I cannot say enough about this product! I know lots of you didn't feel it was very effective, but I'm 47 and have used it DAILY since I was 16! Not for wrinkles or eye contour, but specifically for under eye puffiness. It is the ONLY eye gel I ever used (and I've tried em all) that (1) does not irritate my eyes, and (2) is noticeably effective at minimizing puffiness in the AM!

I use this product every time I wake up with puffy eyes due to lack of sleep, too much reading or surfing on the net, or allergies. It works like a charm in reducing and soothing my puffy eyes. However, it does not live up to its claim of reducing dark circles under the eyes. It does not compare with Auriga Cernor XO, which unfortunately, I ran out of and I can only get from UK.
For reduction of eye puffiness, I think there are similar or even better products than this one at around the same or lower price. I will be searching and will not re-buy this product once it runs out.

I really love this product and I believe that negative reviews are not deserved. Clarins specifically designed it for hot summer months, thus you can not expect extreme moisture from it. I got so tired and dissatisfied of my heavy greasy eye creams during these hot summer months and was so happy to find this wonderful product. It is a cooling gel like eye cream which soothes your eyes, cools them down during these summer heat, reduces the puffiness a lot (an we drink so much water in summer). It is recommendable to use it in the morning, since the cooling and reduced puffiness effects last all day long, it is lovely, small convenient packaging, lovely smell, and all the effects I was looking for my eyes in summer (cooling my eyes, soothes it, reduces puffiness and dark circles, very lightweight, absorbs instantly, smells divine and heals my irritated itchy eyes). My Clinique's "All About Eyes" cream is left aside for colder autumn months and I am really enjoying this product during these hot summer months. I highly recommend it to girls, who look for lightweight, cooling eye gel for summer, it works perfectly with my eye make-up (while other eye creams were leaving me with raccoon eyes. If you are tired of heavy greasy eye creams, buy this one and enjoy it's amazing benefits ^^

I work in a department store cosmetics department, and was looking for a new eye cream. All the ones I had previously tried were too heavy for my eyes during the day (I am currently alternating between Lancome's Genifique and Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair eye at night with good results). Everything I had tried for a day time eye cream just made my mascara give me raccoon eyes (not at all attractive). So when one of my coworkers mentioned that Clarins had a good one that worked well for oily skin, I decided to give it a try. At $35, it's really not too expensive, especially for a department store eye cream. However, this actually burned my skin, leaving my eye area with serious irritation that I had to fix with Neosporin (ew). I used it exactly as recommended, and my skin really isn't sensitive. I have no idea why this worked so poorly on my skin, but I returned it today.

It helps to reduce dark cycles and bags under eyes; it is not 100% efficient, but it works good; I would buy it again

I used this product every morning for one year, so I feel that 20 mL is adequate for me. Even though the price is high compared to other eye creams, the fact that the product could last me an entire year makes it seem more 'worth it'. However, this gel did nothing for me. I have very dark under eye circles and eye bags, and even after using this product for an entire year, I see no difference in before and after.

This works, unlike ALL other eye creams/gels I've tried. Woke up looking like death, put this on before my makeup and left it for ten minutes, and voila, I looked like a human being again. It's def worth the price.

All Clarins products smell good, but I felt this product is 100% not worth the money. It is kind of gluey and noticeable when on as well. Does nothing for my dark circles.

The best eye cream I've ever tried. It works instantly. As I put it on, I watch my skin under eyes become more hydrated and see wrinkles disappear for a few minutes, then they come back but look diminished for a few hours. My eyes started getting increasingly puffier since age 25. Now I am 35. I tried an endless number of eye products - this one has worked the best for me. I sometimes keep it in the fridge and apply cold. Unfortunately, I've learned that not much can be done about eye puffiness - it's your genetics and aging. No cream will make your bags disappear completely. However, a combination of prolonged exercise for at least 1.5 - 2 hours that includes swimming, cold eye compress, preparation H on your eyelids in the morning, and Clarins eye gel two times a day, eye massage with the tips of my fingers and/or with a chamomile ice cube works the best it can be. However, nothing can reverse aging. If you are lazy and don't do the whole eye puffiness reduction program that I described - no cream alone will help. Also, drink a lot of liquids from 6 am to 7 pm, drink herbal diuretic teas, eat diuretic foods like asparagus and watermelon, and avoid salt for salt retains water in your body, and drinking liquids after 7 pm will lead to more puffiness in the morning.

