This is a "serum" that is mostly silicones -- it has absolutely NO active ingredients to make your skin better, much less to "energize" it. It does blur surface imperfections, but any primer will do that.

I particularly object to the $48 price tag. For what's in it, this is insane. I've used MN off and on for many years; they have gone s far up in price, they have lost my loyalty and good will. I still use a couple of products, but reluctantly.

And this item is their best-selling product. Know your ingredients and read this label. Water, mineral oil, propylene glycol, and silicone. Oh, and ginseng extract. Whoopie.

I Love this Product!! This Product is for people with dry and stressed skin... im oily and i love that i can rub a tiny peral size of this all over and it soaks right in... then i apply my sunscreen moisturizer... I noticed this contains ginseng, which my friend told me, will stimulate and invigorate the skin. lol. this helps to achieve a noticeable improvement in my skin's texture.

(it's always good to have a friend who is an esthetician)

I really like this serum. A lot of serums don't do anything for me, but this makes my skin look and feel good and I love the scent too -- but it goes away very quickly for those who don't like scents. It is a fantastic primer for makeup -- my makeup looks incredibly polished and smooth when I use this. It adds hydration and seems to make my skin look healthy. I've used this on and off for years, and it's always served me well.

Felt nice going on, but seemed to dry out my skin. Made it kind of tight-feeling and prickly, even with serious moisturizing. The skin under my eyes got really thin looking and kind of crinkly. So disappointing.

This is my favorite serum. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. It only takes a small amount to cover your face. I usually apply moisturizer after this in the winter but not in the summer. My skin feels hydrated but never greasy. I paid $40.00 at my Merle Norman.

HG serum/facial treatment. I have tried several facial serums like EL Advanced Night Repair, Perfectionist, Ole Henriksen etc etc but none of them did anything to my face. I used MN Energizing Concentrate and my face looks 10 years younger. I didn't expect immediate result from this product since it's cheap compared to the other serums but this is the most effective facial treatment. I use it twice a day before my moisturizer. It absorbs quickly but leaves a film on my face but it's not oily and sticky and it gives me that glow and after 5 minutes, my face is super soft and smooth. This also evens out the skin tone and it controls oil. At the end of the day, my face looks like I just applied foundation on. This serum will give you that airbrushed look.

THIS IS FABULOUS!!!! This literally makes my complexion look ten times better in no time! It says results in 6 weeks but I saw them much sooner! I wear it at night and under makeup. Its oil-free ( so no worries for my acne) and it provides just enough moisture. I use it around my eyes and it def helps with the puffiness! Love it.

I received this in a free gift. I have fine lines and some acne scarring. I use this at night and in the morning under my makeup. It is not a moisturizer, but a treatment. I have oily skin so for me it is great without any moisturizer. I also use the AHA treatment at night. My skin looks so smooth. My makeup goes on wonderfully over this. I use the Merle Norman Flawless effect which is another great product, but it is silicone based and it goes on better over the energizing concentrate. If you have dry skin, you would still apply your moisturizer. Give this a try. All of the Merle Norman skin care products are wonderful. To the reviewer who said this felt tacky on their skin, I think maybe you used to much. It only takes a small amount and result is wonderful.

I absolutely LOVE this serum. It's an amazing hydrator and makes my face look incredibly healthy and glowy. I apply it underneath my MN Luxiva Preventage firming defense cream. I try not to use it everyday as it is so expensive.. I use it on average of 3-4 times/week in the mornings, and I find that it works so well, that I don't even need to use it everyday. It is extremely concentrated and you need only the tiniest squirt. On top of all of this, I've never had any breakouts from using this. My only issue is that it is painfully expensive, but I must admit that it was well worth the splurge.

I love this underneath my moisturizer. Lots of serums make me break out, but not this one. I fly overseas often and this is the miracle to dehydrated skin. This product is a priority.

I am a newbie with this line a skine care prosucts. I got this in a gift bag. This stuff is GREAT! It gives my face a healthy glow. Will definetly buy the full size when my trial runs out.

I really wanted to like this, but I didn't. Even if it does what everyone says, I couldn't stand it on my skin. It feels tacky and sticky and if you touch your face, it leaves a funky residue on your fingers. I'd have to say this was the worst feeling stuff on.
If it works for you that's great, but I think it feels like a mask on.

I love this treatment. It hydrates the skin all day and night. I ran out of the treatment and noticed the difference after just a few hours. My skin just didn't feel as moist - even with that amazing Wrinkle Smoother moisturizer. Use the EC - it's worth every penny.

What a way to start your day! This treatment product is unbelievable! I use it before my moisturizer in the a.m and it makes my skin feel so soft. It is very concentrated and thankfully oil-free (i'm a total grease ball) ;) Finally, a product that effectively hydrates the face AND eyes.

I am telling you that this product is perfect! I am glowing from all of the skin care, but I feel this is the topper. I made sure to get all of the skin care at first! LOVE IT!!! you will not go wrong! use the AHA Intensive Complex at night time you will not know what to do with yourself. You will have to call Ford Modeling and say here I am!

I just received this recently in a GWP. At first I didn't think that it was doing anything because I didn't feel anything (such as a tingle, etc.). Looked back and WOW! It gave my face a healthy glow. I have very very sensitive skin and this did absolutely nothing to harm my skin -- it only compliments my skin. I will definitely purchase this as soon as my sample runs out.

I have been using this for a few days now and really notice a difference in my skin. My skin is combo/oily and this has cleared it up and added a radiance to it. Will continue to use to see the benefits and will update.

I don't use this product everyday (maybe 3 times a week), but I love it; it retexturizes the skin and helps to boost the effectiveness of your moisturizer. Plus, it smells soooo devine.

Used this years ago and didn't care for it. Rediscovered it when I got it in a gift w/purchase. Can't believe how much I like it now. Nice serum that hydrates well and works well under my moisturizer and makeup. Great for normal to dry skin types. Nice texture. Not oily or greasy--pleasently light. Oily skin may not need a moisturizer over it. Will definitely buy the full size when my trial size is finished.
