Okay, so I used this shampoo a while back when I received a trial size of the shampoo/conditioner, and I remembered it softening my hair a lot and making it shiny and manageable...well, either they've changed it since then (unlikely) or it wasn't this shampoo that did that for me. Even using it with the conditioner doesn't make my hair easier to deal with or soft like I remember from the past.

PROS:
- improves shine
- smells good in the shower
- not that expensive

CONS:
- causes hair to be coarse
- scent dies after a few hours (which I don't like)
- need to use a lot to get it to lather

I have color treated wavy hair that is prone to frizz. Whenever Shampoo doesn't cause my color to fade (I shampoo daily) and now my hair has excellent body & shine without the use of other styling products. I do use styling products, but I wanted to give this shampoo & matching conditioner a true test. The matching conditioner is great for days when I need a light conditioning, but I wish Kiss My Face would introduce a deep moisturizing conditioner in this line.

I've been using this product for a month and I can't see myself going back to salon shampoos in the future. This product has put an end to my shampoo hoarding/shopping.

If you are tired of shampoos coating your hair, weighing it down or stripping it, try this one.

Ok, I've only used this shampoo once so far, but I really liked it. I'm trying to be more natural in my beauty routine and get back to basics, so after the reading all the great reviews here, I tried this, and the matching conditioner. I LOVE the fresh lime smell, and I found this cleaned my frizzy dryish hair very gently. If someone has super oily hair, I'm not sure if it would do the trick, but I only wash my hair about 2-3 times a week, so this is perfect. It has a teeny tiny lather, but that's fine. My hair felt clean and soft after rinsing. I'll be sure to update if anything changes, but so far so good!

I love this line! It's the only thing in my shower right now because it just never fails me! I use it everyday and I've used it with long hair, short hair, color treated hair, non color treated hair, I've left it to air dry and styled it after and this line just always works. It's everything I need in a shampoo/conditioner duo. It's moisturizing but somehow my hair doesn't get greasy as fast as it used to, it's pH balanced, it's sulfate free and this is the only time I've actually liked the smell of a shampoo/conditioner, not to mention it's cheap! (at least in Canada) Love, love, love. I think everyone should at least try this. I won't buy anything else.

I have to say, this is THE BEST SHAMPOO I'VE EVER USED!
I love the fresh citrusy smell, I love the ingredients, I love the price, and I love the results!!!!!
I have thick curly hair that is unbelievable; even after I get it done, it can curl back up in a second. Other shampoos have given me temporary results, dryness and breakage, but this one didn't! I used it with the Whenever conditioner this morning, and I was able to do an AWESOME blowout WITH NO HELP for the first time EVER! I've never gotten a decent blowout on my own, but this made my hair so manageable that I could! As if that wasn't enough, I looked in the mirror and saw more than just straightness; I saw shine, bounce, and highlights! My jet black hair had gorgeous brown highlights. I thought I was seeing things, but my ingredient research proved me right-the green tea in it brings highlights out. THIS STUFF ROCKS! I am DEFINITELY a Whenever devotee now!
To those who may feel it's pricy, please know that it's SO WORTH IT. If you get them in the travel sizes for around $0.60 (like I did), it's even more of a steal! Seriously, I will be buying this again! I know I sound like a paid rep, but this shampoo really worked for me. BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT!

My hair is pretty short- doesn't even come to my chin in the front, fine, gets greasy easily and has many (almost platinum) thin highlights throughout. I use purple shampoo but it should only be used a few times a week, so I was looking for a substitute on the other days. I've been using some color care shampoos but nothing has been anything more than ok. I stumbled upon Kiss My Face Whenever shampoo and thought it might be a good idea to use something natural to keep my high maintenance hair in good shape. I found it in a local grocery store for 5.99 - not bad (as long as it works). I used it today and so far I must say I'm finally impressed with something. I had no problem with lather, although this might be due to my short hair and not needing much shampoo in the first place. I dried and styled my hair like usual and it feels super clean, has body (which is hard to get for me), is shiny and overall looks great.
Although I don't really care about scents of hair products unless they are horribly offensive or strong, I love the smell of this. It smells like lime in the shower and unless I'm losing it - it smells like patchouli or jasmine or something as I'm styling it.
I'll update as I use over a longer period of time, but for now it's a keeper.

I switched from SLS shampoos and after reviewing a lot of shampoos, decided to give this one a go (switching it with baking soda for every second wash). My hair always looks shiny and beautiful! I love this shampoo, and am going to try the conditioner very soon!

After I did some research on harsh chemicals you can find in hair products (some cancer causing ones). I switched over to Kiss my face, and instantly fell in love. It's 100% biodegradable (no harm on planet) has no harsh chemicals that can do major harm. after a week of using it, as well as 'little miss treated' Kmf conditioner, my hair was silky smooth, and looked like I should be a hair model (only my hair didn't need to be touched up) It is so amazing, and healthy, and the price is definitely worth it! The smell is not strong (it doesn't have fragrance) but you'll smell clean, and fresh. I am definitely going to buy this again <3

I'm surprised only 66 percent of people said they would buy this again. This is the first sls free shampoo I have tried, but I really like. I can notice the difference between this shampoo and "regular" shampoos. My hair is less frizzy and it's extremely silky when it is wet. I coupon and can get regular shampoo for free or really cheap but i would rather pay several dollars for a bottle of this shampoo because of what it does for my hair. Would definitely buy this again.