I suffer from very bad puffy eyes in the mornings, which drain by midday and turn into wrinkly, crinkly, dark circles. Not a good look. This gel did nothing to fix my problem.
The best thing I can say about this product is that it has a nice, cooling effect on the eye area - but then, so does a slice of cucumber, and cucumber is much cheaper. Actually, if you look up the ingredients list for this product, the main ingredients are cucumber extract and caffeine (and there are other, cheaper roll-on products containing caffeine).
Furthermore, I echo what others have said - that the packaging sucks. You squeeze it, and you either get too much, or too little (at which point you squeeze some more and then get too much . . .). I would not recommend this product because 1. It did nothing for me 2. the packaging sucks and 3. it's very expensive (considering 1 and 2). I expected it to be much better.
Edit: Adding an extra lipstick because at least it doesn't irritate my eye area. I tried Guerlain Super Aqua Eye and it burnt the skin around my eyes, which I'm now soothing with this gel.

Did anyone see any difference using this product?
I didn't.
I do not have wrinkles under my eyes, but being a busy University student, I do lack sleep and have big black circles, which I normally hide with concealer.
I wanted to get a cream or gel that would help diminish the appearance of those circles, and keep the skin stronger in the eye area.
This clearly did not perform any of these tasks.
Even the packaging was irritating. Everytime you would try to get a small amount out, five times what you needed would pour out. A big waste of money in my opinion.
After running out of this product, I simply did not repurchase an eye cream, and did not perceive any difference in the eye area.
Telling you that sometimes, no cream is better.
I tried Chanel, Biotherm, Avene, La Roche Posay and Clarins (which was probably the worst of all).
Now, I'm just living with concealer, making everything simpler.

Has a definite cooling effect on eye area. But no noticeable impact on under eye darkness. So nothing special.

it's an okay eye cream, but for the price you're paying, i suggest skipping this and go look for some other better eye creams out there. it probably helped the dark circles a little, but not effective enough for me to repurchase.

Extremely disappointed by this product. I used this product every morning for a number of weeks (applying it exactly as I had been shown in store) and it did absolutely nothing! I love treating myself to Clarins products now and then but doubt I will be investing in their eye products again.

I haven't even finished the tube. I don't mind so much that it has no effect on dark circles (which I do have) and puffiness (which I don't). But it isn't nearly moisturising enough and the consistency is so liquid and slow to sink in that it's just annoying.

I have never had a problem with dark circles so i can not comment how it works on it. I have only needed a moisturizer and this felt good coolning and moisturised the skin around my eyes. I liked it but itīs too expensive and not worth the price, at least not here in Sweden.

This product has done a fabulous job on my dark circles. I use it just in the morning before I put on my moisturizer. There's been a noticable difference to where I don't even wear concealer anymore. Clarins is a pricey line overall but I'm willing to pay for something that works.

This gel may do the job when it comes to puffiness but it does NOT take care of dark undereye circles at all. The packaging is ok though, it comes in a hygienic tube but don't squeeze the tube to hard or you'll end up with way to much product. I will not buy this again because it didn't live up to my expectations. Or to be more accurate and honest: the expectations the saleswomen instilled in me.

Wow. Can't believe I got suckered into spending so much on an ineffective eye cream. This did nothing at all for me. In fact, not having enough moisture in my eye area made my lines much more visible, so using this product actually made me look worse. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've been using the Walgreen's knock-off of an Olay eye cream, and while it's far from perfect, it is far better than the crap I spent an arm and a leg on.
