Years ago, when I was too young and dumb to care about sunscreen, I spent all day on the beach in vacation in an area with much stronger sun than I was used to, with no sunscreen whatsoever. Needless to say, I got terribly burned. It was the worst sunburn I've ever seen on anyone other than the friend that was with me. I blistered and peeled all over my face, neck and chest in an awful mix of bright red, dark brown, light pink and white. We literally looked like burn victims and it was so bad that while I was out, running errands in public, people avoided my eyes and when they did look at me, you could see the pity. It was so bad that it wasn't an obvious sunburn, but it looked like I was seriously disfigured. I walked into Sephora and almost started crying as I asked the salesgirl for help, because I had no idea what to do. She was shocked that it was only a sunburn that had made me look like that and suggested this cream. Now, I know that it would have healed and I would have been back to normal eventually since it was just a sunburn, but this cream literally instantly relieved the pain and within 2 days of regularly applying this, my skin had healed enough that with a little makeup, you could barely tell the difference in color of my skin. Within a week, it was like nothing ever happened. I now use this religiously during the summer when I'm still stupid to get a bit too much sun. I never burn that badly anymore but when I get some redness on my shoulders or nose, this stuff will literally take it away overnight. I don't mean to sound like I'm pushing this stuff too hard, but I've never written a review before and honestly, I feel so strongly about how much this product has helped me that I HAD to tell people. I owe it to them for making a product that has done so amazing for me and I want anyone who has sunburn to genuinely listen to how well this worked for me. I know with different skin types, things will work differently, but my combo/sensitive skin must be the perfect match for this stuff. I cannot stress how much I love this product.

This is my go to lotion for after the sun. It is cooling, non greasy, non irritating, and smells like the Mediterranean! The packaging is nice, the price is a little steep, but I buy it each time I go away or finish the bottle.

Tip: Refrigerate it for a super cooling effect. It's amazing!

I didn't actually try this on my body, so I gave it a two just to be generous. One reason I wanted to try this is b/c Korres Yoghurt Cream is the only moisturizer that my skin can handle (and I've tried more than I care to recall). On my ultra sensitive facial skin, this gel was a mess! The "cooling" ingredient in this is Menthyl Lactate which is pretty high up on the list and a very irritating ingredient. I should not have even tried it due to that alone, but the great reviews swayed me. It burned and irritated my skin so it went straight back to Ulta. I was hoping it would soothe and calm, but it did the opposite.

Non-greasy and non-sticky, sinks into the skin quickly, good for the face, no irritation. It felt very cooling on my skin. Nice packaging with a good pump. Fragrance is ok, fresh and not too perfumed, after a while the fragrance is minimum.

I love this product. I don't use it regularly but when I do, I slather it all over my face and body like a moisturiser. It's great for the summer when I want hydration but not the grease, though I have to say that it doesn't absorb immediately. But the cool, tingly sensation that you get from application makes up for it.

The best thing about this product is that I love the smell. It just smells so clean and fresh to me. In fact, it would be amazing if they would just make a matching shower gel to this. I would use it ALL the time.

Of course, it works great as an after-sun lotion too.

I was skeptical at first but this product is actually really nice and comforting after a long day at the beach. MUCH better than plain aloe and it smells good too. I keep it in the refrigerator so it's extra cooling when I use it. Best of all, it doesn't make my face or back break out like most greasy, after-sun products.

Total HG product which, as far as I know does not have an equivalent in any other brand. As I rarely go in the sun, I hardly ever use it for it's intended purpose, however, it's wonderful for just about everything else - having a red and sensitive day? Slap this on at night and wake up with smooth, refreshed skin. I also use it on little bits of scaly skin that pop up from time to time. I could NOT live without it!!

I received this as a sample from Sephora and it's the first time I actually bought the full size after using up a sample. It is simply amazing. I have incredibly sensitive skin and use retin-a at night which dries out my skin. This is the only product I have found that makes my skin feel balanced, not overly moisturized and not tight/dry. It also works great in the morning before my primer/foundation and does not make my face feel greasy.

This is a LIFE SAVER!
I use to go to the beach in summer - and as I am very pale after the winer season, for as much SPF creams I put on , there are some days - the very first days - when I get really red ; not really sunburned, mind you, but skin appears really really red (= too much sun for that day), I applied this summer for the 1st time this super cooling gel... it more a jelly like emulsion, white-ish and thick, but it's very pleasant to a heated skin. I like also the peculiar smell. And its really mint-cooling.
But the marvel is... the day after I woke up with a perfectly normal skin, no redness, no heat sensation... just normal skin in the process of tanning.
I cannot rave enough about it.
My only complaint is the price: with a bottle I could do a mere 4 applications... well I slathered my whole body twice when I was in that *red* state; I really used a lot of lotion. However, the contents last me for a limited amount of time, and the trick is expensive, however, as i said it is such a life saver that is worth all the money!
Five stars all the way!

