I found this very drying. It had some particles for exfoliation which was good but overall I prefer more gentler cleansers.

I bought this a while ago for two reasons. The first one is Natalia Vodianova in the add (love her!), so it´s your good right to call me a jerk for buying a product just because one my fav models is in the add =D And the second one is my former room-mate, who also does some modelling from time to time and swears that this stuff is his HG, as it leaves his skin clean (and trust me, that guy has beautiful, perfect skin). I also knew that this contains salicylic acid, which is usually good for me and I never had probs with it, as I´m also using the St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead control scrub with salicylic acid. Anyway, this did nothig for my skin, except drying it out and red. It made it feel tight after the usage and my skin somehow produced more oil afterwards. So all in all I was really disappointed. The only good thing I can say is that it does clean the skin very well, but the rest just didn´t work for me.

This cleanser works for me. I live in hot and humid Indonesia and this cleanser washes off all that sticky, sweaty residue and leaves that tingling, refeshing minty feeling afterwards. I wear light makeup daily and this removes it perfectly too. I also notice that I break out less after using it for a month.

i had really high hopes for this product but it just didn't live up to my expectations.
stay clear of this product if you in any way have sensitive skin. I found i was in such a hurry to remove this product as fast as possible because i found the stinging effect quite unbearable.
i also found it really dried out my skin on my nose, even though i cut down to using once a week it was just too acidic for my skin.
its an oki exfoliator but in the end i just really didn't enjoy using this product and although i really wanted to like it, it has made its way to the bin.

YUCK NO NO NO!! The last thing a person needs who is dealing with breakouts is to irritate the skin even more! This is a very abrasive scrub and contains salycilic acids (BHA) and alcohol. Not at all good for sensitive skin and can irritate the skin and dry it out quickly. not recommended at all. There are far far better things for skin battling blemishes. Why not try a BHA product that stays on your skin? This just dried my skin out so much and irritated it so much!

I bought this product after not being able to find my neutrogena blackhead clearing scrub in an orange bottle(in Europe). It has small smooth beads which serve their purpose . . . I have let my skin go a bit so I needed to do some serious cleaning on my normal skin. The only blemish I ever get is blackheads around the nose and chin and this works a treat. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ALL OVER YOUR FACE UNLESS YOU NEED TO ! ! ! I don't need to so I don't

When my skin is really bad I use it morning and night for three days until my skin is clear and then I use it only at night on my tzone. EXCELLENT AT GETTING RID OF BLACKHEADS - END OF STORY

I used it together with the cleanser gel.....and it dried my skin. I still have half bottle of it.......makes my skin worst.......my skin felt very clean and very very very tight.......

Used it for 2 weeks and gave me eczema and made me break out, Stopped using it about 2 weeks ago too and the spots have only just started to go. My skin's oily too so shows how harsh it is. Would never use anything of l'oreal again xx

Good when I need an exfoliation on my face, definitely too drying for daily use though. The tingling is pretty weird and I worry about getting it in my eyes.

I use Dermalogica microfoliant which I love on a daily basis - In fact I was using it morning and night so I wanted something a bit less expensive to alternate. This stuff makes my face tingle and feel clean, probably to harsh for everyday useage but, twice a week its pretty good and if anything, my skin is prone to dryness and i have not found it overly drying. I may well repurchase.

This product stings! My lower lip felt tingly and it was rather uncomfortable. And I don't have sensitive skin! Will update on the results though I don't think any result is worth this sort of stinging..

