I like this scrub a lot. It smells wonderful. It feels so good to apply this to the face that I just wanted to continue scrubbing nonstop. In the past I had used the St. Ives apricot scrub, and it's just way too rough and the granules in that are too huge. Whereas in this scrub the particles are fine and gentle, and it make it feel as if they are small enough to penetrate the pores.

I really wanted to like this scrub, because it smells so good, it's natural and cruelty free. But after using it for about a week, it made the blackheads on my nose, forehead and cheeks bigger.
While I was washing my face with it, it would leave a waxy film on my skin. After the first time I washed my face with it, I noticed that when I rubbed my skin to try to get the film off, it was rubbing off in little white strings. This scrub also didn't exfoliate that well. I decided to try it with an exfoliating glove, and it worked better, but it left a yellow film on the glove. Kind of disgusting. That film is probably what made the blackheads bigger.

Nice smell and thats pretty much it.
No results, and I have to use a face wash after this because it doesn't feel clean.

Honestly, I wanted to love this scrub. It is organic and it smells absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I just do not see the results with this. The little exfoliating pieces are not large enough to exfoliate. They are, in fact, too gentle to make much of a difference in my skin. I have used about half of this tube and even after I scrub I can see dry flakes of skin that did not come off. I like the feel of this scrub and the packaging is nice, but I find the product itself pricey because I do not see any noticeable difference in my skin. Very disappointed. Will not repurchase.

This was ok. But sometimes after I wash it off, my face feels tight, which is why I rated it a three. Other than that it was pretty good. It smelled nice, it came in a cute oval bottle. I would probably buy this product again because it doesn't always make my face feel tight, only when I havent washed it all off properly.

I LOVE this face scrub! I don't think the scrubbing particles in it are rough at all ( like the crushed, sharp feeling walnut shells in St. Ives Apricot scrub) and I love how it incorporates fruit enzymes to also help exfoliate your skin. I use it with my Olay Pro X brush, and afterwards my face feels really fresh, exfoliated and smooth. I also love the pineapple scent. I use this one everyday, at night. I'm not sure how suited it would be for sensitive skin, but I have oily/combination skin, and I don't find this product to irritate my skin at all. Its my HG scrub and will continue to use. I always buy a backup so I don't run out. I love this stuff!

I tried this product also after using the acnedote cleanser for 2 weeks. I love the smell of this product but the texture is more of a lotion feel with scrub particles. I had to wash my face after using this scrub with a cleanser because it felt like residue was left on my face. Ill continue to use it to see if it really works.

I think this might be my HG facial scrub! I've only been using it for a few weeks but it's everything I've been looking for in an physical exfoliant (and I've tried many over the years). Before this I tried the AB Sea Enzyme scrub, which I liked a lot, but this one is less abrasive (I have sensitive skin and this uses jojoba beads which are very gentle). It still does a great job of exfoliating my skin and leaving it smooth with no residue. This scrub smells wonderful too, though it smells nothing like pineapples lol. It has a fresh, juicy grapefruit scent. It is more expensive than I usually pay for a face scrub - I think I paid about $11 for it at Walmart. But to me it's worth it since a tube of face scrub lasts me at least a year. So far, I am extremely happy with this product, and will most likely repurchase in future.

I used this to replace my st ives one, didn't like the ingredients in it, I do like that its a easy scrub on my skin, not too rough so I don't feel like its making my skin raw. Will continue using and recommend.

Love love love the Alba Botanica Hawaiian line! I've been using this scrub 1-2 times a week for about a year, love the gentle exfoliation and it's helped lighten some acne scars I have. I stopped using this for a couple weeks recently but I noticed a big difference in the look and feel of my complexion, so I'm going right back to using this! I also love that this and the other Alba products are all natural.

Awful.
I used this once, and it smelled good. After using it a few times, I completely broke out on my cheek... it was SO embarrassing! i will never use this again in my life

Love this!!! It gives my skin such a smooth surface when i use this i can use it 3 to 5 times a week and my skin doesn't get red or irrated!! I recommend using the whole line!! I love the smell everytime i use this i feel like i just got back from a tropical paradise trip!!

This is a decent scrub, it smells good and its pretty gentle. I tend to keep about three scrubs around ranging from gentle (this or Burt's Bees) to intense (St. Ives). I like the smell but also noticed a faint residue left behind when i applied toner. I think as far as a gentle scrub go I like this one, not sure I will bother to get more I think Alba has some other products that are superior. Overall a good product. Four lippies indicates it does what it ought to, a deeper clean without irritating my skin.

There is nothing particularly wrong with this scrub, there's just nothing particularly special about it either.

PROS: Did not irritate my sensitive skin. Did not cause or increase any acne. Exfoliates alright. Convenient squeeze-tube packaging. Natural and safe.

CONS: Seems to leave a very faint residue that I can see pretty clearly on the cotton ball when I apply my toner. Smell is good, but a bit fake and perfumey. Doesn't really do anything in particular and exfoliation is mediocre.

I won't bother purchasing again, though if I don't find a scrub I like better before this tube is gone I'll keep using it til then. I think I may find a new face scrub and try to finish this one as a body scrub and see what happens.

Two words: LOVE IT. Most of my past experiences with facial scrubs do their their job well, but leave my skin slightly red and irritated. For all those with sensitive skin, rest assured, this is the best product to exfoliate without the irritation.

PROS: GREAT for sensitive skin types, does a good job exfoliating without the redness and irritation

CONS: It ain't cheap

I really wanted to like this scrub but it was only so so. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It's pleasant, but it's not a fruit smell like I was hoping, it's a 'fragrance trying to smell like fruit so that you think it's natural and better for you' type deal. It does contain a ton of good ingredients but any positive qualities it had was negated by the residue it left. I did like the exfoliating properties, the finer grittiness makes it a lot better than any apricot scrub I've tried (those walnut grits in St. Ives slough off way too much off my sensitive skin, no matter how lightly I massage!). However in the end, this product actually made me break out quite a bit all over my cheeks and temples so I won't be repurchasing or recommending.

My HG scrub! I tried the burt bees scrub before and it broke me out! This scrub does not break out and I have the refreshed feeling afterward! Leaves me skin very very soft and smells very good
