i think this is just an okay product. it is nice on the eyes, very natural yet shimmery look. the cheeks are bit obvious when put on and the lips just simply look weird. prob. will not buy again but it is okay.

Nice as a blush but creases on my eyelids. I tried it on my lips once and it tasted awful. Probably won't repurchase as I prefer powder blush and really only bought this for an eyeshadow.

I'm not crazy about this product on it's own; I don't like shimmery eye shadows, and it didn't really show up on my cheeks or lips. But when I mix it with a bit of foundation, tap a little bit onto my lips, and then top it off with some Rosebud Salve (or clear gloss), it's the prettiest pale pink lip gloss. It's a little bit pricey for a drugstore product and it took a little experimenting to get this to work for me, but I would definitely buy it again.

Eh, this product just gets an okay from me. It's a bit too light for my pigmented lips, though it does add a bit of shimmer to a more matte lip color, but wears off quickly. It creases and fades quickly as a eye shadow, even when used over a base. As a cheekbone highlighter it's okay, but not good enough to make me want to buy it over a powder highlighter (which works better with my powder foundation).
I've found it's best used for highlighting on the browbone, doesn't have a chance to crease there, and it does fade eventually, but it's not super critical.
Again, an okay product, not one I'd repurchase.

I really like this product. It's really natural looking and isn't overwhelming. My only complaint is after a few hours it starts to fade.

I love how sheer this product is! It doesn't break me out, and it's a breeze to apply! I just wish the color would stay longer....It disappears within minutes after application. I know people who love it though.

I got this free with a lip balm purchase, and at first I thought I'd never use it because I just don't care for ultra shimmery stuff on my face or eyes. I'm only 31, but I have to be careful about shimmery eye shadows, as they tend to crease on me and make me look older (or like I haven't slept in a week). But after reading some reviews, I thought I'd give this a try, and I was suprised that I really liked it. It's of an excellent consistency -- smooth, perfect balance between powder and liquid. The shimmers are rather muted, but are just enough to brighten the eyes a bit. I didn't try this on my lips or cheeks, but only because I didn't think the color would suit me there. I would recommend this if you're looking for something with which to brighten your eyes a bit -- very nice.

I bought this at Long's due to the fact that my previous favorite shimmer powder/highlighter took a spill on the wooden floor and consequently crumbled everywhere. I'd heard some positive things about Neutrogena "Shimmer Sheers" and decided, that many people can't be wrong.
To make a not-so-long story even shorter, this sort of product really isn't my top choice for shimmer. While it wasn't flaky or obnoxious, and the color was actually quite pleasant, I didn't detect much pigment or shimmer. I wasn't looking for off-the-charts color and glitter or anything like that, just something girly and unique. Compared to MAC's shimmer powder or cream color base, this leaves something to be desired. I gave this a 4 because, as far as quality goes, it's good, but if I wanted a subdued look, I wouldn't wear any shimmer at all.

Big rave for shimmer sheers (all colors). I hate when my lipgloss gets stuck in my hair...so I love wearing this because it doesnt feel like lipcolor at all...its smooth and feels really natural. Today I am wearing "charmed" on my lips. It is also a really beautiful color for an eyeshadow or even blush. This I will definatley buy again. It's a little pricey at $9 for Neutrgoena, but its so worth it! I already used up another one of these (used it mostly as a highlighter on my browbone)...its a light pink color, i think it's called Mystified. my next one Im going to get is Spellbound (the light beige).

I actually kinda like the color it gives me. It's more of a highlighter though. And...the downfall....I suspect it's been breaking me out a little bit. Yet, all Neutrogena products do that to me so...

This is more of a highlighter than a blush - a perfectly sheer pale pink, even on a PPP like me - but I love it because it makes my cheeks *glow* in that sort of Mandy Moore way I'm desperate to achieve. I usually apply a more pigmented blush over top of this, but the shimmer sheer leaves a light, pearly finish on my cheeks. Wish it had more staying power and a touch more pigment, but you get a lot of product at for the price, so I can't complain. Would likely buy again.

I love shimmer sheers. This is the first one that I got. It's a dark pink with a slight shimmer. I use it on my eyes and it provides a hint of color and shimmer to my lids...really pretty! It creases so it needs to be used with a base, but it lasts all day. For a drugstore brand, this is a great product. I think this color could be used on cheeks as well, but it's probably too dry for lips.

It is a really pretty color, but it is really too light for my skin. It doesn't show up. I like the texture for cheeks, but it creased on my eyes and dried out my lips. I would try the product again, but not in this color.

These are a great product if you are looking for drugstore brands. The nuetrogena shimmer sheers are similiar to the CLinique Touch Tints or the Calvin Klein Eye washes. (I prefer these but this is almost identical). They come in a limited color selection, which is the biggest downside of this product. Charmed is a sheer light pale pink. Nothing spectacular about the color. Makes a pretty good base or alone, creases on me after about 6 hours. This is a great product for the drugstore price however, since i have the department store lookalikes, i will not repurchase.

I really like the Shimmer Sheers! They can be used as an eyeshadow, blush or lipcolor, but they perform best for me as either an eyeshadow or a highlighter. They are sort of a cream to powder that applies very easily and blends very well.
The best part about these is that they don't budge all day. They last on my eyelids all day without fading, creasing or flaking off. They don't work for me as a lipcolor because they are too dry, and I don't like any of the shades as a blush. But as a sheer shadow with some shimmer to it, or as a highlighter on the cheekbone and browbone, they are great.
Charmed is a shimmery, pale pink with a pink iridescence and no glitter or shimmer pieces.
Definitely a re-purchase for me, although the price is about $8, which I think is a bit high for a drugstore brand.

I love this product. I use it every day under regular powder and powder blush to add extra shimmer. I even use this by itself on my face on day when I don't feel like wearing any makeup. I don't really use it on my eyes because I have a lot of pink eyeshadow already, and I don't use it on my lips because it dries me out, but other than that I love it!! I have been using it for 4 months and still haven't run out even though I use a lot and I use it every day.
