Wow! Gorgeous pinky/mauve lip marker. I love this texture lipstain because it does not lift itself up like a gel texture can, which means you can build and build the color until it is as deep as you desire. This is definitely a stain, but it will eat away by around 2:30PM. I still love it though!

Sephora's Lip Marker is an average lip marker ... not the worst, but not the best. The pros include a decent shade range, nice packaging, pleasant scent, and great price point ... but the cons include the quality of the tip, slightly drying to the lips, and the lasting power. I bought this lip marker in the Fig shade and it is exactly what I was looking for (a cool light mauvey shade) but I soon found out that the quality of the marker tip isn't the greatest ... I use lip markers primiarly for liplining and this tip applies product with very little precision (the tip is a little too soft and flimsier than say UD Lip Ink so it doesn't give a very clean line) and I also find that the stain fades rather fast and doesn't have enough lasting power. I much prefer Bliss or UD lip marker over this one. However, because of the decent price and nice shade, I may repurchase if I was in a pinch and can't find a similar one in the same shade that works better.

These get high rating from me for the cute packaging, pleasant fruity scents, and good lasting power. I was so hoping to get the same rosy/cherry color others were getting from Fig, but on my pale lips, it just looks..purple. A pretty lilac purple though. I'm sure this would be a pretty base under cool-toned lipcolors. I like it, but I'm not sure I'd wear it often enough to warrant keeping.
