Sturdy, refillable compact in matte silver, with full size mirror under the lid, 6 wells for pans, and a brush well. The included #23 brush has a stiff flat push-liner brush on one end, and a soft medium-sized rounded eyeshadow brush on the other. The wells each have a recessed magnet to hold the pans in. Perfect for gals who like to depot and/or mix and match colors. Personally I don't care for cardboard packaging, so I depot all my Stila items and put them into refillable Stila palettes. Also available in 3-pan and 4-pan sizes, both without space for a brush.
Holds pans up to 35mm, which means only Stila pans will fit... but beware, I have read that the newer Stila eyeshadow duos are a tad too big to fit! I really wish Stila had not chosen a non-standard size for their pans...

Love it. I was tired of having all these Stila shadows knocking about in my bathroom and this is great. I have the four pan one as well. Metal and totally durable. Easy to change colors around if you need to switch them around. The brush is good for traveling or on the go touch-ups but I have never used it in the morning when I'm getting ready. Got mine at Sephora.

I was very excited when the Stila 6-pan appeared on BeautyCrunch last week. (It went OOS just as quickly!) My relatively small (by MUA standards) eye shadow and blush collection finally outgrew my 4-pan compact. I like that it comes with a brush. The eye shadow side of the brush is smaller than I would like, however. I have yet to try the liner side. I think that this compact and brush will be great for travelling. I can't wait to bring it on my next trip! I like the product, but I do not think that I will expand my collection enough to need to buy another one.

I've tried the Stila palettes in the 4, 6, & 8 -pan sizes. I think I might actually like the 4-pan best and here's why: I don't really use more than 4 colors btw e/s and blush on a daily basis. I have two 8-pans and two 6-pan palettes to help me keep up with my Stila pans, but I personally prefer a smaller palette for regular use. ... and it's easier to throw in my purse or carry-on bag when I travel.
The large palettes do come with double-ended brush. One end is very nice, but the liner side is TERRIBLE! Much too stiff to use for anything other than maybe a brow brush.
I'd love it if Stila replaced that end with a soft, fine liner. (I love using the darker Stila e/s with Smashbox liner converter.)
Anyway ... Stila doesn't have the 6 or 8 pan available anymore on the web site... maybe they'll bring them back with a better brush? :)

I bought this second hand, so I missed out on getting the brush with this, which, after reading this reviews, I'm abit bummed about because it sounds really good. Nevertheless, I'm delighted to have this compact (can't get them in NZ at retail) as I finally have somewhere to put all my Stila pans. It looks great, and the slightly magnified mirror is fantastic. I feel like such a pro when i pull this out to do my makeup!

This is the only product I have ever purchased that I have never felt even the slightest twinge of buyer's remorse for. It is absolutely perfect. The case is slim and not bulky, and it is plastic and not easily ding-able. But it looks sleek and not cheap. Best of all, it comes with a double-ended brush: one side is for shadow and the other is a push brush. I think this is such a great product, because you can fill it with whichever e/s you want, and then you can carry it easily with you, especially because of the brush that fits in the container. I HATE sponge applicators, so this is such a great find for me.

The 6-pan is great since I don't have too many eye shadows. I really like the brush it comes with since my eyes are small so they're the perfect size. I use the flat end to line my lower eyes with Stila Smudge Pot in black. :) Great quality, I don't carry it around with me so I don't see anything happening to it.

this is a brilliant sturdy compact. It makes carrying your precious stila shadows a breeze (and you should see people's reaction when you whip it out of your bag!!!).
I only said i wouldnt re-purchase cause i wont need to ... i dont really carry it much so i cant see anything happening to it.

the metal palette looks gorgeous and the pretty sizeable internal mirror is a huge plus. the magnetised slots and the tiny holes at the back make re-arranging pans a breeze. the brush which accompanies the palette is pretty decent to use as well. the downside is that it can be a tad bulky.

Actually, I would repurchase if I need to, but I do wish I could find an alternative to Stila palettes that would snugly fit Stila-sized blushes and shadows (this excludes the MAC 6-pan) but didn't include the brush, mirror and cutesy packaging (and equally high price--about 24 dollars). I really don't need the last three, though the duel brush is actually of very nice quality (good for laying down color on the lid and crease; perhaps too small for an all-over wash. Haven't tried the push end yet) and some people like mirrors in their palettes (I think its unecessary as I don't ever apply eyeshadow on-the-go). But the palette is very sturdy and compact (but also heavier than a plastic MAC one). It is made of metal, and has a brushed silver surface with a silhouette of three Stila girls on the lid. It's a good palette, overall.
ETA: Just figured out that Lumene e/s pans fit in here perfectly. They're just sort of a pain to depot.

Excellent quality compact! The shadows definitely stay in their places. The mirror inside is a nice touch, but I rarely ever need to reapply Stila shdows. The double ended shadow/liner brush is another nice touch, but I really don't use it. Worth the $$.

I love this compact: holds a good number of eyeshadows or blushes or both, has a full size mirror and a usable double ended brush is included. The only drawback is that it can be scratched easily. I would definitely buy it again.

I love this palette! The palette itself is very cute: the mirror is great to have, especially when traveling, and the brush is actually useable! It's a convenient size for travel. And it's so easy to remove the pans (with the hole underneath). I also love the fact that this holds both eyeshadow and blush - you can make the perfect palette to take on a trip! It's worth the cost.

I really like the 6-pan. YOu get a brush that you can use with smudgepots (the push brush) and I use the other end for my highlighter color.
The mirror is nice and the package is slim and compact

Packaging on the Stila 6-pan is great: slim, sleek + mirror (I wish MAC would take the hint and add a mirror to their palettes). It's great to have a palette where the eyeshadows and blushes are the same size (unlike MAC which requires 2 separate palettes).I also love how the pans fit precisely in the wells, unlike MAC eyeshadow pans which leave alot of wiggle room. Contrary to previous reviews, removing individual Stila pans are quite easy. There is a tiny hole on the bottom of each well. Just stick a safety pin tip through it gently and the pan comes up very easily. I do wish the eyeshadows had equal staying power like the MAC ones, though and the price for the palettes are high.

I really like the 6 pan compacts, but I'm not that impressed with the brush that comes with it. It's okey, but just not as soft as the regular stila brushes.

i think this is a great way to store eyeshadows. the case is easy to open and has a huge mirror on the inside. the brush that comes with the case has a liner end and a fluffy shadow brush end, and taking the shadows out and putting them in is relatively easy for anyone. very practical and pretty, too.

i'm a big stila pan fan but the 6 pan is my favorite. just big enough and not super heavy or bulky. ultra sturdy with a big mirror. can't ask for more!

This palette was pricey ($45 CAD), but I liked the brush (although I only use eyeshadow side), and since it's metal (with a mirror!) instead of the cardboard like my four-pan palettes, I figured it would last a LOT longer. I'm pretty pleased with it, and am looking forward to filling up this palette with my selection of pretty stila blushes and shadows.

I like the fact that this is a sturdy metal pan and has a mirror. It has cute designs on the top. I do not like the fact that it is so much more money than the 4 pan(because of the brush) I also do not like the fact that the brush is useless to me. I only like the eyeshadow part of the brush, the liner brush is unuseable to me since I like to line with a different brush.
