Eh. The High Definition foundation. I heard so much about it! It is prominent in a Britney Spears video and Kim Kardashian reportedly wears it. "Well if that's what the pros use.." I thought. I don't have acne, I don't have bad skin. But this stuff broke me out. Not horribly, but noticeably.
The color selection is great- they took great care in creating different blends for all kinds of skin tones.
The product itself is fair. Blends pretty well, doesn't make me look any different in photos, medium coverage.
Price really isn't an object for me as far as cosmetics go- I am willing to spend whatever on the right stuff. But this didn't cut it. Regardless of the price. Cover Girl foundation looks and behaves better than this stuff.
I heard a lot and expected a lot, too. I believe that the hype is the result of very good and very expensive marketing.

makeup forever HD foundation is a great foundation specially if your going to have lots of pic taken. your makeup looks amazing with this foundation on. The foundation has a very runny consistency which helps to blend into you skin very well. overall this is my all time fav evening foundatio.
The only con i have about this prouct is the packaging which i find it bit cheap looking and the lid never stays on...
but apart from that is great foundation to own :-)

I own Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector in # 2 and #4, currently using #2 since my hair is alot lighter for the summer,as oppose to my black hair during the winter when I would use the #4. This stuff is great, some might think a little pricey for how small the tubes are, but a little goes a looong way. The tubes are ackward for storage, but I actually like the packaging, it makes it easier to control how much you use. My first time using it I was very surprised that it has a cold wet feel when first applied), but its not a problem, not uncomfortable at all,and it stays on past a 14 hrs work day, past a nap...overall a great product. The downfall is there are only 4 shades available, but you can always mix and match to costume make your own color.

I have yet to find a good foundation for my acne-prone, large pore, oily skin. I have always used department store brands like Clinique, Lancome, MAC and they have always just been "ok". After reading reviews on M4E HD foundation I decided I would give it a try. Granted the staying power on the foundation is much better than the other foundations i listed above and it does cover more it's just not what I expected. There is a trick on how to apply it. Actually, it probably depends on the user. I used a foundation brush and it looked cakey and awful. I had better results right out of the shower and immediatley after moisturizing. I found out that it can also cause blackheads and white heads if not properly removed. I usually have to exfoliate and use a toner after cleansing.Would i buy this again...no. I just feel that the look of it can be rather cakey if not properly used and watch out to those acne prone girls. The only plus is the coverage that I have yet to find in other foundations.

I got the Labshine lipgloss in D8 and I LOVEEEE IT! It is just as dazzly as a MAC Dazzleglass, but not sticky what so ever! Also it is the same price 18.00 I think that is a bit pricey but hey it is a really really good and pretty lipgloss I plan to get most of the colors if not all of them! Another way it is like the MAC Dazzleglasses are the brush... The brush is a brush not a doe foot applicatore like the lipglasses! I really recommend this lipgloss to all who love shine and dazzle but hate the stickyness of the MAC Dazzleglasses! Love you all and make sure to check out my youtube account and subscribe.. Here is my youtube name. beautymetwilight123 and put spaces if you can't find me.

I have this HD Foundation in 110. The only foundation I have found light enough for my pasty skin. Once it is applied it makes my skin feel so soft and fresh. The price is a bit steep: I paid $46 at sephora for it. Yikes! However, it's the only light shade I can buy locally. I guess that is what it means to be a ginger

I adore this concealer. Yes there are drawbacks: the clicky pen is pretty annoying and gets clogged up or wastes product; it's pretty pricey compared with other like products and it needs practice to apply properly like all HD products. But the overall results are fantastic and I have been on a quest for a great concealer since I was about 19 and discovered late nights, alcohol and stopped drinking water!
I don't wear MAC so not sure what shade I am, but think (based on other reviews) I am NC35-40), I am Stila shade F and wear No345 in this concealer. You have to be quite light handed and blend blend blend, otherwise you will look a little odd, but less is more and it is the perfect colour for me. Other concealers (LM, Bobbi brown, By Terry, Becca) have all looked close but not quite right. I do think that this works even better with the LM undercover corrector in orange/yellow applied lightly. I finish with either LM secret brightening powder or MUFE HD powder.

