I consider myself very resistant to buying products based on stunning packaging or clever names but...
Did anyone else get the Valley of the Dolls reference on the name of this one?! I was a sucker for that reference alone and so I bought this. Does a fair amount of plumping, nothing spectacular. Nice color, not really "barely pink" at all. Average all around. But the name sure got me! I get it Boots! Good one, really!

This lipgloss is too bright of a pink for my asian skintone (NC30/35). It makes me look like a doll. Even when I mix this with my other lipglosses, it's too bright. A lovely colour though

After trying "In the nude" and finding it too shimmery, I went back and chose this. "Barely Pink" is not actually that pink at all - I have Yves Saint Laurent lisse gloss in #2 "nude" and this one is just a little darker and slightly less peachy. It gives me a hint of warm colour with no shimmer. The texture is very good and it wears OK (it is a gloss after all). I'm very pleased especially since it is sooo cheap!
