Hits most of my high points. Sturdy squeeze tube, which can easily survive my gym bag, yet the consistency is runny enough that I don't have to cut the tube open. Perfect combination! Seriously, this can't be that hard to figure out; surely more companies could get the consistency/tube thing right.
The product itself is a bright orange gel like soap with grit in it. Now grit is a highly personal thing. It seems to be the nude lipstick of cleansers - what works for me makes you look like a corpse. This grit isn't highly concentrated, so I don't feel like I'm washing with sand. But it is grit, not those little spheres, so I do get a good scrub.
For me, this exfoliator is a happy medium. My skin is freckled, tends to reddish and gets all too frequent cystic acne. Any more scrubbing than this would be bad for me - the thought of a Clarisonic Mia scares me. But I do need a good clean, and this feels good and clean.
This is my AM cleanser. The packaging says this will remove makeup but I still use a cleansing oil at night just to remove that pesky sunscreen.
The only turn off with this is the scent. It has orange extract in it, and can you tell. Usually, I love fragrance; grapefruit, berry, etc... This smells exactly like the orange scented wet Swiffer floor wipes. Exactly. And that occurs to me every morning when I use this.
So, good product for the price, doesn't do any harm and may do some good. A staple when I am taking a break from my normal SA cleanser.

I got this product in a kit from Clarins a few days ago in boots. I was pretty excited to use it due to the change in texture of the product - from a gel to an oil to a milk! My first thought was that it wouldn't get rid of my 15hour matte water resistant make up as not much does...! However when I worked the gel into damp skin, it turned into the oil as promised which instantly took away any make up on my face. I took it up onto my eyes though I'm not sure if that's suggested - it did a pretty good job at removing my long lasting eyeliner and waterproof mascara too which I didn't think it would. It left my skin feeling incredibly comfortable & really clean. It felt super soft & looked glowing. My only problem would be that it would be best in a pump action bottle as it can be pretty fiddly with the cap when you've got the product in your hands!!

I was very excited when I bought this product. I like the fragrance, the texture, although the sales lady said it was good for oily skin, it was not. the exfoliating feeling was nice, but not through. It din not remove any oil off my skin. this product may be good for drier skin types.

I love this, large tube lasts ages i have just bought my second tube and am reminded how much i liked this the first time, i have used several other exfoliators between but this is just the best.
I love the smell and feel, there is just the right amount of scrub i use it a couple of times a week on the shower instead of my morning cleanser and as an exfoliator. I dont use to remove makeup. Makes my skin much fresher. Will deffinitly buy again in future.

I got this as a sample from Sephora. I love this product and will purchase once I use up my facial exfoliator I currently have. I won't use this as a cleanser, but rather as an exfoliator, after my cleansing routine. Maybe that's overkill, but for some reason - I feel like it takes my cleansing routine that one step further. I don't want to use this everyday, as I don't think I my skin needs to be scrubbed every day. I have large pores, so I'd like to use this a few times a week, to keep my pores clean. The smell is lovely, but not overpowering (I'm a bit sensitive to overly strong scents). It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and kind of glowing. I haven't experienced any dryness from this product (maybe if used as an everyday cleanser it would). The small "scrubby" particles don't feel too abrasive, and are nice and small in size (way smaller than the St. Ives scrub), they feel nice. There is a nice lather to the product, and it doesn't leave a a greasy residue.

For me the is a scrub rather than a cleanser! for daily use it is way too abbrasive! it exfoliates correctly but i'm not impressed by this product, i won't repurchase.

this is more a cleanser than an exfoliant but an excellent cleanser for my dry/combination tzone. it removes all traces of makeup without drying my skin out even using it in the shower. it can be used daily, its very gentle and has a lovely fresh orangy scent. ive been using a chanel cleanser but it think this is better coz it does not dry out my skin. there has been some good reviews as well as some negative but i personally would buy this product again. its not that expensive considering how good it is to your skin!

This exfoliator is excellent. I have a lot of clogged pores on my nose and I discovered that this cleanser when used in conjunction with my Clarisonic Mia is the BEST at making my nose smooth and greatly decreasing pore visibility. I do think it's a little harsh, but hey, not even Biore can make my skin look this clean!! Smell is lovely too.

