I really like this and for the price(3.50) u just can't beat it.It's a brand you must try if you haven't already. I own a few other shadow colors now and I find that they exceed the quality of the more traditional drugstore brands.
I got this after my Revlon version of the color shattered and I wasn't going to spend the 9 $s to replace it .I am glad I took a chance on this, it is pigmented goes on smooth with no fallout and stay's on all day.It is a perfect highlight color on me I like it even better than the traditional champagne color everyone tells me to use. I find this a more natural color for my skin town.

This is a great neutral-gold sort of color with just the right amount of shimmer. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of Annabelle eyeshadows, which you should be IMO.

This Canadian line is not available in the US, but I discovered it when I lived in BC.
Gleam is a soft, shimmery gold highlighter shade that is universally flattering.
It also looks great alone with just some black mascara, especially on pale grey-blue-green eyes.
There are so many great, exclusively-Canadian products and this Annabelle line is one of them.

GLEAM is amazing.
It's a soft gold color with shimmer.
Very blendable and makes my eyes pop!
very pigmented and a great alternative to MAC's e/s.
I like to pair it with Annabelle's Tweed (olive bronzy shimmer) or Bronze.
It looks great by itself and a black eyeliner for a fresh look :)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Gleam is a go with anything, any skin tone color. It just gives the most subtle sheer color and gleam when applied. The consistency of all Annabelle shadows are so creamy and long lasting. I use it mostly to highlight my brow bones, but on lazy days, I also use it all over as an eyeshadow wash. It brightens the eyes without adding a lot of color. Definitely a go to item.

I'm a big fan of annabelle e/s and collected most of its eyeshadows. I would recommend this eyeshadow to everyone coz it's very neutral colors, a little bit shimmery and very blendable.

I've had this for a few years. I grow more and more fond of Annabelle e/s each and every day. Gleam is no exception. On me this show up like a light beige-champagne-taupe colour. It's shimmery but not over the top. I really like this for office wear. this rivals Mac's Shroom for versatility, I like it best for inner corners as a highlight on a C35 complexion.

This shadow is a very sheer goldish shadow with a bit of bronze in it. It's very neutral and natural on me, and it brings out the warmth of my brown eyes. Good for school or a non-fuss day. would purchase again, but I doubt I'm going to run out anytime soon.
also, I like the packaging-remind me of MAC's eyeshadow packaging.

This shade didn't totally *wow* me but it is alright. Makes a decent highlight color and I use it quite often. I did find it a bit chalky. For less than $4, you can't beat the price. I love that Annabelle eyeshadows depot like a dream and slip into MAC palettes for ease of use. I would most certainly repurchase Annabelle shadows in other shades, but probably not this one. It's not a 'dud' IMO, I can see other people really liking this shade.

I bought this on sale for $3.50 CAD because I had been told it was close to Stila Oasis. Well, it is pretty close, but Stila Oasis is creamier, has more shimmer, is peachier in colour, and to my mind is much more "wow" than this, which is just a soft beigey gold. Probably when I'm wearing it no one would notice the difference but me, and this is like 1/6 the price of the Stila shadow, so I'm recommending it on that basis.

This shade caught my eye in store, so when I came to check it's ratings, I was glad to find out the good reviews! I won't repeat what others have said..but this shadow is good in all aspects. Cheap, $3.86 at Wal-Mart, Creamy, silky and blendable formula. It looks as good on as it does in the pot. I like the flip lid also. Staying power isn't bad. For the price, this is the best drugstore eyeshadow I've tried. High quality for low,low price. I've been wearing Jane's sungloss daily, but this beats it (thought the shade isn't the same). Glad that Annabelle puts samples so you can try the colours before purchase (rare for drugstore items). You can probably pick up Annabelle, Marcelle stuff for $1 at warehouse sales.. The shadows are also categorized by finish (like MAC), this one fits under the title of "irredescent". Let me repeat: BEST DRUGSTORE EYESHADOW. Fellow Canadians, I encourage you to support Canadian brands (Maybelline shadows are crap anyways)

wow, i didn't know i'd be picking up such a raved-about product! this eyeshadow, as many other makeup gurus have said, is a very finely-mille pale-ish gold. It shows up on my skin tone as a natural champagney color which i love for both highlighting and as an all-over wash. I wished I'd picked this up before I even started to try some other brands : ) I've also tried another raved drugstore eyeshadow and it just does not compare. The one I got was the Belgian Chocolates (Wet n' Wild) palette of browns, and I felt that it just sank into the fine lines around my eye, rather than looking pretty, it just ended up looking greasy.
By the way, could anyone tell me why there is such a price difference between drugstore eyeshadows and higher-end ones? What makes it better as it's 3 times more expensive?

I bought this after finishing my Stila Twilight and not wanting to spend the $$ on Stila I decided to take a chance and try Annabelle. Gleam is a soft gold shimmery colour that is beautiful. I use it as an all-over wash. The shadow is soft, has good pigmentation and I get all-day wear with it. I love the pot it comes in with the flip-up lid...very MAC. Really, there isn't anything I don't like about this shadow and will definitely repurchase.

This colour is VERY beautiful - an almost wheat colour with some soft gold shimmer. I really wanted this shadow to work on my as it was a colour I had been hunting for a long time for highlighting the brow bone and inner corners. However I find the texture with this shadow on my eyelids a little off. When I use this dry, it seems to emphasize the texture of my skin, rather than go on smooth, giving a dry aging look. It was very odd.
However, I tried this wet and it is absolutely GORGEOUS on me. The golden shimmer comes out more and the texture is smooth.
Unfortunately, an eyeshadow that I can only use wet isn't practical to me, so I will not repurchase.

This is a beautiful pale gold/beigey shimmer that's beautiful as a wash or a highlighter. I also like applying a line of this wet under my lower lash line. The texture is quite soft so you don't have to fight to get your brush to pick it up. Highly recommended! (I love that it fits in my MAC 15 pan palette, too.)

I'm so sorry for everyone who doesn't have access to Annabelle products. They are the bomb! They're packaged like MAC singles and are of about the same quality. Gleam is a pale gold finely milled shimmer eyeshadow that's fantastic as a wash. The shimmer is so fine that it doesn't look too glittery like some cheaper brands can. Used wet, it becomes more intense and is great as a highlighter. I've already repurchased twice, and will continue to.

This is the first Annabelle shadow I am trying and I have to say I am very surprised at the quality. I think it is superior to MAC's shadows which I have never liked and have only ever bought because of the great colour selection. This shadow comes in packaging similar to MAC's, is smooth and I actually smear it on with my fingers all over my lids. It stays really well without creasing, especially if I smear well with my finger. The colour is great because I have NC35 skin (ie, dark olive toned) and it brightens up my eye area without looking too obvious. I use it alone and just add very black mascara.
The reason I waited so long to try this was that I hadn't come across a store that had testers yet. It was $5CAD at PharmaPlus in Toronto.

Gorgeous beigey gold shimmer. Love it as a wash. Soft and easy to work with and blend. A keeper!