I have sensitive skin and I felt a slight burning feeling when I applied this to my skin at first. But then it turned in to this amazing cooling sensation and left my skin so soft. Not a great moisturizer but perfect for a after a sunburn. The scent is chanel like. Love this!!

I truly love this product! I got badly sunburned last week when I used it and I have very sensitive skin. It moisturizes very well and it soothes my skin like nothing else. I use it on my face as well and it leaves my face feeling very soft and moisturised. I'm a fan and would definitely buy it again and again!

I just bought this gel yesterday hoping for an excellent after sun moisturizer to keep my dry skin hydrated and elongate my tan. Its a good moisturizer, but unfortunately its quite sticky (unlike the korres butters that absorb much better) and the worst part is the truly unbearable scent. Its an artificial, cheap perfume scent that stays on for 4-5 hours and gave me a migraine. As a moisturizer I'm never using it again. I will keep the bottle in case of a sunburn(its supposed to do wonders for that). its a pity cause I really wanted to love this product.
I tried this again after a very long day in the sun. Its so refreshing for the skin and eases all sun irritation. What can I say, it delivers! So I'm upgrading to 5 lippies

I use this product only in the summer. I have pretty sensitive skin and when I get overly exposed in the sun I get red as a lobster lol.To me is a must have after the hours I spend at the beach.It moisturizes my skin and It prevents any flaking.I cannot consider it as a simple every day body moisturizer as it is quite rich and my skin is combination to oily.To me is a treatment, pure and soothing, as my skin condition deteriorates during the summer and the combination of the high temp.,the sun & sea is disastrous.

This product is FABULOUS! I have acne prone, sensitive skin and I even use this as a moisturizer! It is amazing after too much sun...especially if kept in the refridgerator. Although a bit pricey, I will not be without it. It feels lovely and smells glorious. I have never gone wrong with Korres products.

This product isn't just for after sun care. When I broke into hives because of the sun and pollen, I was looking for something that was low irritant and could help with the problem. I was a bit skeptical about this product but fell in love with it immediately!

It cooled my skin and reduced redness and irritation as soon as I applied it. It leaves a minty, tingly sensation that lasts for a few short minutes. I also really like scent as it's not too over-powering and the texture is great as it glides on and leaves no oily residue.

It's a bit pricey but a little of this product goes a long way. Definitely would purchase it again!

I bought this on the strength of favourable reviews here and I don't think I'll ever catch myself without it. I'm fair-haired and freckled and burn fairly easily and nothing ruins a vacation more than a nasty sunburn. So I did my research and picked up a bottle of this from Sephora in preparation for my annual jaunt to Cuba. I kept it in the fridge and it was such a treat to smooth this on at the end of every day. I was always careful to wear a high spf, but one is always bound to catch a few more rays than expected. Using this, I never experienced one of those horrible nights when you can't even stand the sheets against your crispy skin.

I love the Korres pumps. Sealed until you want to extract the measured dosage. No waste, no leaks, just a perfect pump. The reminded me of yogourt without actually being yogourt. Not sour at all...creamy and white and tangy and keeping it cool really was so refreshing. It went on silky and was instantly absorbed. No pilling, no greasiness, no stickiness, no staining on residue or clothing.

I had some left over and just used it again tonight after a somewhat disastrous day at the spa with an overactive microdermabrasion session. My skin was swollen and tight and red and on fire. I tried several things but this was the only lotion that offered me any relief.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend this product. It's worth whatever price they charge. Seriously. I love it.

To be fair I haven't used this post-sunburn, so I don't know how well it soothes and cools. As just a lotion, I find it too sticky and messy for frequent usage. The scent is nice and it does moisturize pretty well, but I'm not sure that I'd buy it again unless I started spending too much time at the beach.

When I was in Greece I got really bad heat rash ( I am very fair, strawberry blonde, freckles) and it was sooooo painful! I ended up having to get an injection to calm my skin down. While I was in the pharmacy I purchased this product. I tried it on my very sore skin and it made my skin feel so much better!
I did think it was rather ££££ but I would buy it again. A must have for summer!

I now use it on my face morning and evening! Love it!