I've been using this product for 5 months now. I purchased it for $36 CAD at Shoppers Drugmart - which (to me) is extremely expensive for a cleanser. This cleanser really dries out my skin whenever I use it - leaving with with patches on my face, and causes my skin to burn.
Overall, it is just not a good cleanser for my skin. I have oily, acne prone skin so I'm not sure why it dries my skin out so much.

I would buy this if it didn't cost $34! In fact, I like it quite a bit -- the scent is wonderful and it exfoliates perfectly (i.e., not too harshly). But it comes back to the same thing -- $34 for something I am going to just wash off my face. At least with makeup/moisturisers, you are leaving it on there. For a scrub that kind of price is harder to justify. Plus I hate that little twist cap -- very annoying.

Definitely more of a cleanser than a scrub. This is a pleasantly orange scented cleanser with a scant amount of scrubbing particles. Cleans well but leaves my combination skin dry. I prefer Neaclear cleanser as my daily cleanser to this.

I got this cleanser as a free sample when i bought another clarins product. I tried it last night in the shower...my skin today was so blotchy and red and dry, it feels like this cleanser tore through my skin. I don't have overly sensitive skin, and have tried a variety of different facial cleansers and exfoliators, but nothing has ever done this to my skin before. It's so bad that when I put my moisturizer on just now, my face began to sting! Again, not a usual reaction I have after using any of my typical products. I'm not usually a customer of Clarins, and after this experience, I'm not sure how likely it is that I will be revisiting that counter in the future.

I bought this because I was looking for a daily exfoliating scrub but there seems to be less scrub than there is foam. I found it to be more of a cleanser than a scrub. It also dried out my skin and I only used it at night.

I liked the smell and the packaging of this cleanser, but I found it far too harsh to use on a daily basis. It seems like more of a scrub than a cleanser to me, much more grainy than it is creamy. It felt scratchy and my skin was splotchy and red after using it. Since it's too harsh for me as a cleanser and I've got much better scrubs, I won't be repurchasing.

Been using this for years, a couple times a week, in the shower. I don't use it as a make-up remover and don't put it anywhere near my eyes. If I have a couple blemishes I actually try to avoid rubbing this over those areas as it makes them more red.. so I wouldn't say it's an acne solution.

I love how long it lasts (one bottle lasts almost a year and a half, you really only need a DROP of it), I love that it's a gentle exfoliator so you can use it more than once a week. I especially focus on my nose and chin for my small blackheads. It doesn't dry out my already-dry skin. It smells great. Really, no complaints.

The only con is that if it doesn't do a super deep cleansing type of exfoliation. It's just a great, every day (or in my case, every other day) product.

I like this cleanser very much, it's just lovely. I like the smell, and how this cleanser works, I like how it's soft granulas massage my skin gently. I use this exfoliator on daily basis for two weeks now. It rinses off very nice, doesn't leave any "film" on my skin. It works really gentle, and this is so good for my very sensitive skin. My skin looks much more fresh, revived and unified now. Highly recommended! Just please read the instructions carefully and, please, avoid your eye area! Hope this was helpful!

Nice smell and makes your skin feel fresh and clean without overdrying. But it is not gentle at all! Stings my eyes and nose very badly even after I have rinsed it off(I close my eyes when using this, and don't open them before rinsing it off). Scubbing particles feels also little bit harsh and sharp. Neutrogena daily scrub is much better, gentle, cheap and doesn't irritate my eyes or nose. I use this or neutrogena kind of mild scrubs 2 or 3 times a week. The tube packaking is nice, but easily too much product comes out, because it's so thin runoff gel.

This is a nice cleanser and gentle exfoliater. I use it after my makeup remover, it really cleanses my skin and leaves it so soft. I am really loving these products and I have sensitive skin they do contain scents but for right now they are agreeing with me. I also like Clarins cleansing milk I received a sample so if your skin is super sensitive you might want to give it a try. I am huge Clinique fan, but I am really loving Clarins products!!