Okay, so I bought the whole set of this new reformulated pure zone with IsoBacter Technology by L'oreal (Deep Exfoliating Gel Wash, Pore Tightening & Clarifying Toner, Anti Imperfection Moisturiser) mostly because my face is crying for help due to my poor diet & skin regimes. I have combo skin (oil/normal but leaning towards oily). The brochure stated that 79% of people get smoother skin after using this products for only 15 days so i'm putting it to the test. But first here's my review for each item:




Deep Exfoliating Gel Wash


Wow, this stuff is really harsh! the first time i use it my face was all red, blotchy & breaking out. It makes my lips really drying after i wash my face. I only use it once a day due to its harshness. Instead of drying & shedding off the scars on my face(like my ex-cleanser) it kinda build a new layer on top of it making the scar somewhat apart of your skin. I don't know whether it will be temporary or permanent. You have to use moisturiser if u planning on using this or your skin will be taut, dry, red & blotchy. But I won't give up on this stuff so i continue to use it for 15 days. Overall for the gel wash i give a total of 2 lippies because it effectiveness removing oild, dirt & grime, and the fact that it keeps oil at bay. oh and if u ever get this stuff into your eyes, it hurt like hell & the irritation continues towards the end of the day!




Pore Tightening & Clarifying Toner


So i bought this and i was kinda shocked that you need to wash it off. yup, u read it right. u have to wash this toner off. It stated at the back, ' Apply daily on a wet face & gently massage. Avoid the delicate contour eye area . Rinse with clean water'. To all of you girls who review it who said the toner is too strong, give it a chance & try to rinse it off the next time you use it. :)
When i use it after the cleanser the smell of the alcohol is kinda low since my face is wet & it maybe kinda dilute it. i gently massage it like the direction said and rinse it. i makes my skin really soft and smooth! i give this one 4 lippies because it makes my skin smooth to touch and it tighten my pores.




Anti-Imperfection Moisturiser


i really like it but it tend to be a bit oily on my face by the end of the day (but then, i do live in a hot/humid weather) .the downside probably is the fact that it zing when contact even to the eye area. this one is 3 lippies out of 5.




Surprising enough, after a mix review about this product, overall it's quite good. Miraculosly, after 15 days of using my skin did become smoother and radiant. it also reduce my menstrual acne at my chin. and this is the kind of skincare regime that won't allow you to pop that zit because of thick skin on top layer which in my case is very good. hope this helps someone! :) :)

I like this product. I use it as an weekly scrubs, sometimes as daily facial foam too. It removes dirt and blackheads well, but yes it's a bit drying. Well, at least I have moisturizer to handle that. I recommend this to my brother who suffered from breakouts, and this product has wiped almost all the acne, but, it has also completely dry his skin up to the point it burns. Healed with Olay Total Effects in 2 days though, so it's likely that we will repurchase this item again

This product is way too harsh; seriously there is no need for them to make such a ruthless product, especially when considering young skin! There is no way this stuff is healthy for anyone’s skin, no matter how bad acne you have.


The packaging also sucks; I hate the way the product just literally spills out of the tube and goes everywhere! Ugh!

I gave it 1 lippies because it does remove oil and grime rather well (only because it's so bloody strong), but I will not be using this again!

Felt very nice after using - super fresh, clean and tingly - but it's very harsh. I'm left with big red, dry scaly patches on my face that a moisturizer isn't touching. I am also getting more pimples. Perhaps my skin is too sensitive. I won't use again.

Awful product. Did not seem to have much 'exfoliants' at all - what's the point of an exfoliating gel if it doesn't scrub? Not much lather, and has a strange, sticky feeling afterwards. Wasted my $$, and still have 2 packs left (bought it in a 2-pack with pouch). Yucks.

This scrub is the best item in the Pure Zone Line!
I've tried the toner and the moisturizer, which I found to be too drying.
This scrub does double duty, I'll exfolite, then add a bit of water to my skin and the gel foams up a bit to cleanse.
My skin feels so smooth and it tingles.
The scent is a bit overwhelming, not good if you are sensitive to strong scents. It works great for me, and I'll buy this again!

This scrub hasn't really been getting good reviews, but overall i like it. Although it isn't the best scrub I have ever used it does leave me feeling fresh and I have actually gone back to this product time and time again. You only need a tiny amount - beware of more coming out of the tube than you need, but I would advise people with a more sensitive complexion or who prefer creamier scrubs to buy something else.

This scrub works so well! The small, circular beads are gentle but exfoliate really well. It helped the acne I had and it left the rest of my skin looking radiant. It is also really tingely and leaves you feeling clean!
