I went back to using this cream after I couldn't find it anywhere. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT. After a week my skin was clearer and glowing and as times goes on my skin just got more even. After using this for a month I slowly introduced Green Cream (I cannot tolerate prescription retinoids) and the combination has left my skin glowing and even. I will use these products forever. As for the dryness, if it doesn't go away a weekly exfoliation product or a dab of moisturizer fixes this.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I was wowed after the second day. My skin looked flawless and glowy. It was a tiny bit drying so I went to every other day.

I have combination skin and most creams make it break out, but not this one..not at all.

I would recommend this in a heartbeat!!!

One of my pharmaceutical sales friends recommended Aqua Glycolic face cream to fight aging of the skin. It has definitely helped tremendously with that, but a side benefit is it has taken care of my adult acne. If I run out and don't use it for a few days though, I will break out. Now I just make sure I never run out!!

My overall complaint with a few uses is it is very dry. I LOVE the whole glycolic acid thing and I like how when I put it on it stings a little which tells me its working and really sinking into my skin. It just does not moisturize my skin at all. Its very drying. Its like i have put on absolutely nothingon my face. I may use it again regularly in Summer when my skin is less dry and I'll update then.

I have been using the trio kit (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) for a few weeks now and I love it. I have combination skin with mild oiliness in the T-zone and dryness on cheeks and forehead. This set has evened out my skin tone, shrunk my pores, and nicely moisturized my face overall. I don't use it around my eyes and still put some Mary Kay moisturizer over it some, but overall really love this. It claims it can be helpful to those with acne and to those fighting signs of aging. Frankly, I'm most interested in the anti-aging properties, and it seems to be working well. I have had no skin sensitivity, but that may be because I have regularly used AHA products for a long time. I am now 49, and most say I look 10 years younger. Bottom line...I will repurchase and use faithfully!

With the winter months here, and much less sunlight, I thought I'd try to use a nightly product to even out my skintone which has come a long way in 2-3 years from horrendous melasma. I've been using philosophy products and thought I could switch to a glycolic cream at night. Based on reviews on MUA and at drugstore.com, I purchased Aqua Glycolic Face Cream for a very reasonble price ($17).

I've used it three nights, not in a row, but with a couple of nights in between usage. The results have caused me to discontinue experimenting with this product. First, my jawline now has little whiteheads & bumps which I do attribute to this new product. Secondly, even with the reduced sunlight of late autumn and use of sunscreen (SPF30), my skin in daytime and even under a "natural" light lamp is highly reactive to this product. In particular, the under-the- undereye area looks "burned," for lack of a better word. I'd used glycolics in my 40's but now I'm 54, and my skin evidently cannot tolerate the glycolic in this product.

It didn't work for me. I have to say that the cream was a bit on the heavy side. It's back to philosophy for me after a regime to help clear the whiteheads and soothe the half-moon reddened "burn" areas. No re-purchase for this product which now gets re-allocated to foot cream.

I find this to be a helpful, preventable action for my young skin. Sometimes it does sting if I have an open spot from an occasional zit, but otherwise it does great for my super dry skin. My mom uses it instead of the Arbonne anti-aging set. Drugstore.com runs sales on it usually in february!

I can not use this every day, but it makes HUGE difference for me with ingrown hairs (I get them on my chin - because of PCOS - YUCK :(...) and keeps me very clear in general! It is a little strong for every day use and I can only use it at night (does NOT work well in the day/under makeup/when sweating), but it works wonders like the rest of this line for my skin! I also use the lotion on my face depending on my skins needs and sensitivity each day (I pay attention to my skin - how it feels, it's sensitivity that day, etc.), but I can use that in the day mixed with Jojoba or Vitamin E Oil. I love all of the AG products and will not be caught without them - I have just learned my tolerance for them and how to maximize their effectiveness for me.

Thank you MUA! After reading reviews I bought a kit on Amazon. Used for 2 weeks and did not see any real difference and almost lost interest in using it. Then my pores started looking smaller. Now after 2 months my skin looks really good. Some old acne scars are even starting to fade. I do use all 3 products (face wash, toner, moisturizer).
Update: Had to stop using this, my skin is parched. I think I need to use something more hydrating and moisturizing in the winter.

I've had a skin condition for years that couldn't be solved by the 3 different dermatologists I consulted, and none of the prescriptions they gave me cleared it up. Recently I ran across some information that made me think it might be a form of KP that affects the face, and since glycolic acid has been recommended to clear up KP, I thought I had nothing to lose by trying this. It even outperformed Retin-A without the painful drying & peeling. My skin is becoming smoother with each application and I no longer get those annoying middle-age hormonal breakouts. It's also faded the red marks significantly, although I fear that nothing short of laser treatments will get rid of them. Reasonably priced and a generous amount in the jar - I like jars because you can get every last bit, and if your hands are clean there are no problems. None of the sour smell or stinging of AHAs either. Of course, the side effect is that it also works on wrinkles!

