Pretty! I feel like a princess right out of a fairy tale book. I sprayed this on and all of the sudden the day seems brighter, the sky is bluer, there are no clouds, the sun is shining on my silky hair, I have dewy perfect skin, and I am wearing a long and puffy dress with puffy sleeves, and a pretty cute tiara. Did I mention my shoes are made of crystal, my lips are perfectly red and there is no redness in my eyes? I need to go kiss a frog now.

Peach! This is what I smelled at first sniff. A LOT of fruit. Not a lot of rose. As it dries down, I can detect the rose note, but the overall fruity-floral character stays. Not bad, quite sweet but deliciously so. I smell nice when I wear this. A bit young for me perhaps. I'll pass, but it is a very attractive scent.

For those of you devoted to fresh, clean, outdoorsy scents, this is for you. This is an effervescent, light floral that is not the least bit languid or tropical. Although it is a rose, it does not seem overly rosey to me. You will not smell like tea rose or anything like that. More like the wild beach roses, with some crisp green elements thrown in. Soft, but tenacious. Lasted all day.

The first KM scent I've liked, a warm soft rose. Good but not great.

Extremely light rose fragrance. Very pretty, but barely there. I wouldn't bother purchasing a full bottle.

This is a very nice rose scent that doesn't get musty or weird. There is a slight fruit feel to it but there's also a deeper note that I can't catch on the drydown that gives it a nice modern interpretation.

It is a luscious rose scent--a very fresh rose in full bloom for awhile, then softer as the sun's rays descend upon it. I used "luscious" because there's a fruity element to it in the first stage. After a couple of hours it dries down to a soft warm scent with the fruit merely lingering in the background. It's like a mix of Stella and Creed Spring Flower. I know I don't need a full bottle, because I would end up feeling overwhelmed by Damascena.

I agree with some of the reviews below, it was very pretty at first but after an hour, it remained linear and ultimately turned into a cloying super sweet rose perfume. Too bad coz I almost purchased it.

Damascena is a vivacious fruity rose scent. It *is* very sparkling, with its ripe berries and the gorgeous notes of a rose in full bloom. However, it is a little too fruity-sweet for my taste, and has a slight metallic note to it which I can't place. It also turns a little soapy on me as it dries down. While I enjoyed trying it, I still much prefer the Rosines and the Creed rose-based scents to this one.

I adore this fragrance and would wear it every day if I could afford to! :) It's such a gorgeous rose scent, but sophisticated and modern as opposed to old-fashioned rose -- it kind of reminds me of a lighter version of Stella, which I also love.

A light and fruity rose scent, I was eager to try this one based on the great reviews it has, but this one did not work for me at all, something with the fruit and rose combo turns weird on me! did enjoy the dry-down after the fruit part had dissipated.

This is a very nice springy scent. It smells a lot like Diptyque's L'Ombre Dans (which is a richer deeper version of this). So I would think that the L'Ombre Dans is more a cold weather fragrance and Damascena a more spring/summer scent. Very fruity, sweet and very pleasant.

This is reaaaally nice. Reminds me of one of my classic faves: CSP Coeur de Raisin. I will definitely buy this. It's a fruity rose scent but pretty smooth and not too sweet. Something in here that smells metallic on me, but it doesn't bother me too much. I wonder if there are any citrus notes that might be tricking my nose?

I adore this rose fragrance. I have found myself liking florals alot more then I thought I did. This is a masterpiece! I described it as having a Maiden/Mother/Crone quality about it to a dear friend of mine... The initial spray is delicate, fresh and dewy... a newly budding rose touched with fresh, sparkling droplets of rain. After a few hours the rose becomes warmed by the sun and truly shows her magnificent aroma. The drydown is humble and serene. Wise, if you will, having experienced all stages of life the rose dries to a fragile end. I love this fragrance for spring and LOVE KM's bottle design. So classy and simple.

A fruity rose scent that fans of Parfums de Rosine should definitely try. The top notes of ripe, juicy berries are as delicious as they come. It then gets a bit too musky for my taste, albeit this musk is clean and has a faintly soapy freshness like just washed linens.

Not to hype this up too much or anything, but when I first smelled this, I thought, "This is the reason perfume was invented." Granted, it works with my taste (I have been on a romantic, one-person epic search for the perfect rose scent for a couple years now), and I *could* see it being too fruity/sweet for some. I actually hardly ever wear perfume anymore, because it often smells so chemical (makes sense); yet I cannot resist this scent. It reminds me of how the women in France always smelled amazing and sweet (somehow, perfume never smelled bad there...maybe it's because they're as obsessed with scent as we are). So, yes, this perfume is lovely, very sweet.
And I freaked out when I read the review below about how it reminds smelleslikeleaves of her Barbie, because that is what originally launched this search, that nostalgia! (Again, not to say this smells like a plastic doll).

Wild Morrocan rose, May rose, Turkish rose, sparkling notes, and white musk.A beautiful sparkling champagney slightly fruity rose. Definitely bottle worthy -- cannot wait to layer it with Loukhoum as suggested below. It is a soft scent yet still retains that subtle yummy tartness I love in so many rose scents. As good as the Rosines, really.

At the risk of sounding blasphemous to some, this reminded me somewhat of Tea Rose, a scent that I've loved for a very long time. Nay, it's a more sophisticated older sister of Tea Rose. This is better than a bouquet of fresh roses. Definitely going on my list of "must get a full bottle of this scent"!

I own many rose scents, most high end. This is the ultimate to my nose. Fresh, girly, not overwhelming; it actually smells like a rose petal feels, I smell red and tea roses in this. Does not sour on my skin and the light musk note completes the heavenly aura. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful light-hearted genuine rose fragrance. I tested it along with Crabtree & Evelyn's Evelyn, and on me, there is virtually no difference. It's lovely.
