all in one piece, without leaving a mess.
Removes the top, dry and flaky, layer of dead skin off face (if applicable).
Cleans pores gently, not as much as pore strips, but since you can spread it wherever needed, I prefer it over pre-shaped strips (I have enlarged and/or clogged pores everywhere, not just my nose).
Doesn't break my super acne-prone skin out.
Cons:
HIGHLY fragranced. My eyes water and nose itches while I have this on. It really smells like I sprayed strong perfume on my face - to be safe I always wash my face with my usual cleanser after using this mask as I don't want to risk leaving unknown "fragrance" on my skin.
A bit too gentle if your aim is to thoroughly cleanse pores - it doesn't really pull all the "gunk" out, just a bit so deep cleaning takes multiple uses.
OVERALL: I will continue to buy this mask until I find a better substitute. For the price, I haven't found anything to beat it. Although I would be willing to spend more if I could find something that got stuff out of my pores as well as the strongest pore strips, but with more natural ingredients and less waste. A functional mask, with some downfalls, but worth using.
UPDATE: Couldn't get passed the fragrance AND this mask started irritating my face. I don't have particularly sensitive skin but something in here just didn't work for me after regular use. Won't buy again myself, but if the ingredients and small agree with you, it's still a worthwhile product to try, especially considering the low price.

I don't notice any effect at all from using this. Maybe it makes my skin a little brighter? But not a large effect. I have used it about three times now. I had much better results from Boscia's black luminizing mask. Shame, I loved the price.

First time trying it just then, love the smell and the cool feeling on my skin.. peel it off was fun! the only downside is that it's a bit on the thick side, making it a bit harder to put out a smooth layer. I'll be using this as directed to see whether it'll make my skin 'glow'

Honestly, I just love peeling it off.
I'm not a big mask user. I've only owned two in my lifetime - a clay mask and this, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It's not going to do any miracles, it isn't extraordinary, but for the beating my skin gets, this fellow is like giving grape candy to my skin.
It's extremely goopy and sticky, but it rinses off hands fairly easily. The alcohol scent fades away quickly and leaves you with the vague idea that all the grape-flavored vitamins and lollipops that children snubbed are recycled into this mask. In a good way. If it gets in your hair, you'll probably find it eventually... Just stay indoors until you do.

This masque cleans pores and leaves your skin feeling very soft and refreshed. It takes some practice to learn to apply it though, since it is very thick and must be spread on the skin quickly.
Overall my skin is loving it. I don't have sensitive skin and use it every 3 days.

I purchased this due to the good reviews and because I am a mask fanatic. This masque smells of sweet grape and alcohol. It is a rather thick, sticky gel consistency that I found difficult to apply a thin layer. The first time I had too much on and it took a long time to dry. I also tried this after a facial steam and after using a clay mask. After each use of this product, I noticed no difference or beneficial effects whatsoever. My skin looks exactly the same. As it is an inexpensive product, it is worth trying due to the good reviews.

I used this a couple of times before deciding to just stick to scrubs once or twice a week because I use Retin A. I liked the masque alright but I only used a very thin layer once a week, and was very gentle peeling it off because I have sensitive skin. I wrote that I wouldn't buy this again because I'm not going to use masques anymore, but I gave my tube to my flatmate and she really likes it and hasn't had trouble with it. She jumps into the shower to cleanse her face right after, and then does her usual moisturising/treatment routine.
And just as a side note re: the reviewer below - getting breakouts or not having a product work for you does not mean you are to blame because you don't 'cleanse' your facial skin well enough. I'm not going to get into the whole science of acne/skin conditions because this is not the place for it, but not every comedogenic ingredient will break everyone out, just the way no panacea oil/treatment/emollient will work on every single type of skin. Saying that this product doesn't work on people because they're dirty is really stupid and ignorant. There's plenty of medically proved information for free out there so there's really no excuse to not educate yourself.

I am oily/combo skin which gets congested all the time. I used this product when I was a teen and loved it then but more for the 'peeling' effect. I now decided to try it again because I need to exfoliate more often now than I am in my 40's but don't want the drying effect. My method is to put a warm washcloth on my face to open my pores, then put a thin layer of the mask on (with my hair pulled back by a headband as you don't want to get it on your hair). I let it dry for atleast 30 minutes or when it feels dry to touch all over. You then pull it up from under the chin first and it just comes right off with all your dead skin! It's great. I sometimes do it a second time just on my nose where I get alot of blackheads. My skin looks and feels bright, and smooth and I my pores look smaller. I then put on some blemish treatment on the areas that might breakout (forehead), let that dry, then put on a light moisturizer. I do this 2 times per week as I hear it takes a few days for your skin to regenerate itself and I don't want to over exfoliate. I would do a test patch first if you haven't tried it before or haven't done facials often. If you are a facial veteran, then you shouldn't have a problem. When I read the reviews about folks that get upset because it makes them breakout makes me think they don't realize that your skin must be full of junk and you don't properly clean it otherwise you wouldn't have such problems (unless you are allergic to the product). I do regular facials at home and at a salon to keep my adult acne in check and my skin clear and this product is now a regular in my at home care. My esthetician says she likes it too but her skin is drier than mine so she only recommends once per week if you have dry skin. I also sometimes follow up with a yogurt/honey mask to get the rest of my dead skin off and to help hydrate my skin which works wonders. The smell of the grapeseed product is strong so if that bothers you don't use it as it does smell the whole time. I even use it on dry patches on my hands and arms and it works pretty well that I might even try my feet!

I have combo/normal skin. Tried this mask and it made my skin smooth, soft and bright immediately after. In the morning, my skin still had a nice glow, so I skipped the tinted moisturizer and just put some bronzer on. Peeled off easily with no pain unlike some others (DHC-I'm talking to you) and it tried in 5-10 minutes.

I LOVE this product. It's like applying honey directly to your face but the way it peels off is fabulous. I couldn't find it anywhere and I didn't wanna order it online. Thankfully I checked the QH website and saw they had this near me at The Family Dollar, $2.20 for a tube on sale. I bought 3 ;D

Yes, it's goopy and sticky to apply. Yes, it is SUPPOSED to be. I love love love this stuff. Another great, effective, and inexpensive product from QH!! Left my skin amazing and I cannot wait to use it again! As PP's have said - spread, thin, peel gently, this is a breeze to use! Not sure what all the complaints are. Love it!

I see a lot of people saying it's painful to peel this off. Well, yes it is but ONLY if you apply a thick layer or leave it on too long. I apply it in just about the thinnest layer I can. It saves a lot more product that way, too. You also need to peel it off the second it's completely dry, don't leave it on longer than it needs to be. If you just do these two things I can guarantee you won't have pain issues. *Also don't use it more than once a week if you have bad results. Give it one more try!
As for the actual masque I really enjoy it. I have sensitive, dry skin and lately I've been breaking out and I didn't notice any more breakouts. It also temporarily tones my skin (I have redness). I went from heavy coverage makeup and for a few days I only needed a sheer foundation. It softens the skin and clears pores, and can do wonders if you actually know how to use it.