Update: I have been using this for several months now and the red blotches have almost faded away! They're still there but so much less noticeable. My entire complexion is much more even and I don't need the heavy-duty foundation any more. I will buy this forever.

If you are a Kaiser Permanente member your pharmacy may carry this and give you a tiny discount.
A little bit of this cream will go a long away and you should start out slow with it till you know how your skin will tolerate it. I've learned I should only use it every other night so I alternate this with Retin A and the 2 work very well together. It's also great for elbows and knees or any other really rough skin and I found it smooths out those tiny little bumps we chicks get on the back of our arms as we hit middle age.

My mother-in-law uses this product every night and loves it. She says it keeps her face radiant. It is recomended by derm docs. Good and fairly cheap product. Nice glycolic for normal and sensitive skin. Please wear SPF on top if using in the day.

I really like this moisturizer especially for winter. I've used AHAs before and must have a pretty high tolerance (when it comes to them stinging my skin) because I experienced no stinging at all with this product. It's creamy, but it sinks in. I can use it during the daytime just fine (in winter), but my skin is normal and usually runs more dry than oily. I like the HA in it too. I buy this as part of the Aqua Glycolic kit (with cleanser and toner) from Amazon. I don't like that it's in a tub though and would prefer a pump instead.

Not impressed with the packaging. Creams that come in tubs are very unhygenic. The other problem with this cream is that it is rather heavy, so I can only use it at night (although that's probably fine considering it is an AHA and wearing it in the sun is a bad idea). I usually apply it at night as part of my skin care regimen. I wake up in the morning with slightly greasy face, but after I wash it with Clinique Anti-Blemish facewash pump, what a miracle! My skin looks gorgeous and smooth and I know that the glycolic acid has been doing its job all night long. I am in the tropics right now, so i am curious to see if the heavy cream will be fine during the day when I move to a colder and drier climate. Anyways- the cream has no smell but stings a bit when initially applied. I would recommend to get over the sting if any, because this stuff works! I had horrible cheek acne and it is gone thanks to the entire Aqua Glycolic system (face cleanser, toner, and this cream). If you have adult acne and nothing seems to work, stop using Murad, Proactiv and all those expensive products, and buy Aqua Glycolic right away. You will see results in less than a week, and the long term results (I've been at it for about a month) are dramatic. My skin never looked better.

ive tried a few products containing glycolic acid and been disappointed everytime. i use retin-a at night for acne and have found that using an AHA product during the day dries me out to the point that i cannot move my face. enter aqua glycolic face cream. i bought this on a whim while picking up a prescription from the doctor. when trying any new product on my face, i spend the first few days in a constant state of fear, anticipating the breakout that usually takes place. i was especially nervous as this is a pretty heavy moisturizer. if there is one thing i have learned about acne though, especially after years of retin-a treatment, it is that drying your face out is never beneficial, it only aggravates your existing problem and makes your skin look worse. although i dont want to jinx my progress so far, i can say that after 4 or 5 days of using this product, my face feels smoother and clearer, and in such a short period of time, i am even seeing some recent red spots from old breakouts begin to diminish. im really impressed with the results from this product so far, but will update in a month or so in case i experience any adverse affects (aka breakouts!). edit: due to the high glycolic acid content, this is not moisturizing enough to use all winter, and in fact dried my face out once it got cold. i still plan on using it once it gets warmer though, because i still think this is a great product.

RUN!! don't walk to this product. it has been an ABSOLUTE miracle for me. I have combination skin that breaks out (or used to) a lot. This product, along with the cleanser, has completely turned around my skin. I was completely going about the wrong skin care regimen because I used aqua glycolic. I was drying out my skin using pumice acne scrubs from DDF and others thinking that it was doing something...well turns out all i needed was aqua glycolic and it is wonderful.

I put it on immediately after my shower while my poors are open, and it stings a bit but it is worth it. it stings horribly if you get it in your eye area.

**tip, i use it on my upper back and chest and it clears up breakouts there as well.

the only bad thing---is that it is hard to find!! if you are interested search for it on froogle

I was a little hesitant about purchasing this item, since it was uber unexpensive. After using it for a few days, I can say wow. It really lightened & evened out my complexion. I really like the pump that it comes in; very hygienic. Upon application you might feel a little tingle from the glycolics, but no burning. And I happy to report no break-outs. Definitely a keeper. Update: I had a reaction to this product. I broke-out and got a rash.

I am in my early 30's, and have had good luck with this product. It was recommended by my derm for the fine lines. It does work well, but my skin is very dry, so I sometimes put an additonal moisturizer over it (Cetaphil cream). I can feel the Aqua Glycolic working, and my overall skin tone has evened out noticably. I keep repurchasing because if I am not using this on a daily basis I can see the difference--for the worse.

I only use this product at night since I need something with sunscreen during the day, and the AHAs increase the skin's sensitivity to sun. It's not my favorite component of this line, but it is ok.
