This shampoo is OK.
It doesn't do anything bad to my hair, but it doesn't do anything amazing either.
It smells ok, I don't love it, but I don't think it smells bad.
It washes my hair... that's about it.

My hair is highlighted and naturally wavy, thick, and just naturally lacks shine because of it's texture, so I'm always on the hunt for products that help with that. This duo has been wonderful, it doesn't weigh hair down but it actually moisturizes very well. My hair felt soft after shampooing, and with the added conditioner, it felt SUPER soft! Also, this has a lovely soft clean scent! You get a HUGE bottle for CHEAP! I will definitely repurchase!

This product is not bad but not the best one out there. :/ My hair is a bob cut, thick, short, and barely wavy. It did make my hair ALOT softer and more moisturized then the dove shampoo and conditioner I was using before. My ends are still dry though and my hair is still a little frizzy. the price is pretty cheap so overall its good for the price. im going to try their smooth and silky line though and see how that goes.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner! I use it on my thick hair and my mom can use it on her more thin hair and we both love it! It cleans my hair super well and when im done, my hair is soft smooth and silky! The smell is fine, its not too strong, but it is still a pleasant smell. My hair seems to be healthy. I bought this because i have been trying out different shampoos trying to find the one that i like the most, and this one is pretty good! I haven't had any bad experiences with it! I think that the shampoo and conditioner are great!

I personally have dry hair and scalp and I thought this was going to help, but in the end this shampoo didn't help at all and probably made me hair drier than it already was in the first place.

This shampoo made my hair a tangled nest, took every bit of moisture and left my scalp on fire, also stripped my haircolor, now I have brassy brown hair, I had to pour tons of conditioner on my head to be able to detangle it and when I was finally finished.half of my hair was stuck to my wide tooth comb, never ever again. Now that my hair is dry I can see that I am still loosing lots of strands. Tresemme doesn't work for my hair at all.

I absolutely love this shampoo, I have dark tightly coiled black hair and I prefer it over shampoos specifically for my hair type. I love the smell, the way it lathers, I've never used it without the matching conditioner, because that would be hair suicide for me. Ive been using this for three years and I will never switch. Advice: to avoid dry hair, always use the matching conditioner. This is a quality salon product there shouldn't really be any problems when using both in normal to fine hair, especially if I can use it on my coiled hair. Highly recommend this to anyone.

PROS: Not sure I have many pros for this except that it's not terrible. It could have been more drying than it was, I guess. It's very inexpensive.
CONS: Pretty drying for what is supposed to be a moisture rich shampoo.
ALTERNATES: Any of the suave alternates for dry hair would be better, in my opinion. I really like the new Tresemme one for split end repair called Split Remedy, I think.

Hate this. This stripped my relaxed hair and left it dry. My hair and scalp were so dry I got crazy drandruff! I only bought this cause it was on sale. Now theres too huge tubs in my bathroom. Yuck.

I bought the generic version at my local Dollar General, at $2.50 for the shampoo and $2.50 for the conditioner. Both a BIG 32oz. bottle. Not too bad, but NOTHING special either. I mean, it's not like I'd ring-a-ling anybody up and say, "Go and pick some up!" Uhm, NO. This is just your everyday BASIC stuff. Maybe a bit better than those cheapie Suave's and V05's(still can't believe I've used those drying things!). It smells nice and cleanses well. The conditioner isn't really that moisturizing. Like I said, it's the basic stuff. I only purchased this set because Dollar General is closest to my home(out here in the middle of nowhereville)and it was cheap(I mean, it's a 32oz! Who wouldn't be tempted!) My son used it and had better results. His hair looked super clean and shiny. Felt real nice and soft, too. I color my hair, so I NEED much more moisture than this set provides, such as the MOTIONS hair products. Not bad, just not so great either. Average. But then, to be honest, most hair products have proven to be just that, "average". With all of my hair problems, it would take a rocket scientist to come up with something fantastic! UPDATE:Thought I'd mention, since using the "REAL" stuff, it works MUCH better, than did the Dollar General version. The Dollar General version lists herbs as a few of the ingredients. None are in the TRESemme version. Dollar General's has more ingredients. They both smell exactly the same, but TRESemme seems to be less drying for my hair. Herbal shampoos/conditioners were always more drying for my hair. Hair feels clean and soft! Upped to a 4! Oh, and the TRESemme is a HUGER bottle at 39oz and it has a pump! I got my set at Target, each at $5.99.

I change shampoo and conditioner often and usually it's not a problem. Other drugstore brands eg Sunsilk, Pantene work fine for my hair if not great but this one just dries out my hair like crazy. I have waist-length permed hair and the product makes my hair look and feel like grass. Didn't even want to touch my hair. After three days I changed the conditioner to my old one and my hair got better but still frizzy and limp. First bad experience with hair care products. Hate both the shampoo and conditioner. :(

I use this shampoo when i want to moisturize my hair a little, after an hair dye. A week or so after my hair dye i use this one. I use nutri sleek by l'oreal as a detangler.both combined works well.it leaves my hair super soft, shinny, thicker. I rotate with my shampoos, either tresemme or herbal essence or redken.that way,my hair looks good and are healthy! Love it!

I have never, ever hated a shampoo that I've tried until this one. I've only used it for a week and I've already gone through half a bottle because I have to use so much to get my hair somewhat clean. It doesn't lather at all either and worst of all, it dried my hair out like crazy! I thought this was a moisturizing shampoo! My hair has never looked so fried and dull. I've used other Tresemme products and they turned out pretty good but not this one.

I had been using clarifying shampoos to try and fade some color in my hair for the last few days, so I needed to start using something gentle that would protect my hair. This stuff is great! What a difference in the texture and smooth shiny look that this shampoo delivers. It's like, my hair was drenched in vitamins and nutrients that it so needed. TRESemme has always had great products, so it's no surprise. It's definitely worth a try, if you want some smooth, moisturized and happy hair!:-)

I have always been a fan of TRESemme's cheap salon-quality products, and I can honestly say, my dry, damaged hair loves this shampoo!
I've been using this shampoo, along with the matching conditioner (which I adore!) for about a year now. I particuarly like this shampoo's ability to effectively clean my hair without robbing it of all my NATURAL oils. I will continue to re-purchase this along with the conditioner which gives hair my softness and managability.
If you have dry, thick, damaged hair like me that has a tendancy to frizz, you will love this shampoo (and the conditioner)!!
I WOULDN'T recommend this or the matching conditioner for oily or thin hair types.
Hope this review was helpful! :] <3