I have been using this for about a month now along with its conditioner. It is the first sulphate free shampoo I've ever used after I realised sulphates were the reason my hair was becoming so brittle. In case you want to know I have 3b curly hair, dry at the ends, greasy at the root.

Believe it or not my favorite thing about this shampoo is actually its smell. It is AMAZING and really lingers in my hair. Also I love the texture it gives my hair along with how soft my hair is now. The negatives for me are mainly how much you need to use (but i gather that is a general problem of these kinds of shampoos) and the price. I think I might look around for other ones since I like switching up my shampoo but it seems like a good first contender.

In the beginning I had a lot of trouble using it, so for any beginners for this type of shampoo this is my method. I use a bit less than what I would usually use for my first shampoo and really spread it around my hair. This round of shampooing won't really foam up almost at all, especially if my head is greasy. Then I rinse and use small chickpea size blobs to cover the front and crown, then the back of my head. I find this is the best method to get a good lather going and remove all the grease, by focusing or separate parts of my head. Afterwards I use a lot of the conditioner, almost 2x and much I regularly would and let it sit for a good 3 min. Then my hair is so amazingly silky and shiny, i love it!

I was looking for an SLS-free shampoo as I find this ingredient makes me break out around my scalp. I love this stuff paired with the conditioner. Just a nice daily shampoo, get's my hair clean without drying it out. Will repurchase, probably from Walmart instead of Shoppers though as it is too expensive there, as with most of their products in comparison.

Nice shampoo, needs a bit of working into the scalp to get it clean but that's like every SLS free shampoo anyway. I prefer the scent of Miss Treated but this is nice as well. Leaves my hair squeaky clean.

Pleasant scent. When shampooing product doesn't run and drip everywhere; stays in hair and where I'm massaging into scalp. Doesn't irritate my scalp. Hair feels a little dry after use, but clean with no residue.

I grabbed a bottle of this on a whim in Wal-Mart one day, and have been very pleasantly surprised. My hair is ridiculous -- super-thick, coarse, frizzy with oily scalp & roots but dry ends. I was beginning to think it was impossible to find a shampoo that would leave my hair feeling clean & soft without making my head break out. But this one does the trick! Add to that no offensive smell and natural ingredients, we've got ourselves a winner.

I have a tendency towards oily hair. And this "Whenever" shampoo by Kiss My Face works perfectly for me.

After shampooing my hair with this product, my hair looks shiny, healthy and full of life. It also makes my hair feel very smooth and as a result I have not been using any conditioner after shampooing with this product because my hair doesn't need any! Which is great, no need for conditioner after using this product I think that says it all right there. The majority of shampoos on the market make my hair feel like it has been stripped. Even other organic shampoos that I have tried don't leave my hair feeling as great as this product.

I have used all kinds of shampoos many very high end promising me the world and then some but no shampoo has given my hair such life and vitality as this one.

I strongly recommend this product.

Great scent, however, very drying for my fine oily hair. Dried my scalp out like nothing else. The newer plastic bottles seem really flimsy as well.

UPDATE: This is now my favorite shampoo (and conditioner). It is so gentle yet very effective and my hair is looking better than it ever has. I still mix it up, almost never using the same shampoo/conditioner two days in a row, but this is one I find myself using multiple times a week. Love it.

I really like this shampoo. I have shoulder length, fine, straight, dyed blonde hair and this does a good job of moisturizing it w/out weighing it down. I think it lathers just fine for a natural shampoo, and I don't have to use a ton of it like a lot of other shampoos I use. I will definitely buy this again. There's even a 32oz version w/ a pump available for around 11$ on online drug stores.

I adore KMF products, because of their all natural ingrediants, my skin and scalp are happy for once in my life. I do use the shampoo with a conditioner; as daily use of any shampoo will dry your hair out. The one thing I truly adore and got me hooked however was that with all other shampoos I felt like in the process of washing my hair I was finding ten or so strangs of hair stuck to my fingers just happened to "fall out" in the shower. Now, I barely find any. I think over all the shampoo is better for maintaing healthy, intact hair.

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews that this shampoo has gotten. I have medium length, fine hair and I don't get knots and tangles like a lot of people complain about. It makes my hair soft and managable and the smell is amazing! Like lime jello :) I always make sure that my hair is combed before I get into the shower, and when I wash my hair I don't rub it around that much, just enough to get a lather... If people expect this to lather a lot, this may disappoint you. Also if you run your fingers through your hair while the shampoo is still in, then rinse and squeze your hair dry, you shouldn't have many tangles. Sometimes I wonder if it's the way people wash their hair that gives this shampoo such bad reviews as opposed to the actual product itself....
