It probably isn't the best lip gloss I've tried, and doesn't have a lot of staying power, but I do like how it looks when I first apply it. It doesn't do enough in terms of moisturising my lips but it's a gloss not a balm...don't mind trying this again one day in the future.

beautiful little pot that it comes in. pricey so im not sure if i will repurchase-so more of a maybe. has very fine micro shimmer to it and i like my glosses to have little to NO shimmer or glitter (ghastly) in it. I dont feel like a woman if theres glitter all over my lips! it has a nice rose smell and comes out as mlbb. not to ott glossy but not so matte that it would pass for lip balm. very moisturizing! dont use it as much because not so portable as having a stick. this you would have to use with a lip brush or your finger (probably not so sanitary though).

I am ok with the scent and taste of this balm. The color is pretty, but I dislike the texture. I feel like it's even heavier than most other balms I've tried, and it just feels heavy and sticky on my lips. I've found this to be the case also with the Honey and the Vanilla Bonbon lipglosses as well, except that I couldn't stand the smell of the Honey one.

The glosses are slightly moisturizing, but in general they don't dry out my lips, so that's a plus.

This is my all time favourite lip gloss. It comes in a gorgeous glass pot which is so pretty. The colour is perfect - a subtle rosy pink with micro shimmers and it looks great either over lipstick or by itself. It feels like a balm, leaving my lips really moisturised and is not at all sticky and stays on for hours. And the smell is just gorgeous - a real rose smell, not at all fake. Definitely recommend it. The only annoying thing about this gloss is that it is not available in department stores where I live in Australia (they only have a limited range and we have no L'Occitane boutique) so I have to buy it in bulk from the L'Occitane boutique in melbourne when I visit. Retails for A$19.95 in Aust.

I am a sucker for beautiful packaging. And this must be the cutest lip gloss, in a pot. To me the lip gloss itself is more than a lip balm than a lip gloss (it's not that glossy if you know what I mean), but it seems fairly moisturing and of decent quality. The color is lovely in the pot, but on my lips it does not show much, except a lip balm type of sheen. I would not repurchase it, as I do not think I can use this up. But still I like taking it out of my bag from time to time and just looking at the lovely little pot.

i like the packaging very much. A little bit old, vintage, retro. very nice. the smell is natural und like rose. dry lips become soft and the gloss moisturize very well. decent glitter and nice pink color on lips. very decent and nice. but for my the rose smell is not that great. but nice

The packaging is LOVELY! It's fairly moisturing (I have really dry lips, no kidding...), but the colour is great. I love this rosy colour and it smells great. But it's a bit expensive...

This gives me pouty MLBB lips! A great MLBB colour also! Moisturizing and the staying power is fairly good considering that it's a lipbalm/gloss.

Hope they come out with more shades soon! However, this shade is great for daytime pouty lips!

As the other reviewers have said, this comes in a really cute jar. It's glass with a silver mettal cap with a pink and gold label on the cap. The gloss is pink. I mainly bought it because I fell in love with the jar. However, it is a good balm, it has a slight hint of colour and is fairly moisturising and I like the sweet rose scent.

this product is worth purchasing for the jar itself. immensely cute! the gloss is very moisturizing and lasts quite some time, too. the colour is very soft shimmery rose; on my lips it gives just a hint of light pink colour and very subtle shimmer. the scent could be just a tad less persistent. having plenty of glosses at home, I will use this as a lipbalm. chic.

Pretty retro packaging, pretty medium pink colour in the pot (which is one of the bad parts since you have to dip your finger in it). Smells a bit petroleum-ey and I know from previous experience that this would stop me from using it eventually. Also, no real colour on my pale pink lips, just a pleasant shine. Glad I was able to sample this as I was about to order it from France. Won't be buying, have plenty similar products that are actually more satisfactory.

This is so adorable that as soon as I saw it I had to have it!
It is such a pretty and perfect shade of rose-pink with micro shimmers in it. It really does smell like sweet roses and the little french glass jar is tres cute!
This leaves my lips soft, moisturised and subtly glossy. I like that it contains shea butter and vitamin E as I know it's a gloss that is doing wonderful things for my lips.
This is what the peel off label says underneath the pot:
"A lip gloss that combines the shiny smooth texture of a rose-flavored candy with the nourishing benefits of a lip balm. (Shea butter. vitamin E.)"
I'd love to see L'Occitane release these in other colours and flavours like berry and caramel! There's a thought :-)
