Really nice (not so big) packing of matt black eyeshadow. This is the perfect I´ve looked for...the shadow is also great not too dark or light!

I use this to set my black Chanel cake eyeline. It creates a feathered effect and softens the liner. After knocking my makeup case over and shattering the "Black Smoke" eyeshadow I repurchased. I found the new replacement eyeshadow was "not quite the same," it seemed to be more compact in texture and it did not seem to create quite the feathered effect that the original shadow had. The case was definately more difficult to open. As I said, it seems to me, the replacement is not quite the same. I wore this combination on a trip to London with the LM eyeshadow "Sable" and felt "like a million bucks." The eyeliner + eyeshadow stayed put and made me feel "so glamorous." Today I wore a stayput drugstore eyeliner, which is OK, in a pinch, but I think I will take the time to use the Chanel + LM. I use the MAC eyeliner 210 (fine line).

This eyeshadow is velvety and very pigmented. One me, it's a very deep and neutral black. I love to use it to darken other shades or as a liner when I don't feel like having a harsh line. It's very easy to apply and not very much is needed. The compact is very solid and sturdy. It also comes with a mirror.

I love this product. While jet black liner can look very harsh, this black smoke is a soft black that really looks great as a liner. Angelina Jolie's makeup artist used this to line her eyes aling with LM black ebony cake liner in the lash line and pure white washed over the lid.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I have really bad allergies, so I use this to set my cake liner. It also helps to soften the liner and give it a little bit of that feathered look. This is the perfect shade for smokey eyes yet it subtle enougth to wear for daytime. A little goes a long way.

Black smoke looks good on just about anyone. I have a very tan/dark complexion (hawaiian/filipino) and this gives me the best smokey eyes look.

This is a terrific grey shadow. I read in a magazine (I think InStyle) that Sarah Jessica Parker's makeup artist used this color (along w/ Lavendar Mist and Silver Screen) to create "Carrie's" signature smokey eye look. The color definitely delivers, it is very soft and blendable. It has excellent staying power as well, it didn't budge when I lined all the way around my eyes, even though I used eyedrops a couple times (my contacts get really dry in bars/clubs). Overall I am very pleased with this and plan to look into other LM eyeshadows!
