Standard common cheap drugstore eyeshadows with low pigmentation that are too sheer & shimmery. Really nice concept but the colors nearly all look the same pale silvery green shimmers and none of the colors are brightly pigmented like the title "bright greens" suggests. A shame because I was hoping I'd do a complete green eye look with eyeliner, crease and highlight in the one pack and all I got was boring dull shimmer. Ok if its your first eyeshadow and cash to burn but not if you're wanting your eyes to really pop!

AH! I LOVE this!!! I don't know what ppl are talking about, that the colours are not intense enough! I apply with my fingers (I know I know, not very sanitary!) and the colours are fantastic! Applied with a brush is more muted, but if you use a eyeshadow base first, they stick really well and you can layer it on for a more intense look. I use this ALL the time and I don't have any trouble with the packaging or picking up the colour I want.

I LOVE this eyeshadow. My favorite colors would be the bright green and the dark emerald color. I like to apply them wet or with a green base if I want more intense color. They are easily applied, go on smooth, and last at lesat eight hours without any touchups. I liked the packaging for the most part, although it's a little bulky, but they're still small enough to throw into my purse in a flash! I love these!

I love eye cakes! While its true that these aren't super bright colors, they go together so nicely. I do these shadows with my MUFE aqua eyes liner in 12L (metallic teal) and the mermaid eyes are all mine! Plus theyre a good bargain for all the colors you get. Im interested to try the blues now. Will def buy again.

I love this. I was surprised to see all the negative reviews. The colors weren't that intense. But they're all really pretty greens. I've got hazel eyes, and these greens made my eye color stand out more than any other e/s I've used. Most other greens just over power.

I hate the packaging though. I'm very uncoordinated and it seems like I keep picking up two colors instead of just the one I want.

Now, I agree with other reviews about the color intensity...These are not bright greens. I would say they're more silvery greens than anything.
However, I still love this product. Though the greens aren't BRIGHT they're very pretty and true to the color you see in the pan. They last a long time, are well coordinated, and look gorgeous on. I get so many compliments when I wear these. I also have the Eye Cake in Bright blues, which i like. I'll re-purchase, but probably in a different color. :D

I love eye cakes! Especially the green! I think it gives a great variety of green colors and I love the way it is packaged in a tin..I would defintely recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice pallette of a certain color whether its greens or blue that wants great quality but not an overwhelming price $19 dollars isn't so bad considering you get 5 colors next to a mac eye shadow that gives you one color for like 15 dollars or so

The eye cakes get a bad rap, but honestly, I just love 'em. The colors are bright, the texture is smooth, and they go on evenly. I have carried them across oceans, state lines, country lines, county lines, on planes, and in cars and they have never broken or crumbled on me. Bright Greens is my second eye cake and I love it just as much as Brown Eyes. I always apply them with a brush. Wet or dry, these go on great. They are a little sheer, which makes it good for layering. Bright greens is so much fun to play with and the range of colors is great. From a yellow green to a more blue-green, the possibilities are endless. I love substituting colors in the cake for Urban Decay eye shadows I don't own. These don't have as much glitter as UD shadows do either, which saves me having to clean up the mess under my eyes with a q-tip when I am done. I absolutely recommend these for everyone and anyone. Hooray Pop Beauty!

I'm so disappointed in the eye cakes. They look so pretty but I find the texture and pigmentation to be incredibly lacking. They feel gritty both against sponge applicators and my brushes. It takes significant effort to get any color to show up on my tools let alone on my skin. "Bright" is a misleading name because I can hardly see them anywhere but the pan. Yuck yuck yuck. I'm returning these along with the other two colors I bought (bright blues and violet eyes). :(

I was very excited to try this product, but when I got it home and opened it, the shadow was broken into small pieces. I didn't drop it or anything, either. It promptly went back to the store.

Okay, this really makes my eyes look amazingly green! I love it!! Downfalls include, cute container but also hard to maneuver in. The price is alittle steep also. Colors could be a tad stronger but overall I'm glad I bought it. Super cute!

I love this product! Despite the bad reviews, I haven't had any bad luck with these shadows.
It is about average concerning staying power, and I love the colours ("Bright Greens contains five perfect hues to enhance hazel-green eyes with mesmerizing, mermaid perfection. Shades include: shimmering jade, metallic bright turquoise, sparkling pea green, glimmering acid green, and citrine metallic gold." From Sephora.)
I like to swirl my brush around all the colours, and use them as a colour wash! Looks great on my brown eyes!

I have been drooling over this until I opened up the package. It was all broken up into piles of dust. No mermaid eyes for me on this one. I tried to dip my brush into the colors and apply it, but even after using a MAC paint base, the color faded into nothing by noon. A true disappointment. Even if it hadn't broken, there wasn't a thick cake of the shadow, very thin and easily breakable. Too bad, b/c it's very pretty and cute.

Haaad to have it, couldn't help myself. Despite the bad reviews Pop Eye Cakes have been getting, I think this is a fantastic product and am having no trouble at all w/ staying power but I am using the colors mainly wet (at least the light ones). They are as follows:
Cool mint green/bright cool emerald/slightly lighter, warmer mint (almost more of a celery color but a bit less yellow)/deep goldy lime (similar to Cargo Green Bay but deeper and brighter) and a white gold (just like the white gold in BB Shimmerbricks).
