I have incredibly oily skin, and it is so hard to find a moisturizer for oily skin that contains good natural ingredients and actually helps with the oil. This does both. My skin does dry out a bit in winter so during the cold months I have to switch to something a bit more rich, but for spring, summer and fall, this is my holy grail of moisturizers.

I have been using the juice beauty line for two weeks for blemish and acne prone skin. I noticed that the oil free moisturizer looks dry on my combination skin.I think I need extra moisturizing since I use sunscreen on my face everyday. I love the juice beauty products I don't think I will purchase the moisturizer.

I've been using this for 7+ months just like the blemish clearing serum from this line and I'm in love with this moisturizer!! I feel so clean when I use this and never sticky, I use this day and night currently because I have yet to find and SPF that doesn't make me breakout (Other than a powdered version)... I also switched to this product after I got pregnant and needed and oil free moisturizer.
It's a great formula for adding a powdered foundation to create a tinted moisturizer btw!
I label it as being a little on the expensive side because I need to use 4 pumps for my combo skin type twice a day. Whereas my sister who has oily skin only needs 2 pumps per use and her bottle lasts her what seems like a life time, she also uses it day an night.
I always order off the JB website and get it within a week's time, super fast which helps if I've been lazy and suddenly need it.
Dry skin types may not like this as it won't offer enough hydration.

It's a little tricky to explain why I'm not crazy about this. When I start to apply it, it feels nice. Somehow right after applying, it starts to feel like it's not sinking in all the way. Over the course of the day my skin starts to feel either very oily or very dry. I will assure you that I understand that different weather/seasons call for different moisturizers, but this one is a little too inconsistent for my taste. I have other oil free and/or very light moisturizing products that don't seem to have this same problem. I wouldn't 100% say don't try it since everyone is different, but it's not the first one I'd suggest.

received a sample of this in a swap. When I first applied this to my face, it was very sticky, but as I rubbed it into my face, it soaked in nicely. I applied it at night, and when I woke up the next morning, my face felt soft and moisturized. Though I enjoyed this sample, I will not purchase a full size because I have a great nighttime moisturizer, but I recommend this to those who need a good organic moisturizer.

I got a small sample of this, and have been using it for about 3 weeks pretty consistently, since a little of this product goes a long way. So far, I absolutely love it. It has a light, fresh fragrance that does not linger, which is a huge plus for me - as someone who is very sensitive to, and hates, having fragrances linger on my face - even good ones. It has definitely improved my skin tone and clarity and has helped start to clear my mild/moderate acne.
The only thing I worry about in the full sized product - since you need so very little to cover your entire face - is whether or not all of the natural ingredients will start to go bad?

Yuck!! I can tolerate most things if they do what they claim, but this stuff is gross. It comes out of the tube very thick, dries quickly on the skin, then after about 15 minutes I feel like I have a mask on. I use a tiny pea sized amount for my face, neck, and chest, but this still seems to be too much after a few minutes. My skin feels like it can't breathe and becomes extraordinarily oily.

I've recently been experiencing some hormonal acne and I have been looking for a moisturizer that doesn't clog my pores as well as produce more oil. After purchasing this juice beauty product my skin feels way more hydrated and firm! My face has been clearing up with the use of this product along with juice beauty's blemish clearing serum. The results have been amazing for my skin. I did some research and found out how this product is full of minerals and organic fruits and juices. I am fully satisfied with this moisturizer and with the way my face radiates in the morning!

Got a sample from Sephora. This does have a nice silky feel, but I felt like it slid around on my face for a while before sinking in, if that makes any sense. Like it was very slippery and patting or rubbing didn't get it to sink in; I just had to wait. Maybe it wasn't really sinking in, but was just drying up. It did an okay job moisturising. It didn't irritate my combo skin, but it's quite expensive for what it is. Won't repurchase.

Wow, I can't believe all the negative reviews! I love this stuff. :) It moisturizes without making my skin feel sticky, filmy, or greasy. It works well under makeup and I've tried it with creme, powder, and liquid makeup. I also don't experience any stinging and the scent is subtle and fades almost immediately.
I haven't had any issues with breakouts and my skin hasn't reacted to it (which for me means redness and peeling). I use this along with the face wash and blemish serum and my skin looks brighter, smoother, and my discolorations are fading.
I can't say enough good things about this line. I have finally found something that doesn't dry me out or irritate my skin, but yet actually works. Yay!

