This is one of the best nude-lip products I have ever used (tied with Scott Barnes lip slick in Provocative). I have naturally very pigmented lips, like a dark berry color. I've tried to tone this down to bring focus to my eyes, and also lighter colored lips makes my skin imperfections seem to disappear. The Suggestive Lip Slick tones down my dark lips to a mostly beige with a tiny undertone of pink color, but doesn't make me look washed out in real life or in photographs. It looks exactly like J-Lo's nude lip color. The formula is somewhat goopy in the container (and you can get little bits of fuzz stuck in it).The instructions say you're supposed to use your finger to apply it to the lips and I find that this works really well -- and there is a nice little mirror in the lid for application. The color is buildable and you can control how beige you want your lips to look. It might look a bit streaky at first, but after a few minutes this really sinks in and looks so natural and doesn't feel sticky. This stays on really well throughout the day, but I usually have to reapply it after I eat. I think this nude lip color works because it has just enough shine to keep the complexion from looking like a monotone canvas. For reference I like this better than NARS striptease gloss, NARS bella du jour lipstick, and it is not as sticky as the Chanel glossimers.

I'm so happy to have found Scott Barnes' line. Nude/ pale lips are really tricky for me (NC 35-40, unpigmented lips) and it seems like every shade that people rave about looks hideous on me. Suggestive is a liquid lipstick (with a texture like buttah- no other lip product I've tried is this silky) in a creamy pale peach shade with bit of beige. It looks orangey in the mirrored compact, but it's a pale peachy nude on my lips. This product makes lips look so sexy- pillowy, lush, and shiny but not too shiny. Perfect!

Another gorgeous color from Scott Barnes! I bought this along with Provocative. I love them both and can't pick a fave! Smooth texture that lasts!

I will always have one of these in my makeup bag!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! The color is THE PERFECT nude lip!! I have literally tried everything and been searching for the past 5 years for this color! I love it, it looks natural and isnt that funny pink/white color that you sometimes get with a nude gloss..AMAZING I will be repurchasing this :)

This thing is tiny and therefore, absurdly overpriced. The product itself is a little confusing because it's packaged in a little square pot, so you're expecting a hard, waxy texture and so you plunge your finger or lip brush in, making a huge hole in the surface because this stuff is extremely soft and creamy. I have no idea why Scott decided to put these into an inconvenient (though chic-looking) pot since the texture really cries out for a squeeze tube.

There's a light rosy-floral sort of scent, which I dislike and don't think is necessary in a lip product. It lingers and makes my mouth taste soapy. Blech. Unfortunately, the fragrance never really fully goes away.

The color is terrific: a very light peach with some beige to neutralize it. No shimmer. I needed about two layers to get coverage on my pigmented lips. I think this might perhaps look too orange if your lips don't skew towards cool like mine, which are sort of a mauve-berry color naturally. The finish is a creamy, low-key shine. This product is very balm-like, comfortable, though not necessarily hydrating, and the lasting power reflects that. It fades after maybe 3 or 4 hours, and definitely after eating/drinking/etc. I think I would like this lippie much better if it weren't so darned pricey. BTW: Looks best applied with a lip brush than with your finger. You'll get better, more opaque coverage that way, and you don't waste as much.

Suggestive is my second Scott Barnes lipslick, with Provocative being the first.Suggestive is an peachy/orangey beige color in the compact, but once on lips (applying this with fingers is best imo.It looks more natural and it blends better than if you used a lip brush),it's a beautiful nude with a soft shine that doesn't wash you out.IMO this is the best shade ever for a super-sexy,true nude lip, whether the look you're going for is Bardot or JLo.It feels so comfortable on your lips;like a cushiony, silky, very moisturizing lip balm as opposed to traditional lipstick or gloss.Completely non-sticky,with a beautiful soft rose scent.

Can't add much to the other reviews. This isn't a shade for everyone, but is the ultimate shade warm-complected girls looking for that perfect peachy nude gloss. Very flattering on me, NC30, and looks incredibly sexy. Staying power is about average but the shade is unique and gorgeous enough to make this a HG.

Peachy nude but not orange and goes well with my pale skin or if I add bronzer. One of the best colors around. I bought two because it sells out. Kind of thick but it stays on well.

if you're looking for a perfect nude, look no further. suggestive comes in a square mirrored container and has the consistency of a melted lipstick. it's not sticky at all and feels light on the lips, but tends to have very little staying power. the color, however is gorgeous. it reminds me of a peachier nars belle de jour in gloss version. this might look frighteningly orange in the pot, but is gorgeous on. this is great if you want the j lo lip. it also cancels out redness fairly well. im an nc35 warm toned mmm.

This is the only Scott Barnes product, I have not liked. To me, it's like lip balm meets lipstick melted in a pan. I like a lippy with staying power and this has zilch. You could get the same effect with an inexpensive tinted lip balm at a fraction of the cost.

I love this color!! It's JLO all pakaged up for all us girls to put on each morning. The color is pigmented, rich, creamy and is the perfect match to that highly sought after 'hollywood' nude. The is the only true match I have found, other colors are too pink, brown, or cream..with this color you have the nude color without looking like a corpse. I admit the pricing is a little high, especially for myself since I'm a canadian resident. But it's actually last longer than I thought and the packaging is cute and very convinent.

I love this product. After reading all the positive reviews about Scott Barnes, I decided to try his products, and I just love this one. I use it with his lip liner and get the perfect nude jlo lips. I love the coverage and shine of the lip slick, and it even makes my lips look bigger. The only downside is you get very little product for the price, and you have to apply with your finger, because a lip brush would be too much of a waste.

I had been looking for the Jlo lips for what seemed like an eternity.I read once that Scott created this shade specially for her.Wow!I had to have it.And believe me,it does deliver.

This is a peachy nude beige that is really pigmented but has a glossy,non-sticky finish. It's really stunning.I applied it with a brush and it was a bit sheer, but then I saw pics of Scott using this on Jlo using his fingers and I decided to do the same and voila! jlo nude lips which everyone compliments me on.I love this and will keep repurchasing. It is costly, but absolutely worth it IMO.

The *perfect* fleshy nude! No wonder J-Lo always looks so great. This stuff is super creamy, like melted chocolate =) Love it. Wish it weren't so expensive, but hey, to look like this, I guess it's worth it!
