I usually don't buy Maybelline, but loved the turquoise blue and lavendar and sea green colors. Haven't used the white yet, but have gotten loads of compliments on the other colors against my NC 42 skin.

I love the deep blue turquoise color. It is great in the crease with the light purple lower and the white on the brow. Still haven't used the baby blue. I think I fear blue eyeshadow after being a child in the 80's hehe. Expected better. But then I always expect better.

I can't believe I actually bought a Maybelline e/s. They must have changed their formulation, b/c I tried some 4 or 5 years ago and it was HORRIBLE: gritty, chalky, no pigment. They're slightly better now but still far from great. The colors are irresistible though: white (matte), light aqua-ish blue (sort of like the lighter color of the NARS Cleo duo, but less green) (matte), a darker turquoise (darker than MAC Electric Eel or Milani Atlantis - very pretty) (some shimmer in the pan, but not much on, so don't be afraid), and a light violet (also some shimmer in the pan, but not much on). Very summery colors -- hence my moment of weakness. Alas, still not much pigmentation or lasting power. So much for my impulse purchase. Note to self: IF YOU BUY MAYBELLINE EYESHADOWS, SELF-FLAGELLATION WILL BE ON THE AGENDA FOR THE DAY.