The range of reviews here is so wide that I almost wonder if we're reviewing the same product...I consulted my bottle twice because I had doubts. :)
Although I find this to be a heavy moisturizer (not light or runny as some described), I find that it works for me. It's part of my regular face care routine, and I only use it at night. I would repurchase.
Length of use:
It's been about a year.
Effectiveness / side effects:
Moisturizes well for me. When I apply it at night, I wake up the next day with a dewy look.
Makes me oily if I use too much or if I use it for daytime, so I apply it sparingly and at night. I don't experience breakouts if I use it alongside the other products in my regimen.
My method of use:
One pump spread and rubbed on the fingers of both hands, then patted all over my face...a little goes a long way for me...but, this is how I got it to work for me. :P
Thick...heavy if I use too much. Perfect for nighttime if I use a little bit all over my face.
Not exactly sure it's apple, but it disappears and I don't mind it.
My skin type:
Combination to very oily (when indoors for a long time). Tendency to be congested and to break out with large cystic acne.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
I don't understand why this product has so many negative reviews, but personally I love this moisturizer. I did not experience any stickiness or film on my face. My face absorbed the moisturizer wonderfully, and the smell was not overwhelming at all. I only used 2 - 3 small pumps of the moisturizer and it was enough for my entire face. I am also very acne-prone and I haven't broken out (yet) from using this, but so far I'm a fan and I would get another bottle although I do wish the price wasn't so steep!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue
I received a sample of this moisturizer from one of the swaps. The first thing I did I read reviews of it and saw many negatives. However I still wanted to try myself. Well I did not think that the smell was horrible. It is a little stronger than other products but it is not the worse out there. By the way it does not linger for very long. As a moisturizer I think it did its job. I put it on at night and in the morning my skin was very soft and without any dry patches which I get with other products even HE ones. I did not feel any stinging or burning. It is a little watery but it glided on my skin perfectly. So to summarize it: smell is fresh, it moisturizes well, does not irritate skin. After using a sample I will buy a bottle.

I got a sample of the oil free moisturizer when I purchase the green apple peel in sensitive which I really like not the moisturizer. When I first applied, it feels sticky and it feels like I have a layer of film on my face after maybe half an hour, I looked at the mirror to check and I found oil building up on my cheek and I had to use blotting paper to blot it out. Therefore, this oil free moisturizer is a no no for me. The only product that I will repurchase is the apple peel from juice beauty.

First of all, I love the concepts of this brand. Not only are their products 98% USDA-certified organic, but they are a cruelty-free brand listed on the PETA website - both things that are very important to me when looking at a cosmetics company! It's great to know that not only am I putting something natural on my skin, but I'm avoiding animal cruelty at the same time.
I first tried this, like many of you, as a Sephora sample. I love the scent - light citrus with a hint of something sweet, like vanilla, and not at all synthetic. I have sensitive skin that can be dry in the winter - but I really HATE the feel of thick lotion or lots of makeup on my skin (I tend to use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation!). This goes on smoothly (be careful not to use too much though - or it will feel sticky and not absorb properly!) and absorbs without a trace. I have found that it feels good on my skin and leaves it soft and healthy-looking.
I've read a few reviews saying that the juice has left skin feeling tingly or irritated. I have to say, I'm really surprised to hear this. I have very sensitive, pale skin that burns in about two seconds flat and can't handle any strong chemical products without getting pink and irritated - but I haven't even felt a hint of a tingle with this! So it's definitely a product that differs between people.
I certainly think that this is suited more to people with oilier skin or who don't like the feel of heavy moisturizer - and won't work in harsh winter climates. But with summer coming up I've stocked up and definitely see myself sticking with this in the future!

Love that it comes in a pump. Love that it's lightweight. Perfect for summer. It smells wonderful and keeps my skin moisturized. It lasts me for a long time too. I use 2-3 pumps each morning and each night for my face and neck. Absorbs quickly and is not greasy. I can even use it on my forehead and can go pretty long without blotting.

Very good moisturizer. It gets absorbed into the skin really well and makes the skin feel supple and moisturized. The only downsize to this product are (1) it does not feel soothing on, in fact, it stings a bit due to the fruit juice and extracts in it, and (2) it feels a bit sticky, which i don't mind. Beside these things, I LOVE this moiturizer because it's matte and does not clog up my clog-prone skin. And it contains so many good natural ingredients! Love it! I use it in the morning under my sunscreen.

Juicy oil-free moisterizer is perfect for me. I am obsessed with what I put in my body like organic fruits and veggies. I also try staying away from as many preservatives as possibe. I decided to do the same for my skin and started using Juice. I find that it absorbed better when I left my face slightly damp. I have always done that with any lotion I use. You don't need to use alot. Some people might not like the smell but then again they don't use fragrence, which is great. They are also smart enough to use a glass bottle so the chemicals from the plastic don't seep in. I can't say it's a wonder product because nothing is, but if you want to stay away from harmful chemicals then use this.

The formula is a little on the thin side. It's very, well, juicy! It smells of apples, too! It does leave a dewy finish on the skin, so powder is necessary to finish a look. I found when I used my fingers for application, I could get a blemish where lotion was first placed. I switched to a synthetic foundation brush for application and--voile!--perfection.

Wow, I am very confused with the low ratings on this product here.. Just goes to show you that products REALLY work differently for different people. I have to say, I don't usually write reviews, whether I had a really good experience or a really bad experience. But in this case, I really wanted to let everyone know this product can be really great for some people.
I have combination skin - VERY oily t-zone, VERY dry cheeks. So, it's really important that I find a moisturizer that can help me balance.
Juice Beauty's Oil-Free Moisturizer is great to use in the summer time. I do have to admit, it does not absorb too quickly (totally the opposite of watery) but it does absorb after a few minutes. And once it does, you feel like you have nothing on and your skin just simply feels amazing.
I'm generally looking for skin products that are good to my skin. I don't pay attention to trends and packaging and how it smells. In fact, I prefer if the smell wasn't so great because then it means there's no fragrance and it's au naturale. As long as the product contributes to the health of skin, that's all I care about. I've got very sensitive skin and I'm prone to breakouts so I really have to be careful with what I use.
One thing to keep in mind, this just won't cut it for the cold winter months. It's not moisturizing enough for the snow. But then again, most professionals will advise that you should use a different skin regime for summer and winter.
