I am a Sephora junkie, but I can't understand why Sephora brand products are so sub-par. I am disappointed every time I try one of Sephora's own products. This moisturizer is no exception. I received it as a sample and used it two times. Both times it started flaking off my skin in little white balls. I had to wash my face and start over. Definitely will not purchase again!

Not too bad! But definately not what I expected. I did not see any difference between this moisturizer and the cheaper brands sold in drugstores. It worked fine but..I would rather buy a cheaper brand that works just the same.

I also thought sephora would know something special since they sell so many other brands, but if they do, I havent noticed it with this. I dont wear foundation, so as a primer I cant call it. Also the smell didnt seem like anything noticable to me. I used it in the store and figured, its kind of cheap so whatever, but for my skin the effects were not anything noteworthy, so i never actually used it instead of my regular products which are primarily dove firming and body shop coconut butter or perricone. Honestly just wanted to try it, liked the portable size alot, and it was reasonably priced, didnt do much but that may just be my skin type. HAVE ONE TO SWAP for anyone who wants to try it out, mine is unused.

I bought this hoping Sephora might have learned something from all the great brands they sell, but alas no. This didn't cause my skin to have any bad reactions or anything, but it left an oily film on my face that only got worse as the day wore on. I sent it back.

I find Sephora Super Smart Facial Moisturizer to be average. It's okay but not exceptional or extraordinary. The texture was a little too thin for my liking but it did the job as far as moisturizing. My combo skin didn't break out in any way so I think the only thing that killed it for me was the smell was a little too stong and somewhat overpowering. Again, it was an average product that I could take or leave, nothing special. :O/

Everyone's skin reacts to moisturizer differently. For me, I found that this product worked beautifully. I'm on my second one right now and it's light, yet moisturizes just perfectly. My combo skin breaks out easily so I was shocked when this product did not irritate my skin at all. I never noticed this moisturizer having any scent and it does the job. It preps my face for my Bare Minerals to be buffed on perfectly.
I love this product.

I like how this absorbs fast and has SPF which should be a VITAL part of every womans routine :) I can't comment on the smell because I have a cold and can't smell a thing and the sample will be gone before I get better lol. It seems equivalent to me to Bombshells SPF moisturizer. However, I already have my HG L'occitane day care.

This product is way too strongly scented for me. I tested it on my hand, thank goodness, and actually had to exfoliate my hand to remove the smell. Fortunately I had a sample and didn't spend money on it.

I got this as a sample and used for 2 weeks with no problems so I purchased the fullsize this weekend. I really like this sunscreen. It's very light and moisterizes my face. It seems to list a host of antioxidents and so far no breakouts. Currently, this will have to be my favorite sunscreen.

I thought I liked this.. I really wanted to. Not two days after trying this did my skin get extremely dry & burn when anything went on it. I don't know what happened but it really sucks.

Eh. Looking for a greay day moisturizer and tried a big sample from Sephora. It doesn't break me out. Primes my skin well for makeup, and doesn't smell like sunscreen which is a big plus. On the other hand, it seems a bit light to me, and doesn't strike me as remarkable. I said I won't buy it again, but we'll see if I find something better!

Awful. Just plain awful. My skin actually developed bumps after I had used this for only a couple of days. I'm not sure what these bumps were--looked like a cross between skin tags and white heads but *not* pimples. After discontinuing use of this, the bumps cleared up within a couple of weeks.

I really like this product, especially right now. Summer is over, but it's still pretty warm here (in the upper 80s). I have been using retin-a for a few weeks and I *think* the worst of it is over now, still some peeling and dryness on my otherwise quite oily skin. So I needed something that was really good for a combo skin, with an SPF. I use a mattifying foundation, so I don't want something toooo drying in a moisturizer. This is perfect. For me, it's almost like a primer. My skin looks much smoother, feels hydrated, and doesn't get too oily during the day, even with all the humidity we have. I mean, sure, I get oily, and I blot, but the difference here is that it doesn't get so bad that my foundation melts or smears. It seems to be gentle enough for my very sensitive skin right now, due to the RAM. I really like this product, and how it multi-tasks, as it has anti-oxidants, a mattifying property, and SPF. And for only $20! Sephora will gladly give you a sample or two, they are trying really hard to push this line!

