I like this stuff, as I don't wear foundation most days, and this evens out the complexion without making me look fake. It is a bit oily, but my main problem with it is the cost. Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative?
Thanks!

Not for oily skin. IIt caused breakouts even when mixed with other foundation. I ended up using it on shoulders and decolletage so as not to waste it. I expected more from such a great line. I have to say, it smells great.

I am surprised at other reviews saying this lotion is oily. I have combo skin and I am in love with this wonderful product! I get the Bliss catalog and this always figures as a client favorite. No wonder! First of all, it truly makes my makeup last ... forever. Secondly, it keeps my makeup looking fresh. Thirdly, I finally found something that gives me a GENUINE dewy, but not greasy look. I use it over my moisturizer when I don't feel like wearing fdt. Also, I mix it with everything: fdt., moisturizer, tinted moisturizer. And it always works. A bit pricey for the size, but well worth the money.

Leaves my face looking like an oil slick, mixing it with foundation didn't help. Occasionally I'll dab a very small amount on my checks for a little glow, but I'm not impressed with this product and will not buy it again.

I have to say this was a let down. I love the Skin Exacting Mask but I don't love this. It's greasy and will slide into fine lines which I seem to have a lot of, at least when I'm wearing this stuff. It reminds me of the Revlon Skinlights but without the SPF and with a much steeper price tag.

I guess this product is just no good for combo/oily skin. I tried it mixed with foundation and left my pores looking huge and my face with sporting a totally unnatural shine. Perhaps this is meant to be used sparingly, to highlight cheekbones or eyelids but for such little effect it is definitely not worth the money.

I thought for 38 dollars I wouls be getting more product, but nothing doing. It is sort of shimmery, the only people who really ought to avoid it are oily skinned people. Smells nice. cannot tell if it really corrects anything. makes applying foundation a bit easier. I think that there is something by estee lauder that is comperable but might do a little more for your skin.

A liquid highlighter which claims to be oil-free, but it has a very slippery feel to it, so it makes me doubtful. It works well mixed with a daily moisturizer if you want an all-over glow. Alone, I'd use it to highlight small areas like the cheekbones and eyelids. Has a pearl pink/peach tinge and a slight floral scent. It's subtle enough to use in the daytime, as long as you apply it sparingly. Nice product overall, but I'm a sucker for cheaper alternatives that give the same effect - in this case, Revlon came out with a shimmer line which has foundations and lotions that are essentially identical and more affordable.

This product does exactly what it advertises - it is a light diffusing luminizing topcoat. I've tried it alone and over foundation, works either way. It doesn't replace fdn, but does even out the complexion a little. It also gives an allover dewy finish to the face. The only reason I'm not buying it again is because I have oily/combo skin, thus have a pathological fear of shine/dewiness. So why did I buy this? It sounded really cool (which it is), and I did not correctly interpret 'luminizing' as 'non-matte finish'. This would be great for women with drier skin, or even combo/oily skinned women who are less concerned with shine.