Make Up Forever is getting a lot of hype these days-->totally great so I jumped on the bandwagon and tried to see what they are all about-
HD Foundation-->Tricky to start, you need a great rounded airbrush (I prefer Sephora Plat Airbrush) and to break the face down in 4 sections as it is a fast dry that sets quickly. Great coverage, but 40 a bottle is pricey, application does take longer, but if you have the time well worth it.
Liners and Aqua Creams-->Want to talk about NON BUDGING! This is your product, I have oily skin that these hold-FYI apply primer before creams for easy blending!

FAVORITES: HD Foundation and Powder (silica) are good, along with the soft kabuki brush that goes with this. Many foundation colors in warm, cool and neutral bases (can't match me at n15 though.) Their Smoky Lash mascara is awesome for those who needs LOTS of volume (have to comb, but it's worth it.) Many love their HD liquid blushes (take practice to apply.) Their waterproof eye pencils called Aqua Eyes have many fans.
NOT LIKED: Mist & Fix makeup setting spray (too sticky.) (Urban Decay's version is better.)

Just bought the Rouge Artist Intense lipstick. It is a long lasting lipstick that doesn't seem to dry my lips out like most long lasting lipsticks do. The color stayed really well and 18 hours later, I still have some traces of the color on my lips.

mufe hd foundation.
For the first time,i wanted to try the hd foundation.when i got to sephora to purchase it the mua brought out 3 shades to match me.despite the strage lighting in the store i knew they were all too dark.i still dont know why stores always seem to match people with foundations darker than their skin. They convinced me to pick the least dark one which is 175.when i wore it the next day, everyone commented my face looked dark.I also do not see what is so special about this foundation.coverage and staying power is not wonderful.to me its just like my other foundations.maybe i'm not just happy about the wrong color, which i have to drive 40 minutes to return.

Ok so I hope this will help someone out here cause I wish I had known how lane this makeup is!
So as many of us are, I too am a kardashian fan and read on they're blog that the "swear" by this HD foundation so I bought 1...then a second bottle even after the fact that I didn't even like the first one! I know sounds stupid for me to buy another if I didn't care for it the first time around but I always used clinique and nars that I figured maybe I didn't give this new HD product a chance. Well long story short it's NOT all the hype you hear about! It's terrible looking in pictures btw! I applied it with a foundtion brush and after a min or two it would settle into my lines around my mouth, and just made me look like I had been wearing it all day :(
very disapponting and overall expensive!
The HD powder is great for applying as a sealer for lipsticks. Doesn't smudge my color the WHOLE day! BUT.. For your overall face powder I do not like. Make my face feel slick and shiny after an hour or 2 weird since my face is more on the drier side.

This is my favorite foundation for an airbrush look. It looks amazing with the HD primer and silica powder. I apply it with a feathery MAC brush and the results are flawless. I highly recommend this for a special occasion, night on the town,or photographs.

I used to have the make up forever powder foundation, and it is a compact make up, but it only gives you medium coverage, and the make up does not stay on!

I have been searching endlessly for a concealer. One dayI went into Sephora and asked for a good concealer.
The make up artist took the time to try several brands with me. After going through several brands and time, we finally found it! Make Up Forever's HD line!! What impressed me the most was that, Make Up forever has many shades to accomodate all skin colors. The concealer went on smoothly. I only wanted a concealer. However I was so impressed with this line I ended up getting the liquid HD foundation and the HD finishing powder. I am so amazed at the results! I looked natural and flawless! It cost a bit up front, but thanks to the make up artist showing me how to use make up brushes, my make up will last for a long time!
Hence the name Make Up Forever!!

The Make Up Forever Matt Velvet Plus foundation is good, but if you have really oily skin, it wont do all that much. I mean it is better than any other satin finish foundaion, but it's not as matte as I would like to be. but over any other, i'd take it.

This review is for Make Up Forever eyeshadow # 75. It is a hot neon pink. The formula is matte. I absolutely love this shadow. I have worn it as a blush and eyeshadow for a FOTD challenge. If you put this over a white base like NYX milk jumbo pencil the color is alot more vibrant. However you don't really need a white base. There is little to no fallout and the formula allows you to blend it effortlessly. This shadow is on the pricey side ($22.00) but the fact that it is multi-purpose seems to make up for the expensive price tag:) Should I run out I will repurchase. For reference I am NC 42-44.

This review is for Make Up Forever HD liquid foundation. I love the buildable coverage and the fact that it's not too heavy. I love that it smells so fresh and clean. I wore it on my wedding day and was very pleased; it stood up to the elements all day and my makeup artist never had to reapply. I don't normally wear foundation, I use a tinted moisturizer and that's enough. I am very happy with this one though!