This stuff is the best I've found so far. I have combo skin but a really oily t-zone and this is my moisturizer for both night and day until I find a better night one. The texture is nice without being too greasy, it smells decent and I like that it has some spf, although most of my makeup does as well, so I do have more protection on top as well. I'm working on my second bottle already!

I've found it best to apply it but rubbing it on my fingers and then patting it onto my face, like you would normally do eye cream, so then it doesn't sting. It hasn't made me break out at all, which is really nice since I'm trying to treat some residual acne.

For the $20 I'm not going to complain too much, this is pretty good, does the job and is about as "Super Smart" as they say. But I took a lippie off for the stinging factor that I had to find a solution for.

I was browsing through Sephora on a recent trip, and noticed their new "Super Star" line. I was nearing the end of my old tube of St. Ives Oil-Free, so I picked up the Super Smart face moisturizer, and the Super Charged foot cream (LOVE THAT STUFF).

I was intrigued by the SPF in the SuperSmart because I live in a very hot, sunny climate, and don't wear much makeup so I sorta need the extra protection on my face.

I was using the SS faithfully until I noticed that the apples of my cheeks started stinging after applying the lotion. I didn't think anything of it, but it hasn't gone away yet, and it actually hurts to rub the stuff in. I've also noticed that the area is more red than usual. :-(

So, I won't be continuing my use of the SuperSmart moisturizer. I liked it at first, but then it started burning my skin -- I think it might be the zinc oxide...but who knows. My skin is never sensitive, but my cheeks didn't like this stuff. Pity.

Overall, I liked the pump applicator and the sweet smell, but I'm gonna buy ten tubes of my precious St. Ives oil-free because as with all St. Ives products, the good ones get discontinued!!

I love it~!^^ Received it as a sample from Sephora and am considering buying one for myself. It's quite emollient and moisturizing without being "too" heavy. (I have combo dryish skin). I got carried away and put too much on a couple of times simply because I loved the way it went on my face...and had to blot some away before doing my foundation. SPF 15 is decent, and although I'm not sure about its photostability and such~ I like the dewy finish it gives me all day long. Would buy for sure.^^

///Edited on Oct.29//// I bought the full size bottle and love it as before~! This gives my face a wonderful plumped up all-over glow (I think it has silicone also, cuz it makes my pores invisible as well)~ whereas ordinary moisturizer just looks dull on my skin. It preps my face nicely for whatever goes on top, and I can get away with less foundation since this rounds up (?) my face so nicely. I will have to stock up on this when I leave the states next year...boohoo!!:(

Wow. I'm surprised at all the negative comments about this moisturizer. I love it. I have normal/dry sensitive skin and it feels lovely on my face. It's just enough moisture and leaves my skin feeling supple. I received it as a sample and have just purchased a full size bottle for $20.

I received a sample of this with my last Sephora order. I really didn't want to speak too soon, (especially after the bad reviews this seems to be getting), but this moisturizer seems to be doing OK so far. In fact, I have just ordered the full sized version of it for my combination skin. I have normal/oily skin with a super duper oily t-zone. I actually use this as a nighttime moisturizer, which I'm sure is not its intended use since it has an SPF ingredient. Personally for me - I think it would be a bit too heavy(?) for me to use during the day. Plus, I already have a light lotion that I like to use during the day. I like the Super Smart moisturizer after I remove my makeup to kind of 'calm' my skin (after using toner). What I have found out about this product is that you *have to* use it sparingly. It seems to have a wax-like feel to it if you use too much. I haven't experienced any breakouts from this (so far). I will update if there are any changes though. Update: This is my 2nd week using this, and I like it more and more. I am not sure how, but I have even noticed a bit more balance in my skin. It has helped to cut down on the super oily areas, while it moisturizes all other areas. This may have a permanent place in my skincare collection.

I was excited that this was "smart" but it's really not- it actually changed what parts of my face were dry and oily and switched them. I have dry patches along my temples and underneath my brows and then am breaking out awfully along my jawline and nose. This stuff is the worst. $20 for 1.7 oz.

I got this as a sample, used it for 3 days, and now have five or six dry patches on my skin. The last time I put it on, it burned so bad. My first use, I thought I was in love though. Well anyway, I have dry, sensitive skin, so this just isn't for me. I recommend trying before buying.
