As much as I love VL Lipstain Chika Mokita, I may love this even more. The color is deeper. It isn't as moisturizing as the "lip stain," which is more of a colored balm, but it does leave a bit of stain without the dreaded Ring Around The Lips phenomenon. On me (light olive or sallow skin), it's a browned berry or berried brown. Perfect.
Note: packaging is still really bad.

Slightly goth on fair skin, this color delivers. It's dark yet, at the same time, soft. Everything about it is perfect. Love it.

What a great color! This is one of those lipsticks that truly could look great on different skin tones. The color is a semi-transparent plummy-berry with just enough brown to neutralize the coolness a bit. And the texture is amazing, It is so light and comfortable, it is like wearing a balm. I like this so much I wear it even when I'm just hanging around the house!

this is it. My holy grail YLBB lipstick. My search is over. Black girls, take notice. This provides great coverage so you dont need a liner and the finish is amazing. its sooo sexy and just-get to sephora and try it on! Im telling you, its the perfect color for us. I already bought another as a backup incase it gets discontinued. I'll be really depressed if it does...

I love the feel of this stuff on my lips - very smooth and slightly glossy, similar to Calvin Klein's long discontinued Double Satin lipstick, and no overwhelming scent or taste. However, this line doesn't hold the same wearable quality as Longo's lipsheers in terms of color - most of these seem to be cooler in tone, including Kiss, one of the warmer of the bunch. I concur with the reviews below - Kiss is a brown/plum/mauve that goes on YLBB on darker skintones, and a little deep winter plummy on lighter ones. Glad this could work for my NC35 warm-toned skin - it was the only one that did.
$23 a pop, which is a little too pricy for my taste, but again, that formula rocks.

Love this color and the texture... it's a perfect balance of soft brown with mauve/plum. Very moisturizing and long lasting. Despite the price, I will surely save up and get more VL lipsticks in the future.

I love this lipstick. The color is not straight "brown" like it says on the Sephora website. It is kind of a soft brown with cool mauvey tones. It is a great shade. The texture is very lightweight and non-drying. It leaves a perfect stain on my lips. A great lipstick, though a bit pricey. Also, it is VERY soft. They melt very easily, so this is not one to stick in your pocket.

This is my absolutely favorite lipstick! Finally, a color and texture I can now call my HG! I've been looking for such a long time for a MLBB color for my filipina MMM skin and slightly pigmented lips. Okay, on to the lipstick. On Sephora.com it is described as a brown, however, trying it on it is not. It has brown and plum tones, a neutral color IMO. It looks more brown in the tube, but try it on and you'll see what I'm talking about. It has a sheer satin finish and glides on wonderfully, very moisturizing. It feels like a light lip balm. The shine does fade after a couple of hours, but the color lasts. It's a great "go with everything color" and would look best on MMM or darker skin tones. It may wash out lighter skin tones. Also, with this color you can layer it on and top with a clear gloss for evening.
I've tried everything from Bobbi Brown to MAC and could never find that "perfect" color. Everything was either too brown or too pink or too bright. This is just right!

This is one great lipstick. Feels featherlight on your lips, but simultaneously conditions them while leaving a nice stain behind. I'd use a little lipliner to make sure there's no intial migration of color, but honestly, once the color sets, there's little ruboff. Passes the coffee mug test (very minimal rub off). Great product, and would purchase more!

This is a great lipstick. The feel is awesome, very moisturizing, light, glossy on the lips. The look on lips is also great - very shiny and glossy with decent color. The color is lovely, a plummy rose that's got a bit of drama but not too much. Perfect for day or night. Not a heavy color, more on the sheer/stain side of things, but enough color that it's not truly a sheer/stain l/s. Perfect color for me, (C3, IPF 40-50 Watts, LSF Camel). I really love this lipstick. The only complaint is that I wished it lasted better, but like all moisturizing l/s it just doesn't. Ah well, almost perfect.
