The powder is well worth the cost. This color was a little scary to me looking online, I don't live anywhere near a brick and mortar seller, but there was a sample available on eBay for $3 so ok. This is a great setting and freshen up powder color for my skin color. It is a tad lighter than my True Match 4 level foundations (I use all three depending on what colors I am wearing- woo cameleon skin tone!) and therefore has an illuminating effect without the sparkle bs. I really hate that mineral veil look because in southeastern US full sun, you look like a Christmas ornament. And mixed fluorescents are not a buddy either...
I really want to try their other colors, but the price is a little much for playtime. They are high quality though and a little bit gives a full effect. I have a trip to Atlanta soon and there is a boutique that sells the line I plan to visit to test colors before buying any more.

Money-wise this product is quite expensive! but it has an impressive effect, a nice smell and the SA told me to choose Chair Ocree because it can help reducing redness that is on my face. FYI: i have NW25 skin and I'm asian. I found that my makeup stays put longer than before I tried out this product.
But the only flaw with this product is that it doesn't come with a brush. That's why I give it a 3 and I got kind of confused with the two plastic lids. The day I bought this powder, the SA told me they're having a promotion and I can purchase the whole set of brush for $522 HKD (HKD 7.8 = USD 1) so that's how I got their brushes together with the powder.
this is a fair product, would not repurchase b/c i want to try out other loose powders out there.

I love T. LeCler's powders...they are pricey, but last forever and a little goes a long way. Keeps my shine at bay. The only thing is the containers..be careful when opening because the powder goes everywhere! HATE THAT! I gransfer mine to an old BE powder jar.

This is the perfect colour to use when I'm tanned! ( I have fair asian skin with yellow undertones) I hate the packaging though. It took me ages to get the container open, and I still spilled some powder.
Chair Ocrée looks quite pink/ orange in the container, but evens out my skintone without making me look orange, which most powders do. All in all I'm very satisfied with this product and will keep buying more when I run out.

This shade is perfect for me. I wear it to set Laura Mercier's foundation in Vanilla Beige. What I get is a smooth, matte finish that is just lovely. I agree that the packaging is difficult but I have found a way to make it less burdensome every time the tub is opened. You must first dig out the little screen which is buried in the powder somewhere. Use a tweezer and work over a piece of wax paper to catch spills. Place the screen on top of the powder, pressing down gently, until it is sitting evenly all around. When you need to get powder, touch your powder brush to the mesh and it will go through the holes, picking up just the right amount of product. Of course, you need to keep in mind that you can't jiggle the tub too much or carry it with you because the screen won't stay in place with too much movement. But I think this is the best method I have seen so far to avoid the dreaded cloud of powder that escapes when you open the tub each time. That can happen if the screen is not on top.

I love T Le Clerc Powders. It has a good range of shades to choose from & the finish makes your skin flawless. Chair Ocree looks quite dark & pinkish in the jar but when applied, it's neutral & helps the skin even out. I took out 1 lippy for the awful container design. Once opened, you run the risk of spilling the powder easily because it's not screwed on

Great product for making your face look more plastic, perevents my face from looking like a mask - i always apply this powder on the sides of my face, excluding the chin side. Afterwards i put the "Banane Argentee" powder over my T-Zone. These two powders feel so light, it's like I'm not wearing any make-up at all. IT includes rice-powder, which has been used for decades in Asia to improve the skin-appearance. Thumbs up for this one!

This is in the category as a "foundational shade". This was a disappointment ... too much like my Chanel that heads towards orange when I get oily (I'm 50 but oilier than any teenager you've met). I think it's too dark, even though it's so light in the container and I'm a brunette MMM. Since I stopped tanning for so many years, I'm much paler now (which is good!); if I'm tan, it's self-tanner. Supposedly, you wear the correctional shade first and then use the foundational shades for the rest of the day. But I will wear the Banane all day (see my adoration of the Banane shade in an earlier review). *** UPDATE 07/15/04: I take it back! I take it back! This is perfect when I have a medium (for me) tan or self tanner on. I'm a MAC NC25 without a tan. Guess I had to use this under the correct circumstances.
